    –The paper show how the symbolic interactionism study the poverty phenomena. The Author explain the concepts and the interpretative model of poverty of interactionist approach. It is defined by two dimensions: stigma and social giving. This model permits to interpret poverty in the comparative approach by defines four different types of poverty: crystallized, disadvantaged, tolerate and not relevant.     Between Work Flexibility and Higher Education: the Digital Workers in Southern Italy

    The article presents an analysis of digital workers with degrees in Humanities: political, social, and communication sciences. In the context of the Mezzogiorno of Italy, characterized by a depressed economy, a qualitative study is used to analyze the new works of the knowledge society. The paper explores the important flexibilization process of subjects with high human capital and under- employment. After having discussed the labour market context and, in particular, the types of demand for work in the South of Italy, the Author analyzes the consequences on identities, the meaning of worker’s lives and the effects on the reduction of relationships. The results are based on thirty qualitative interviews of digital workers. The paper argues that precariousness does not reduce the expectations of the workers and their professional ability, but has an impact resulting in a decreased material standard of living

    Agape: un concetto per le scienze sociali

    The aim of this paper is to place in contemporary social theory the concept of agape. It is ancient for theological research and, in some respects, philosophical, but unpublished for the social sciences, except for recent work such as Luc Boltanski. The effort to define the concept of agape, trace the epistemological boundaries, identify the size, distinguish the meanings and use it for the empirical analysis are the main points developed by the wise. In this perspective, the author suggests that the agape makes us reconsider the deepest vocation of the social sciences, namely, that in addition to the prospects of self-analysis, both reaffirmed the emancipatory character of the discipline it, and then, the prospect of critical theory
