Asma Ul Husna interactive courseware: adaptation of multimedia learning principles / Arifah Fasha Rosmani, Ray Adderley JM. Gining and Asiraa Angwar
Asma Ul Husna interactive courseware has been developed as an assistive tool intended for primary school students to learn about the 99 names of Allah SWT. The interactive courseware implemented multimedia elements such as text, graphic, audio and animation to assist users' learning process. Additionally, as it is presented with the absence of the traditional face-to face method, the materials are required to be engaging to the users. The 'engaging' requirement is achieved by adopting several multimedia learning principles. The principle of multimedia learning consists of variety of principles which are utilised to develop the design and organisation of multimedia presentations. User Acceptance test has been carried out among primary school students to determine the overall level of acceptance and understanding towards the courseware. Other than that, this test is also conducted to assess the effects of the multimedia learning principles being adopted. The impacts shown by the results are significant as to confirm its benefits to its target users

Every emerging country face the issue of public parking congestion in the urban area. Ignoring the issue would breed a series of problems; from traffic disruption to violating the laws related to traffic. In Malaysia, the City Council has made an effort to mitigate the problem by using a coupon - which largely handled manually by the user by purchasing and paying the coupon through a machine. However, the procedure of using a coupon is considered inefficient due to challenges such as; extensive time, coupon exploitation and material waste. Therefore, to mitigate the problem surfaced in the current procedure, a mobile application is developed to handle the parking reservation process. The reservation process included the function to view the parking's availability thus presented the user the advantage of reserving parking earlier in the case of parking usage are at the peak. This paper highlighted the requirement identification and design and development phases

My-Wakaf: a waqf of property management application / Razin Azri Mohamad Razid ...[et al.]
In almost every Islamic country, the number of waqf properties is increasing at an exponential rate. As a result, managing such abundant amount of waqf properties can be very tedious and challenging. In Malaysia, waqf properties is managed by respective State Islamic Religious Council and are still using traditional method of recording all waqf asset. As a result, the My-Wakaf prototype mobile application was created to aid with the workload of managing waqf assets or properties. The methodology used for the project is the Waterfall model that is based on the original System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that have 5 phases which are Planning, Design, Development, Testing and Documentation phase. My-Wakaf application is developed using Android Studio and it is integrated with Firebase Cloud database to help store waqf assets information securely to be accessed anywhere, reducing the human errors and cost of managing such properties. According to a user acceptability test conducted on numerous responders, the majority of them were highly happy with the My-Wakaf application's general functionality. Finally, it is intended that My-Wakaf would help the Muslim community as a whole by increasing awareness of waqf knowledge and stimulating economic growth
Data visualisation of vehicle crash using interactive map and data dashboard
Vehicle crash contributes to a significant number of deaths and injuries in human races around the world. The government and the transportation expert work together around the clock to lessen the number of injuries and fatalities cause from vehicle crash issues. To come out with an effective solution whether from improving the trafficking system including road conditions or increasing awareness among drivers, the experts must analyse the data of vehicle crash from the past decades to find the major causes and come out with a decision. The lack of suitable techniques and tools to analyse a large amount of data is a deterrent in analysing vehicle crash datasets, and the process costs a lot of time. Data visualisation is a technique that allows people to display data in a more infographic form via data visualisation models. Therefore, this study aims to promote and elaborate more on data visualisation techniques using the interactive map and data dashboard to display vehicle crash data. Interactive map and data dashboard can help the government and transportation experts to describe vehicle crash data for them to make right decision to lessen car accident issues. The interactive map focuses on displaying vehicle crash data in map presentation while the data dashboard shows some charts and graph that describe the vehicle crash data in the statistical form. This study can be a reference model of creating interactive map and data dashboard or enhancing the capabilities in managing vehicle crash

A framework to shape the recommender system features based on participatory design and artificial intelligence approaches
A recommender system is an algorithm aiming at giving suggestions to users on relevant elements or items such as products to purchase, books to read, jobs to apply or anything else depending on industries or situations. Recently, there has been a surge in interest in developing a recommender system in a variety of areas. One of the most widely used approaches in recommender systems is collaborative filtering (CF). The CF is a strategy for automatically creating a filter based on a user's needs by extracting desires or recommendation information from a large number of users. The CF approach uses multiple correlation steps to do this. However, the occurrence of uncertainty in finding the best similarity measure is unavoidable. This paper outlines a method for improving the configuration of a recommender system that is tasked with recommending an appropriate study field and supervisor to a group of final-year project students. The framework we suggest is built on a participatory design methodology that allows students' individual opinions to be factored into the recommender system's design. The architecture of the recommender scheme was also illustrated using a real-world scenario, namely mapping the students' field of interest to a possible supervisor for the final year project
Designing an IoT-based System to Detect the Out-of-pitch Balls in a Football Match
The incorrect decision making that referee made during a football match is becoming unsatisfied game or biased game. The problem of how a decision made by the referee when coming to an error in football had been issues that being debate. The player or fans did not seem satisfied when referee decide such as a goal or no goal, penalty or no penalty, direct red card, and mistaken identity. Hence, there must be a plan to tackle the problem by using technology, especially in this era. Therefore, as an initial approach, this paper is focusing on developing a design for the ball out detection using the assistants of the IoT (Internet of Things). Correctly, the IoT approach was used for detecting the ball out of play, i.e. from a football match. Note that this proposed design was built based on data obtained from a survey questionnaire conducted with the experts in football and fans of football regarding the ball out of play system. The evaluation of the proposed design suggested that the proposed design promising to improve the decision-making made in the football match. It is hoped that the study can contribute to the improvement of overall decision making by the referee when coming to ball out or other error that player made
