Development Of Multi-Controlled Floor Vacuum Cleaner Using RF Energy Harvesting

This paper investigated Multi-Controlled Floor Vacuum Cleaner power by Radio Frequency Energy Harvesting. Eco-friendly technology brings advance to this new era of technology. The energy consumption of electric is not environmentally friendly. To overcome the problem, implementing Radio Frequency Harvesting Energy to convert in to electric and power up electronic appliances. There are many automatic cleaner robot selling in the market nowadays. However the mostly use of infrared had a limitation in coverage; the robotic using Wi-Fi has a wider coverage. The uses of application also brings the coverage wider which can connect wherever the place have Wi-Fi connection or mobile data available. This benefits can brings more convenient to user can connect wherever they are. This project is started with an objective of develop a multi controlled floor vacuum cleaner using Wi-Fi. In order to make the system smart, ESP8266 Wi-Fi module used to have the internet connection. The prototype of project is developed by using Arduino Uno act as the main controller, L293D motor driver, and ultrasonic sensor. Besides that, Arduino IDE was used to write the program of the robot while Blynk apps use as a controller server. Through the project, this integrated design has performance for cleaning purpose in terms of user-friendly, convenient and eco-friendly

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Development Of Miniature Base Transceiver Station Using Radio Frequency Energy Harvesting

This study developed miniature of base transceiver station powered up by radio frequency energy harvesting. Base transceiver station is one of the major equipment in telecommunication system that able to transmit the signal to the receiver such as mobile phones which let it to complete the communication process. However, the base station need to have power supply to powered up the equipment. Previously studied, the base station’s power supply was from nature sources such as solar energy or wind energy. Due to the unstable condition of the weather, the power radiated might not be able to power up the base station hence, RF energy harvested was introduced. There are 3 main objectives of the project, firstly is to develop the basic concept of base transceiver station with radio frequency energy harvesting. Second, to implement the hall effect sensor into the concept of the base transceiver station. Third, to analyze the idea of the miniature of base transceiver station by look through the output and radio frequency energy harvesting. The RF energy harvested shows one of the methods to overcome this problem. RF energy harvested are one of the tools that need low frequency signal for it to transmit the power to the base transceiver station. The LEDs as the output which indicated as the antenna on the base transceiver station lights up as the hardware connection being made. Hence, the circuit for the RF energy harvesting and the hall sensor effect that will light up the LEDs shown. This study will show the implementation of the RF energy harvesting to the equipment

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Message Conveyor By Motion For Paralyze People Powered Using RF Energy Harvesting

This paper developed message conveyor for paralyze people, it designed to help them communicate because some of the paralyze people cannot or hardly talk. This project is introducing the latest and current technology update in the aera, RF energy harvesting. RF energy harvesting is an option to powering the circuit by converting RF energy to DC power. RF energy is generated from the ambient environment transmitted by millions of radio transmitters and telecommunications media around the globe, such as wireless internet, mobile phones, base station, broadcasting station, Wi-Fi and a Radio Frequency transmitter. RF energy is a long-lasting replacement of power if the Radio Frequency signal is present in the surrounding area. Arduino Mega is used in this project as it is easier to program the coding and a low power sensor. The project serves the needs of the community as it can assist paralyses people to communicate and can enhance the reduction of electricity bills as the RF signal controls the motion sensor

Analysis Of Handover Planning In Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (W–CDMA)

This study analysed the most suitable handover type for Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (W-CDMA) system by using simulation software. Forsk Atoll, Earth Explorer and Global Mapper 15 were used to do the simulations, local area (Bukit Beruang, 2.240°N102.279°E to Bukit Baru, 2.222°N102.275°E) was selected based on the its varies altitudes, high density, high traffic, etc. The simulation result showed that by implementing soft handover in W-CDMA system, the users will experience no drop call during handover from one cell to another cell. The Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) range value between -80 to -100 dBm in all selected area which considered as good signal strength range. There’s no blank spot. Physical measurement in the field (selected area), like drive test, particularly in the handover areas, borders of every cells is required to verify the simulation results, the data from physical measurement in the field must be considered and key in inside the simulation software, so that, the revised or new results will have a high validity

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
