Electric pulse induced resistance change effect in manganites due to polaron localization at the metal-oxide interfacial region

    No full text
Combining pulse-probe measurements as well as local transport measurements in an electron microscope system by a simultaneous monitoring of the structural changes, we show that the nonvolatile electric pulse induced resistance change in Ca-doped praseodymium manganite is related to a polaron order-disorder transition, modified by electronic band bending in the vicinity of an interface to a metallic electrode. A pronounced resistance change requires a critical distance between the two electrode and/or oxide interfaces to form an insulating incommensurate polaron-ordered phase during the initialization of the device. Based on these observations, a qualitative model for the electronic structure of the metal-oxide interface is developed

Industry Foundation Classes – Ein herstellerunabhängiges Datenmodell für den gesamten Lebenszyklus eines Bauwerks

    No full text

Modeling Cities and Landscapes in 3D with CityGML

    No full text
CityGML is the most important international standard used to model cities and landscapes in 3D with extensive semantics. Compared to BIM standards such as IFC, CityGML models are usually less detailed but they cover a much greater spatial extent. They are also available in any of five standardized levels of detail. CityGML serves as an exchange format and as a data source for visualizations, either in dedicated applications or in a web browser. It can also be used for a wide range of spatial analyses, such as visibility studies and solar potential. Ongoing research will improve the integration of BIM standards with CityGML, making improved data exchange possible throughout the life-cycle of urban and environmental processes.Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository ‘You share, we take care!’ – Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.Urban Data Scienc

3D spatial information infrastructure: The case of Port Rotterdam

    No full text
The development and maintenance of the infrastructure, facilities, logistics and other assets of the Port of Rotterdam requires a broad spectrum of heterogeneous information. This information concerns features, which are spatially distributed above ground, underground, in the air and in the water. The data are managed in a variety of data models with varying levels of dimensionality, granularity, accuracy and upto- dateness. Additionally increasing number of 3D design models is becoming available. This complexity of tasks and diversity of information challenges the Port authority to look for more advanced 3D solutions. This paper presents research in progress related to developing a 3D SII in support of information and process management within the Port of Rotterdam.GIS TechnologyOTB Research Institute for the Built Environmen
