The Danube Region Poetry: Personalities and Creativity
The article presents the material on the Danube region contemporary poets, whose work is
well known not only to the cultural circle of Izmail intelligentsia, but also outside the Danube region.
From the many authors, regularly published in the anthology «Literary Izmail», the author singles out
the creativite, works of Mikhail Vasilyuk, Leonid Andreyev, Vladimir Reva, Vladimir Vorobyov,
Sergei Levin, Nadezhda Parshihina, Isabella Voronova. In addition to subjective associations on
various topics, the works of these authors pay a particular interest to their native land, located in a
picturesque region near the Danube River. Each of the poets offers his own version of the lyrics,
which is the product of a talented individual inspiration coming from the subtle perception of the
landscape beauties of the Danube

Perwatakan Tokoh Dalam Novel Putri Komodo Karya Michael Yudha Winarno
Imaginative literary works are the result of the wishful thinking of an author. The author describes a picture of a person's life through a novel. This research is entitled "Characteristics of the Characters in the Novel Putri Komodo by Michael Yudha Winarno". The problems described in this study are: (1) What is the character of the main character, the character of additional characters, (2) How does the author describe the character of the character in the novel Putri Komodo by Michael Yudha Winarno. This study aims to describe, and analyze: Characteristics in the novel Putri Komodo by Michael Yudha Winarno. The author uses the theory of character in prose fiction from Aminuddin (2014) and Burhan Nurgiyantoro (2012). This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data collection technique is hermeneutic technique. The data validity technique used triangulation technique. The data sources used are the entire contents of the novel Putri Komodo by Michael Yudha Winarno. The data taken in this study is the form of words and sentences that describe the character's character. The results of the research on the character of the character in the novel Putri Komodo by Michael Yudha Winarno, there is the character of the main character, namely Fanty, which is described by the author analytically (directly) and dramatic (indirectly). Additional characters Laila is described by the author analytically (directly), Rosa is described by the author analytically (directly), Mama is described by the author analytically (directly), Father is described by the author analytically (directly), Camelia, is described by the author analytically (directly), Sister Gracia the author is described analytically (directly), Grandma Ato is described by the author analytically (directly), Udis is described by the author analytically (directly), Pak Haji Sobari is described by the author analytically (directly)

This Study aims to develop a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Matehmatics (STEM) learning design integrated with computational thinkinh skills through a simple vacuum cleaner project for elementary school students. This study is based on the idea that computational thinking skills is one of the essential skills that students must prosess in the 21st century, the limited number of studies related to the integration of STEM and computational thinking at the elementary school level, and the need for examples of learning that integrate computational thinking skills in elementary schools. The research method used is Educational Design Research (EDR) based on the McKenny and Revees model, employing a mixed approach of qualitative and quantitative methods. The research stages include analysis and exploration, design and construction, as well as evaluation and reflection. The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SDN Cilingga and their teacher. Through the EDR method, this study produced a learning design in the form of a validated Lesson Plan (RPP). The plan was thesn revised and tedted in teo limited trials. Based on the limited trials, the learning process was found to foster computational thinking skills such as abstraction, decomposition, algorithm, and debugging through activities following the Engineering Design Process (EDP). The final product of this research is a STEM-bades learning design integrated with computational thinking skills through the simple vacuum cleaner project, which was validated, revised, and tested
“The More We Can Try to Open Them Up, the Better It Will Be for Their Integration”: Integration and the Coercive Assimilation of Muslim Youth
Capitalizing on national anxieties, right wing populist leaders promise to enforce national borders with new constellations of policies that regulate and exclude Muslim bodies. Using the theoretical tool of “technologies of concern” (Jaffe-Walter, 2016), this essay critiques how state security discourses operate through public schools. Drawing on ethnographic research with Muslim youth in a Danish public school and an analysis of European integration policies, the author analyzes how policies and practices that ostensibly support young people’s integration enact everyday violence and coercive assimilation. Highlighting the perspectives of the young people she worked with, the author argues that state efforts to transform Muslim students into acceptable subjects of the nation-state encouraged their alienation and marginalization
