This is a short presentation of the main works of the Danish author Anders Bodelsen
Practicum, net even anders
ImPhys/Practicum suppor
Partnering as a strategy to approach new markets : case Anders Inno
This thesis was done for Anders Inno Oy, a Finnish small and medium sized enterprise from Turku, interested in widening their operations by approaching international markets.
This thesis was based on the applied thesis model. The purpose of this thesis was to analyse the process of partnering as a strategy in the case of Anders Inno Oy with a strong focus on trust and commitment as part of the partnering process. The research method was to investigate and analyse the factors of commitment and trust in partnerships and implement partnering as a potential strategy for Anders Inno to approach the German markets.
The first part of this thesis was to briefly illustrate the case background and circumstances of the starting situation of the project at the time the author was assigned. The second part consisted out of discussing partnering in general, as well as the part of commitment and the relationship between trust and commitment in particular. The third part was to evaluate the partnering approach by its general adaptability to this case, distinctions in its application and matters of general application to a case.
The research process of this thesis showed that partnering can bring a lot advantages to companies when understood in the right way and implemented accordingly. The main conclusions were that partnering could be the ideal strategy for reaching previously unattainable markets. However, dependent on mutual willingness and need and therefore not always easily establish able

Själva disputationsakten börjar kl 13.The aim of the dissertation is to illustrate the potential musical analysis has in the
development of artistic questions with regard to the interpretation and performance
of western art music. The analyses of the dissertation focus on Quartetto
d’Archi, by the Swedish composer Anders Eliasson, and discussions of music as
action, music as emotional expression, music as motion and music as mimesis are
based on the four movements of this string quartet. The methods which are used
are the very ones the project examines, namely the analysis of and the reflection
on the musical work. The author has attempted to gain a deeper knowledge of the
work and its possible interpretations by means of a comparative study of other
music and literature within the theory of music and within philosophical thinking.
The hermeneutics of Hans–Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur are significant
to the thesis. For example, the author claims that Ricoeur’s concept of interpretation,
in which understanding interacts with explanation, and where the interpreter
“appropriates” the text, could be applied to musical interpretation. References
in music, or in artworks in general, to phenomena, actions and concepts
may be explained through the concept of mimesis. Within the doctoral project,
the author has worked with chamber ensembles in the form of seminars at the
Academy of Music and Drama, the University of Gothenburg.
One of the central claims of the thesis is that the musical work opens up to the
possibilities of interpretation through its own way of being, in the way it expresses
itself in its structures. Questions of the significance of music must be posed to the
musical work itself, which answers through different categories of interpretation;
it is by means of these categories of interpretation that the meaning and significance
of a musical work can be interpreted. Four categories are presented: processual
interpretation, narrative interpretation, characterial interpretation and emotional
interpretation
Lone-wolf terrorism is new terrorism phenomenon without a network or group that operates independently. Anders Behring Breivik attack on 22 July 2011 in Oslo and Utøya was one of the most notable lone-wolf terrorism attack, destroying government district buildings in Oslo and the mass shooting of youths on the island of Utøya. Anders Breivik has the main target, political elite of Cultural Marxist/multiculturalist or the Labor Party for allowing Islam to come to Norway and Europe. Author is interested in seeing the targeting process that occurs in the Anders Breivik attack. Research question in this research is "how is the process of targeting the Anders Breivik attack in Norway in 2011?". The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of research. The data collection method used in this study was literature study and secondary data in the form of books, journals, scientific papers, official documents, and online articles. Author uses the hate theory by Robert J. Sternberg which helps to see the relationship between Breivik's hatred and his targeting process. In the discussion chapter, author will discuss the history of Islam and its dynamics in Norway, chronology of the July 22 attacks, life background of Anders Behring Breivik, identify Anders Breivik as terrorism and lone-wolf terrorism, analyze the targeting process, and use theory to see relevance in the Anders Breivik case. From this discussion, it was concluded that, the process of targeting Anders Breivik's attack went through a fairly long and complex process. Many factors influence Anders Breivik to choose his targets and it takes high dedication to sacrifice his life so that his political goals are achieved
Differential expression analysis for sequence count data
*Motivation:* High-throughput nucleotide sequencing provides quantitative readouts in assays for RNA expression (RNA-Seq), protein-DNA binding (ChIP-Seq) or cell counting (barcode sequencing). Statistical inference of differential signal in such data requires estimation of their variability throughout the dynamic range. When the number of replicates is small, error modelling is needed to achieve statistical power.

*Results:* We propose an error model that uses the negative binomial distribution, with variance and mean linked by local regression, to model the null distribution of the count data. The method controls type-I error and provides good detection power.

*Availability:* A free open-source R software package, _DESeq_, is available from the Bioconductor project and from "http://www-huber.embl.de/users/anders/DESeq":http://www-huber.embl.de/users/anders/DESeq
