No full textO amendoim forrageiro (Arachis pintoi Krapov. W.C. Greg) representa-se como uma opção promissora devido ao seu alto potencial para produção de biomassa, valor nutritivo e persistência no dossel. A avaliação de novos acessos é importante para a identificação dos grupos que possuem habilidades distintas que serão interessantes para cada segmento do mercado. O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar as características estruturais, morfogênicas e produtivas de acessos de amendoim forrageiro, além de apresentar quais acessos conseguem atender as demandas atuais. A área experimental era composta por 26 acessos, além da cultivar Belomonte, que foram plantados em canteiros individuais de 2,00 x 1,80 m. O período experimental foi de setembro de 2019 a junho de 2020, sendo feitas avaliações nas estações primavera, verão e outono. Foram avaliadas as características altura do dossel, massa de forragem, taxa de acúmulo de forragem, densidade de estolão, número de flores, interceptação luminosa, número de folhas, área de folha, comprimentos de pecíolo, entrenó e caule, taxa de aparecimento de folhas, taxas de alongamento de folha, pecíolo e caule e taxas de senescência de pecíolo e folha. Estas características foram utilizadas como indicadores na análise de discriminação dos acessos de amendoim forrageiro, sendo estimada a distância euclidiana entre os grupos por meio da análise de cluster, com validação feita pelo teste F. Além disso, foi realizada a análise de componentes principais. Todos os procedimentos estatísticos foram realizados por meio do SAS (OnDemand for Academics). Foram formados 5 clusters onde foram inseridos os acessos que são semelhantes quanto as características mencionadas, sendo observado por meio do teste F que estes grupos foram significativamente diferentes entre si. Na formação dos componentes principais, foi verificado que a componente principal 1 explicou 52,9 das variações, sendo as variáveis de altura do dossel, comprimentos de entrenó, caule e pecíolo, área final da folha, taxa de aparecimento de folha, taxas de alongamento de folha, pecíolo e caule as características que mais atuaram na formação dessa componente. O componente principal 2 explicou 23,9, sendo as variáveis de massa e taxa de acúmulo de forragem, número de flores, interceptação luminosa, densidade de estolão e taxas de senescência de folha e pecíolo as características que mais atuaram na formação dessa componente. As variáveis mais marcantes para os clusters 1 e 2 foram altura do dossel, comprimento de pecíolo, área da folha, comprimento de pecíolo e taxas de alongamento de pecíolo e folha. Estas características foram inversamente proporcionais às variáveis de número de folhas, taxas de alongamento de caule e aparecimento de folha e comprimento de entrenó e caule, as quais foram marcantes para o cluster 5. Já as características produtivas tiveram grande influência no cluster 3 e foram inversamente proporcionais ao número de flores, que por sua vez foi a variável mais importante no cluster 4. Com as caracterizações peculiares dentro de cada cluster foi possível indicar os melhores acessos para produção de massa de forragem, produção de sementes, utilização na conservação do solo e no paisagismo

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
