A DSL-based modeling approach for energy harvesting IoT/WSN
The diffusion of intelligent services and the push for the integration of computing systems and services in the environment in which they operate require a constant sensing activity and the acquisition of different information from the environment and the users. Health monitoring, domotics, Industry 4.0 and environmental challenges leverage the availability of cost-effective sensing solutions that allow both the creation of knowledge bases and the automatic process of them, be it with algorithmic approaches or artificial intelligence solutions. The foundation of these solutions is given by the Internet of Things (IoT), and the substanding Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) technology stack. Of course, design approaches are needed that enable defining efficient and effective sensing infrastructures, including energy related aspects. In this paper we present a Domain Specific Language for the design of energy aware WSN IoT solutions, that allows domain experts to define sensor network models that may be then analyzed by simulation-based or analytic techniques to evaluate the effect of task allocation and offioading and energy harvesting and utilization in the network. The language has been designed to leverage the SIMTHESys modeling framework and its multiformalism modeling evaluation features
L'Inchiesta
An integrative body therapy approach: The Neo-Functionalism approach
Recent scientific evidence highlights the importance of the body, in its both cognitive and emotional aspects, and this stimulates therapists to seek more integrated forms of therapy. This article introduces the Neo-Funcionalism approach, which is a key therapeutic approach that emphasises the importance of the body. The first part of the article provides evidence supporting the approach and discusses two of its most important components: the 'functions' and the 'basic experiences'. In the second part of the article, the two conceptual components are discussed with reference to a case report of therapeutic work
EVALUATING THE EFFECTS OF NUDGING AND DETERRENCE ON USERS’ BEHAVIOR FOR PRIVACY-BY-DESIGN
The definition of privacy-related specifications is crucial in the design process of any system which is subject to the GDPR. Privacy-related requirements can be seen as qualitative non-functional requirements which result in additional functional requirements during the specification process. As the application of GDPR is basically assessed by means of risk analysis of data treatments, a quantitative aspect of evaluation is anyway needed: consequently, defining a quantitative approach to privacy-related specifications is desirable, and suitable tools should be identified or provided. While there is some analogy with the field of security and the field of dependability, so that tools might be somehow and to some extent borrowed from those domains, the privacy domain also requires that human factor must be modeled, and external influences on human factors should be modeled as well. In this sense, risk can be evaluated similarly to what can be done in the security field, and this is actually done in the privacy domain by approaches like DPIA, but nudging and deterrence play a different role and are worth some reflections. In this paper we discuss this perspective on privacyrelated specification and discuss the use of a tool, Pythia, which is not related to the risk analysis domain but can be profitably used, in our opinion, to define privacy policies as complementary to privacyaware systems design cycles and to assess their impact. We present an improved analysis of a model from our previous research to show that this point of view on privacy-aware systems design is peculiar and should be considered in the design processes

EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES AND INCLUSIVE CURRICULUM FOR STUDENT VALORIZATION
The present paper is a critical essay which starts from an international perspective, develops through the analysis of the changes in the Italian school curriculum and ends with a descrip tion of the Italian educational perspective. From the inclusive educational routes to the UDL's potentials and scopes, the paper stresses our need to create special-need-based inclusive educational itineraries and to place special needs at the centre of the teaching/learning pro cess. Thus, an educational-success-oriented curriculum lends itself to becoming a fertile ter rain where each and every student could safely and trusfully express his/her own specific aptitudes and inclinations. New technologies make their own valuable contribution to this new educational scenario not only because they facilitate the learning process, but also be cause they promote the development of digital skills, both for students and for teachers. The data supporting the present study, however, show that the Italian school curriculum is not yet efficient in the use and transmission of digital skills. A reconsideration of teacher training routes and a restructuring of school curricula is fundamental, and the recent Scuola Futura initiatives for PNRR (the Italian Recovery and Resilience Plan) to fund the renovation of the Italian school system could at least be considered a valuable start. The present study finally stresses the important contribution of digital education in making the student an active part in his/her own learning route by fostering such cognitive and metacognitive processes and creative, divergent, immersive and emotionally challenging learning itineraries as could val orize his/her educational potentials
Exploring the relationship between governance, power of control and organizational conflict: a survey on small and medium Italian family firms
The aim of the paper is to develop and test a theoretical model concerning the relations among some variables of organisational design and the type and nature of the conflict in family firms. The theoretical model is developed through a variety of hypotheses which tested by means of a survey on 175 firms registered at Italian Association of Family Businesses. In particular, conflict is analysed as a dependent variable with respect of: power concentration (measured in terms of founder centrality), formal governance mechanisms and generational involvement. The study examines how these three organizational features ultimately affect the functioning of a family firm, in terms of expected effect on task, process and relationship conflict. The results of empirical analysis confirmed that the level of power concentration directly influences task, process and relationship conflict, and that greater generational involvement fosters the development of relationship conflict
