No full textThis paper aims to map the reality of the concept of humanism education in the context of Islamic education. Education is one of the most essential keys in human life. In general, education aims to help humans to get the existence of humanity as a whole. Education also aims to make people better in life. Currently education has not been able to achieve the goals and objectives of education itself are humanizing human beings by optimizing all the potential that exists in human beings. On the contrary the education that occurs today only creates a human being a robot or machine that can be controlled. Education as a process of human humanization (humanization) comes from the idea of humanism. This is in line with the basic meaning of humanism as human education. The system of education in Islam built on the basis of humanistic values since its inception appears in accord with its essence as a humanity religion. Islam makes human dimension as the orientation of education. The insight of humanism in education carries the principle of empowering each human being as a free individual to develop its potential. That means education is held to manage and develop the human self in order to become a whole human according to human nature.</jats:p
Teacher Competence Test of Islamic Primary Teachers Education in State Islamic Primary Schools (MIN) Of Pidie Regency
No full textThis study aims at examining the readiness of the Diploma-II holders of Primary Teachers Education of STIT AL-Hilal Sigli in drawing up the Lesson Plan and implementing the teaching and learning interactions in the classroom. In particular, the study attempts to figure out whether the teaching and learning interaction meet the methods listed in the Lesson Plan (RPP) and the assessment system of learner’s performance in Islamic Primary schools throughout Pidie regency. The sample of this study is nineteen Islamic Primary schools throughout Pidie regency. While to collect data from the research field, the researchers used observation, interviews, and documents. The result indicates that: (1) in general, the teachers have good and considerate preparation in drawing up the Lesson Plan within a sufficient time instead having an extemporaneous teaching. They commonly conducted the Lesson Plan preparation through the discussion with other fellow teachers which avoids them from having a significant obstacle. The only considerable stumbling blocks are the learning source, learning media, and psychological factors. All the written Lesson Plans will be accounted to the principal, superintendent, and the education department. Otherwise, the teachers will be penalized for not making one. (2) The method specified in the Lesson Plan does not correspond to the methods used in teaching and learning in general. (3) The respondents generally do not apply taxonomic Bloom in the grading system in schools where they are in charge

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti tentang perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan dosen prodi pendidikan fisika, dan implikasi kinerja dosen terhadap pengembangan kurikulum di Fakultas Tarbiyah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket dan wawancara. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan Rating Scale (skala peringkat), yaitu melihat kinerja dosen mulai dari yang paling rendah sampai kepada yang paling tinggi. Berdasarkan permasalah, metode dan analisis data di atas, maka hasil penelitian ini adalah: untuk bobot nilai sempurna adalah 4, yang berasal dari total bobot nilai dosen yang dibagikan dengan jumlah dosen. Saat ini belum ada aspek yang mencapai nilai sempurna. Secara keseluruhan kinerja para dosen prodi pendidikan fisika Fakultas ilmu tarbiyah dan keguruan IAIN Ar-Raniry dapat dikatagorikan baik. Demikian juga implikasi kinerja tersebut terhadap pengembangan kurikulum Fakultas Tarbiyah ke depan

No full textThis Researth focus es on the response of Muslim community in Indoensia to the concept of democracy and democratization. To exemine this research, my study is based on three model of frame work, that is, “negative”, “netral” and“positive”. The first one is nown as “Religion versus Democracy”, second, is “Secularization of Politic ”, and the last one is “Theo-democracy”.
This research consists of two approach, that is, normative approach and empirical approach. In normative approach, examination is focused on the values of democracy that begin from droctrinal Islamic perspective, and in empirical Approach the focus is on democracy implication in practice and state regulations. The result of this study indicates that there are two kinds of reponse of muslim community toward democracy. The first one is the views that agrees with and accept the system and concept of democracy, and the other is the one that dose not agree and reject the system and concept of democracy.
The different beetwen them is rooted in their understanding and intepretating of the text of al-Qu’ran al-Karim. The former group who accepts democracy are usually called “moderate”, while the second group is known as “extremists” or “conservatives’.
