There is a defined term comprehensive cancer center and location of these centers in the Czech Republic. Get PDFCílem práce bylvýběr nového lineárního urychlovače pro Thomayerovu nemocnici vPraze. Stávající lineární urychlovač Siemens Primus má svojí životnost, která pomalu končí. Práce porovnává3přístroje-TomoTherapy od firmy Accuray, Versa HD od firmy ELEKTA a TrueBeam od firmy VARIAN. Khodnocení byly použity metody multikritériálního hodnocení -Saatyho matice a metoda TOPSIS. Výsledky metod posloužily kvyjádření míry efektivity pro výpočet analýzy nákladové efektivity (CEA), sjejichž pomocí byla stanovena nákladově optimální varianta přístroje. Vítězným přístrojem, podle provedených výpočtů, se stal lineární urychlovač TrueBeam odfirmy VARIAN, který by měl být co nejefektivnější zhlediska pořizovací ceny. TrueBeam se řadí k nejmodernějším lineárním urychlovačům na světě, který disponuje dokonalým systémem ozařování. Jeho největší předností je univerzálnost a přesné zacílení nádorového ložiska. Přístroj dodává požadovanou dávku až osmkrát rychleji, než dosahují současné nejvýkonnější metody. Umožňuje ozářit více pacientů, aniž by došlo ke snížení kvality poskytované zdravotní péče. Pokud by Onkologická klinika Thomayerovy nemocnice nákup lineárního urychlovačeTrueBeam firmy VARIANuskutečnila, vložené investice by měly návratnost zhruba za6,5roku. Nákup lineárního urychlovače může nemocnice poříditzprojektuIntegrovaného operačního programu Evropské unie, který přispíváaž85 % azbývající část může nemocnice uhradit zvlastních zdrojůThis paper aims arethe choice of a linear accelerator for the Thomayer Hospital of Prague. The current Siemens Primus linear accelerator is approaching the end of its life. The paper compares three devices ?TomoTherapy from the Accuray Company, Versa HD from the ELEKTA Company and TrueBeam from the VARIAN Company. The multi-criteria evaluation methods as Saaty matrix and TOPSIS method were used. The method results were used to express the effectiveness magnitude for the calculation of the cost -effectiveness analysis (CEA) and served to set the device cost-optimal variant. The calculations set as the winning device the TrueBeam linear accelerator from theVARIAN Company which should be the most effective in terms of acquisition price. TrueBeam falls into the most modern linear accelerators in the world with the perfect system of radiation. Its main virtue is universality as well as the tumor lesion exact focusing. The device supplies the required dose eight times as fast as the current most powerful methods. It enables to radiate more patients withoutany decrease in the quality ofthe provided health care. If the Department of Oncology of the Thomayer Hospital bought the TrueBeam linear accelerator from the VARIAN Company, the investments would return roughly within 6.5years. The linear accelerator could be bought due to the Integrated Operational Programme of European Union which contributes 85%. The rest could be paid by hospital sources
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
