La sessualità come modalità della narrazione nei romanzi di Stefano Benni
No full textStefano Benni è un autore italiano sicuramente molto letto, ma non sempre apprezzato. Duplici, infatti, sono le reazioni davanti alle sue opere, sia da parte dei lettori che da parte dei critici. I primi risultano sempre o molto affezionati alla scrittura dell’autore, o molto infastiditi da essa. I secondi, al contrario, tendono a respingere Benni in toto, non reputandolo annoverabile tra i canoni della critica accademica. La ragione dei pareri negativi sulle opere dell’autore è da ricercare nei temi trattati e, in particolar modo, in uno di essi: la sessualità. Malgrado Benni faccia un uso costante e a piene mani dello strumento dell’ironia (attraverso diversi meccanismi spesso legati al campo retorico dell’adiectio e alla presentazione di immagini irrealistiche sino all’assurdo) anche nell’ambito di tale tematica, essa risulta trattata in modo assai esplicito (figurativamente e linguisticamente) e senza alcun tabù. Questo disturba spesso i lettori, che percepiscono come immotivata tale scelta autoriale, e i critici, che vedono questo atteggiamento come sintomatico di un allontanamento dai canoni tradizionali. In tale sede, tuttavia, si è scelto di prendere una direzione opposta. La presenza della sessualità nelle opere di Benni, infatti, pare essere il fulcro di una particolare modalità della narrazione, che vede tale tematica come l’elemento essenziale che influenza l’agire dei personaggi e l’atto del narrare stesso. Ma non solo: l’istintualità diventa quindi, da una parte, lo stesso motore narrativo delle vicende e, dall’altra, un utile strumento con cui l’autore veicola ulteriori tematiche a lui care e dà libero sfogo al suo personale uso del linguaggio. A partire da tali riflessioni e da un’indagine stilistica dei passi più significativi dei romanzi dell’autore, è possibile giungere a un’ipotesi costitutiva dell’intera antropologia benniana, che permetta di cogliere l’intento autoriale alla base della stessa stesura dei romanzi.Italian author Stefano Benni’s novels are certainly widely read, but not always appreciated. When it comes to judging them, both Benni’s audience and critics might express conflicting opinions and feelings. The former either happens to be very fond of his writing style or truly annoyed by it. The latter, on the other way, usually put him aside, because scholars do not reckon him to be included into the literary canon. The reason for these negative judgements is surely to be searched for in the themes Benni focuses on, one of which might be particularly controversial: sexuality. Despite Benni making constantly use of irony (which is mediated by different devices usually related either to the rhetorical field of adiectio or to descriptions pushed to the limit of the absurd) and sexuality is no exception, it ends up being described with no restraints (both figuratively and linguistically). This often annoys the readers, who perceive it as unmotivated choice by the author, and critics as well consider this behavior a symptomatic departure from traditional canons. Nevertheless, in this essay I deliberately chose to take a different direction. The recurrence of sexuality in Benni’s novels, in fact, seems to be the pivot of a peculiar narrative style, that considers this theme as the essential element that influences the acting of the characters and the act of narration itself. Not just that, instinct on the one hand becomes the narrative engine of the different plots, and on the other is a useful tool with which the author conveys further themes he is particularly fond of. Moreover, he exploits this subject to give voice to his personal use of the language. Starting from these premises, and from a stylistic inquiry of Benni’s most meaningful novel extracts, it is possible to come to a structural hypothesis about the author’s anthropological vision. This allows grasping the purpose which is at the core of all his novel writing
News Production Management of CekFakta in Dealing with Hoax Outbreak Information on the Social Media
No full textIn the digital era, the competition of mass media leads to the practice of media economy as well as creativity in presenting news content. On the other hand, the mass media are challenged to deal with hoaxes. This study aims to find out how the management of news production at Tempo through the CekFakta page. This study uses qualitative methods with content analysis data collection techniques and in-depth interviews. Data collection through interviews with CekFakta journalists, article documentation and literature studies since 2021. The results of this study reveal that there are three important aspects that determine news products, namely the format, quality and content leverage. In terms of format, the news on the CekFakta page has a specificity conclusion the information circulating is true or not. There are three charts that make up the body of fact-checking news, first introduction to the viral information, secondly an explanation of the method of finding the truth of the information and the third stage is conclusions related to the information being studied. Consumer can understand easily the content of the information with the guide. In terms of quality, Tempo has a methodology that becomes the basic guideline for journalists to make news. The benefit aspect is done by disseminating the news through social media. In practice, to achieve these three aspects, fact-checking journalists work with the help of tools obtained through collaboration with external participants. In the era of media industrialization, the news agency has become a company that aims to make a profit. News, as a product of mass media companies must also be designed in such a way as to generate profits. Thus, the practice of journalism must also be adapted to the times. Fact-checking journalism exists not only to improve the quality of information, but also to bring financial benefits to the company
INFEZIONE DA FITOPLASMI IN GRINDELIA ROBUSTA: VALUTAZIONE DELL’OLIO ESSENZIALE
No full textGià da alcuni anni, su varie specie officinali presenti nel Giardino delle Erbe “Augusto Rinaldi Ceroni” di Casola Valsenio (Ravenna), sono state osservate pericolose infezioni causate da fitoplasmi. Nel biennio 2007-2008, in un impianto di grindelia (Grindelia robusta Nutt.) dello stesso Giardino, è stata osservata una sintomatologia tipicamente riferibile alla presenza di questi microrganismi patogeni. Considerando che in letteratura non risultano segnalazioni di fitoplasmosi in questa specie, si è deciso di verificarne la presenza e l’identità mediante l’applicazione di tecniche molecolari.
Considerando che i fitoplasmi possono indurre modificazione importanti della concentrazione dei principi attivi di alcune specie officinali (i.e., iperico), sono state effettuate analisi comparative di GC-MS mettendo a confronto gli oli essenziali ottenuti da piante di grindelia sane ed infette.
I primi sintomi riferibili alla presenza di fitoplasmi sono stati osservati alla fine di maggio del 2007; essi consistevano in fillodia (trasformazione di organi fiorali in foglie o germogli) e virescenza (presenza del pigmento clorofilliano in tessuti fiorali che dovrebbero essere normalmente pigmentati). Nel mese di giugno, al momento della fioritura, le piante hanno mostrato i sintomi più macroscopici riguardanti quasi esclusivamente il fiore: sviluppo anomalo di germogli da organi fiorali, presenza di ammassi di fiori piccoli, malformati ma normalmente pigmentati e circondati da altri virescenti; in altri casi, un unico peduncolo terminava con una sorta di infiorescenza costituita da minuscoli fiori gialli. Non sono stati osservati sintomi di nanismo e/o giallume sull’apparato fogliare. Nel 2008, nel medesimo impianto, la formazione dei boccioli è avvenuta con circa un mese di anticipo, anche se i primi sintomi riferibili alla presenza di fitoplasmi sono stati osservati, come l’anno precedente, solo verso la metà di giugno. L’incidenza della malattia è risultata del 50% nel biennio di osservazioni.

Introduzione

In particolare, casi di giallume, virescenza e nanismo hanno riguardato Digitalis lutea L., D. lanata Ehrh., Vinca rosea L. ed Hypericum perforatum L. (Bellardi et al., 2007). Nel biennio 2007-2008, in un impianto di grindelia (Grindelia robusta Nutt.) dello stesso Giardino, è stata osservata una sintomatologia tipicamente riferibile alla presenza di questi microrganismi patogeni. Considerando che in letteratura non risultano segnalazioni di fitoplasmosi in questa specie, si è deciso di verificarne la presenza e l’identità mediante l’applicazione di tecniche molecolari.
La grindelia (Figura 1) è una pianta erbacea perenne medicinale: le si riconoscono proprietà antiasmatiche, anticatarrali, espettoranti, sedative della tosse e della pertosse, emollienti, diuretiche, antispasmodiche, sedative delle vie urinarie e tonicardiache. E’ assai viscida al tatto per la presenza di una sostanza resinosa ed appiccicosa contenente gran parte delle sostanze terapeuticamente attive, fra cui numerosi acidi (i.e., acido grindelico), una saponi..
