Economic empowerment through productive zakat is an effort to break free from poverty. Zakat funds are given to be developed and used to support businesses sustainably. This research aims to identify how the zakat economic empowerment model is productive and the impact felt by poor orphan mothers before and after receiving BISA program assistance at LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Surabaya. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to describe the problem. This research uses qualitative research, which is field research with a descriptive approach. The primary data sources used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Meanwhile, secondary data is through the LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Surabaya annual report profile document and data on recipients of BISA program assistance with data analysis using interactive Miles and Huberman, namely the stages of data collection, data reduction, Data Display and conclusions. The results of the research show that the economic empowerment model through the distribution of productive zakat in the BISA program will reduce family economic problems through empowerment activities, namely forming BISA groups, religious formation, distribution of business capital and coaching training. The impact felt by poor orphan mothers is experiencing increased business, being able to pay zakat fitrah, infaq and alms and buying basic commodities.

Countermeasures are efforts carried out to prevent, deal with, or overcome a situation including preventive activities and at the same time trying to improve the behavior of someone who has been found guilty (as a prisoner) in a correctional institution, in other words, efforts to prevent theft can be carried out preventively and repressively. Preventive control has the aim of taking preventive steps against various norm violations, while repressive control has the aim of taking action against norm violations, in order to create a deterrent effect for the perpetrators. Countermeasures is a prevention that is useful to minimize events or actions that have occurred so that these events or actions do not happen again. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the factors causing the occurrence of the crime of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Minas Police Sector, Siak Regency. And what is the modus operandi of overcoming the crime of motor vehicle theft in the legal area of the Minas Police, Siak Regency. The author chose the type of research observational research by means of direct survey writers in order to obtain primary data and secondary data. In collecting data the author interviewed several respondents, namely: the head of the crime department, a member of the police force, and one of the perpetrators. The results of the research that the authors get, there are several factors that cause the perpetrators to commit the crime of motor vehicle theft, namely: internal factors (education, individuals), external factors (economics, environment, global developments). The modus operandi of overcoming the crime of motor vehicle theft are: pretending to borrow/rent a motorbike, using a T key, stalking, following and then blocking potential victims, making credit with false identities, spreading nails on certain roads, looking for a place to live in an area

Manufacturing activities increasingly face demands for ethical governance, worker protection, and environmental responsibility, yet maqāṣid al-sharīʿah is still more frequently operationalized in Islamic finance than in the real sector. This study examines chemical manufacturing operations at PT JM Mutu Utama through a maqāṣid al-sharīʿah review to clarify how operational policies align with maqāṣid objectives and what welfare-related performance implications emerge. A qualitative descriptive–analytical design was employed using semi-structured interviews with five purposively selected informants (QHSE Manager, HR Manager, and three operational staff), field observations, and document analysis (ISO-related certificates, SOPs, and internal reports). Data credibility was strengthened through source and technique triangulation, and analysis followed the Miles–Huberman interactive model. Findings indicate alignment across six maqāṣid dimensions (ḥifẓ al-dīn, al-nafs, al-ʿaql, al-nasl, al-māl, and al-bi’ah), reflected in OHS governance, structured welfare and compensation schemes, competency development, family-supportive policies, and environmental management practices. Welfare-related performance implications appear through enhanced economic security, improved workplace safety and comfort, and strengthened psychosocial well-being. Distributional gaps remain, particularly the limited institutionalization of religious programs for warehouse employees, indicating inclusivity challenges. The study proposes an operational linkage framework connecting manufacturing instruments to maqāṣid objectives to support employee welfare and corporate sustainability in the chemical manufacturing context. Keywords: chemical manufacturing; corporate sustainability; employee welfare; maqāṣid al-sharīʿah; occupational health and safet

Absrtact Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects taught at all levels of education. a model is needed to support students' needs to improve students' understanding of concepts. The CORE learning model with the Student facilitator and explaining strategy is very good in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the CORE model with a student facilitator and explaining strategy on students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasiexperimental approach and a non-equivalent control group design. the author conducted a test of validity, normality, homogeneity and reliability of the test to determine the correctness and suitability of the instrument used. From the calculation results, the results of the test have a valid value and have a normal distribution. For the homogeneity and reliability test, all items were homogeneous. The calculation using the Crombach alpha reliability test was obtained for all items more than 0.05, so all items on the test were appropriate or reliable. It is known that the results of the t-test analysis in the experimental class have an average value (mean) of 63.7 post-test and pre-test of 47.5, the increase in the average result is known to be 16.2 for all test results. In addition, from the results of the percentage of the effectiveness of the model category, the result is a value of 63.75. So, from these results the category of effectiveness of the learning model is included in the category of quite effective. Keywords: Effectiveness, CORE Model and Student Facilitator and Explaining Strategy, Understanding Mathematical Concept
