No full textIan Hacking, titulaire de la chaire de Philosophie et histoire des concepts scientifiques (2000-2006) au Collège de France, a reçu le Ludwig Holberg Memorial Prize à Bergen, Norvège, le 25 novembre 2009. Le prix Holberg comporte trois volets. Le Holberg Prize School Project est un prix de recherche pour les élèves de lycée. Le Nils Klim Prize est décerné à des chercheurs nordiques de moins de 35 ans travaillant dans les domaines couverts par le prix Holberg. Le Holberg International Memorial Prize est décerné chaque année « pour une œuvre intellectuelle exceptionnelle dans un domaine relevant des arts et des humanités, des sciences sociales, du droit et de la théologie ». Le montant de ce prix est de 4,5 millions de couronnes norvégiennes (environ 500 000 €)
