Rosny Aîné'nin modern bilimkurgunun tek temsilcisi olduğu, bilimkurgunun gelecekten daha çok şimdiki zaman ile insandan önce ve insandan beri olan ayrımın gerçeklik algısıyla olan değişimi; bilimsel mümkünlük temelinde, bir canlının özünün bilinebilirliği gibi konulara açıklık getirilmeye çalışılmıştır. İnsanı merkezinde bulunduran bilimkurgu için bilinenden ziyade bilinmeyene olan merak güdüsü sınırları aşmak için temsiliyet görevi üstlenmiştir. Eskinin eskisini, insanlık tarihinin başlangıcını geriye dönerek karşılaştırmalar yapabilmek, orijinalliğe daha yakın bir bilimi, bilimsel mümkünlüğün olabilirliğiyle değer kazandırmıştır. Yeni Dünya'yı oluşturabilmek ve ona tekrardan biçim verebilmek, evrenin bilinmeyen gizemini anlamayı sağlamıştır. Girişte, bilimkurgunun çeşitli incelemelerle tanımları belirtilip, Aîné'nin Dünya'yı ve evreni tamamen değiştirebilmek amacıyla, "kurguyu gerçeğe çevirmek mümkün olabilir midir?" sorusuna yazarın, ne düzeyde karşılık verebildiğine değinilmiştir. İlk bölümde, Fransa'da bilimkurgu anlayışına dikkat çekilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, Aîné üzerine incelemelerle çağdaş bilimkurgu yazarlarından ayrıldığı noktalar belirtilerek, yazarın başlıca eserlerinin analizi yapılmıştır ve modern bilimkurgunun daha belirgin tanımı oluşturulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde, Olağanüstü-bilimsel öykülerin içerdiği özelliklerle Poe, Wells ve Maurice Renard'ın bilimkurgu ile görüşlerinin yanlışlıkları belirtilmiştir. Aynı zamanda Jules Verne'in bilimkurgunun asıl öncüsü olmadığı gözlemlenmiştir. Sonuçta, Rosny Aîné'nin bilimkurguyu en zengin haliyle, doğru olarak yansıttığı gösterilmiştir.İn this thesis, is determined that J.-H. Rosny Aîné is the one only representative of modern science fiction, that science fiction is changing from the with present and the humanity with the perception of reality; the essence of vibrant being can be found in the form of scientific possibility. The curiosity motive of science fiction, which keeps humanity in the center towards the unknown rather tho known, has assumed the duty of representation to trascend borders. The ability to compare the ancient one by returning the beginning of human history is bringing closer science to originality into value by the possibility of scientific prospect. By the creating the New World and giving it shape again, it has led to an understanding of the unknown secret of the universe. İn the introduction, given the definitons of science fiction through various studies and the fact that Aîné can completely change the world and the universe, "could it be possible to turn fiction into reality?" With author's question, the level to which the author was able to respond mentioned. İn the first chapter, understanding of science fiction was highlighted in France. İn the second chapter, by specifying the points on which Aîné differs from contemprorary science fiction authors, an analysis of the author's main works were made and a more specific definition of modern science fiction was created. İn the third chapter, in accuracies of Poe, Wells and Maurice Renard's views science fiction are indicated with quality of extraordinary-science fiction stories. Also, has been observed Jules Verne, he wasn't real precursor of science fiction. İn conclusion, it has been shown that Rosny Aîné accurately reflects science fiction in precious style
