The influence of characteristics of slovenian manufacturing companies on the project management maturity
No full textV magistrski nalogi sem raziskoval povezavo med zrelostjo projektnega managementa in značilnostmi slovenskih proizvodnih podjetij. V teoretičnem delu naloge sem predstavil projektni management, njegove ključne koncepte in modele s poudarkom na modelu zrelosti PMMM (Project Management Maturity Model). Predstavil sem tudi značilnosti proizvodnih podjetij, proizvodne dejavnike in njihov pomen za gospodarstvo.
V praktičnem delu naloge sem analiziral podatke raziskave European Manufacturing Survey (EMS). Na osnovi teoretičnega znanja sem pripravil kriterije za razvrščanje podjetij po stopnjah zrelosti projektnega managementa. Rezultati kažejo, da večina sodelujočih podjetij v raziskavi dosega srednjo stopnjo zrelosti projektnega managementa.
Na podlagi analiz sem potrdil tri raziskovalne hipoteze: (1) večja podjetja praviloma dosegajo višjo stopnjo zrelosti projektnega managementa(2) podjetja, ki izdelujejo kompleksnejše izdelke, dosegajo višjo raven zrelosti projektnega managementain (3) podjetja z višjo stopnjo zrelosti več vlagajo v raziskave in razvoj. Analiza dokazuje, da ima projektni management pomembno vlogo v slovenskih proizvodnih podjetjihThis master’s thesis explores the relationship between project management maturity and the characteristics of Slovenian manufacturing companies. In theoretical part of the thesis, I presented project management, its key concepts and models, with a focus on the Project Management Maturity Model (PMMM). I also presented the characteristics of manufacturing companies, production factors, and their importance for the economy.
In the practical part of the thesis, I analyzed data from the European Manufacturing Survey (EMS). Using knowledge from theory, I developed criteria to classify companies according to their level of project management maturity. The results show that the majority of participating companies reach a medium level of project management maturity.
Based on the analysis, I confirmed three research hypotheses: (1) larger companies generally achieve higher level of project management maturity(2) companies that produce more complex products tend to reach higher maturity leveland (3) companies with higher maturity level invest more in research and development. The analysis demonstrates that project management plays an important role in Slovenian manufacturing companie
Organization of production in Transpak d.o.o. company
No full textV diplomski nalogi smo se soočili s problemom razmestitve delovnih mest v podjetju Transpak. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili organizacijo proizvodnje in tudi tipe organizacijskih struktur. Pod poglavjem organizacija proizvodnje smo prikazali tudi postopek preračuna optimalnih kapacitet sistema in razmestitve delovnih mest. To teorijo smo potem aplicirali na praktičnem primeru podjetja Transpak d.o.o. in podali primerne predloge za rešitev problema. Po preračunu smo ugotovili, da je v podjetju možno pridobiti dodaten prostor, katerega lahko uporabimo za različne namene.This thesis elaborates on the problem of the arrangement of work places using the example of Transpak company. The theoretical part describes the different organizational structures of manufacturing companies and introduces the procedures of calculating the optimal capacity and arrangement of work places. In the practical part of the thesis the theory is applied for Transpak d. o o. Furthermore recommendations for the solution of the problem are offered. The calculation shows that the company still has free space that can be used for differential purposes
