    Justice- Oriented Service Recovery, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Towards KBZ Bank (Htet Htet Aung, 2025)

    This study attempts to examine the effect of justice-oriented service recovery on customer satisfaction and to analyze the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty toward KBZ Bank. In this study, justice-oriented service recovery includes distributive, procedural and interactional justice. The target population consists of customers who filed at least two complaints, received service recovery from KBZ Bank and continue to use the bank services. A sample of 180 customers who are representing 20% of the target population (900 customers) was selected. A quantitative research method was utilized in this study. The findings indicated that interactional justice and distributive justice had prominently positive effect on customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction was found to moderately drive customer loyalty. Based on these findings, it is suggested that KBZ Bank should focus on strengthening distributive and interactional justice in its service recovery strategies. The bank should enhance the sincerity and personalization of apologies by training frontline staff to offer personalized and empathetic apologies, and sending verbal and written apologies (e.g., email or letter) to reinforce sincerity

    Factors Affecting Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty Towards Divine Restaurant (Htet Aung Wint, 2022)

    The main purposes of this study include exploring the influencing factors on customer satisfaction towards Divine restaurant. It also examines the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty towards Divine restaurant. Structured questionnaires are distributed to collect data from 121 customers who visit to Divine restaurant. Systematic random sampling method is used to collect data. Among five influencing factors (food quality, price, service quality, restaurant location and restaurant atmosphere), four factors (food quality, price, service quality and restaurant atmosphere) have a positive significant effect on customer satisfaction while restaurant location does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Among four significant factors, price is the most effective factor of the customer satisfaction. Findings indicate that customer satisfaction has a positive significant effect on customer loyalty. Divine restaurant should calculate the exact cost of each food and make the competitive prices by adding desired profit. Divine restaurant should always create new menus and tastes of foods by taking survey from the customers. Divine restaurant should systematically record the customer names and arrange for customers who want to sing with live music band. Divine restaurant should continue using low, soft-lit lighting to create an intimate upscale experience

    This study aims to examine the effect of promotional mix on brand equity and to analyze the effect of brand equity on brand resonance of Clear Shampoo by Unilever Myanmar in Yangon. The data are collected from 396 sample respondents of Clear Shampoo users in Botahtaung Township by using simple random sampling method through structured questionnaire. In this study, it is found that advertising, personal selling and public relations have strong effect on brand awareness, and all promotional mix have strong effect on brand associations. Advertising, sale promotions, direct marketing and public relations have strong effect on perceived quality, and sale promotions and direct marketing have strong effect on brand loyalty. This study finds that brand associations, perceived quality and brand loyalty strongly affect brand resonance. The study recommends that the company should increase sale promotions for brand loyalty to achieve strong brand resonance

    The main objective of this study is effect of pricing strategies influence customer purchase decisions at AA Medical Products Ltd., Myanmar leading pharmaceutical distributor. The research employs a quantitative research methodology, collecting survey data from 92 customers selected through simple random sampling at the Taunggyi Branch, Shan State Region. Using a structured questionnaire with Likert-scale measurements, the study evaluates five key pricing approaches: competitive, skimming, discount, psychological, and bundle pricing. Data analysis incorporates descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression techniques to assess the relationships between pricing strategies and consumer purchase decisions. The regression analysis reveals that bundle pricing and skimming pricing significant positive effect on purchase decisions. Among them, bundle pricing is most significant indicating customers strongly prefer value-added product combinations. Skimming pricing also shows a notable impact, suggesting consumers associate higher initial prices with superior quality for innovative medical products. While discount pricing demonstrates a moderate influence, its strong correlation confirms its role in driving immediate purchases through perceived savings. The findings highlight customers decision-making process as being most responsive to strategies that enhance perceived value, with bundle pricing achieving the highest correlation and discount pricing receiving the highest mean rating for effectiveness

    This paper examines the rural road infrastructure development on the socioeconomic conditions in Kungyangon Township, Myanmar. A survey of 150 households from 8 strategically selected village tracts was conducted to evaluate the effects of road improvements on economic opportunities, social interactions, health services, and educational access. The findings reveal significant reductions in travel time, which enhancing access to essential services. The economic effect of road development is evident in increased engagement in small businesses or entrepreneurship, market access, and decreased transportation costs. The social effects include improved visiting, community engagement, and connectivity. Health-related benefits are substantial, with easier-to-reach hospitals or clinics, faster emergency response, and enhanced maternal health services. Educational effects have also improved, with easier access to schools, higher attendance rates, and reduced time it takes to go to school. The study highlights the transformative role of road infrastructure improves the overall quality of life in rural communities, offering valuable insights for future infrastructure projects with the intention of advancing sustainable development in similar contexts

    The study analyzes the satisfaction of Red Cross Volunteers regarding the support given by the Myanmar Red Cross Society. This study has two parts: to examine the humanitarian activities of the Myanmar Red Cross Society and to investigate the factors influencing the satisfaction of Red Cross Volunteers at Myanmar Red Cross Society. The research is conducted by sampling in seven states and regions, namely Ayeyarwady, Bago, Kayin, Magway, Mon, Mandalay and Yangon to gather opinions from 387 voluntary respondents through simple random sampling. This indicates what really keep the volunteers satisfied are factors like motivation for volunteering, relationship of volunteer with other volunteers, training, career development opportunities, work environment and feedback & recognition. High levels of satisfaction are observed in all sectors; however, supportive supervision and management had the lowest average level. This study indicates that greater satisfaction with Red Cross volunteers correlates with enhanced commitment and efficacy in MRCS humanitarian efforts. Nonetheless, specific variables must be cultivated for sustained growth. This study indicates that the management team needs to regard volunteers with dignity and respect, offer effective supervision, and provide resources such leadership training, equipment, insurance, and psychosocial support. Ethically and efficiently implementing these elements will enhance volunteer performance and achieve the organization's long-term goals

    A Study on Knowledge, Attitude and Practices Regarding Preparedness of Earthquake in Risk Area (Case Study: Bago Sagaing Townships)(Htet Htet Aung, 2022)

    Earthquakes often occur and have enormous amounts of destruction and death. The objective of this study is to examine and compare the KAP about earthquake preparedness at Bago and Sagaing areas among the local community. This study is used a cross-sectional comparative study design. A total of 186 respondents is selected by using sample random sampling method. The variables are socio-demographic characteristics and KAP regarding earthquake preparedness. To compare mean KAP scores between two areas, independent t test is used. It is found that knowledge status of the respondents are not significant in both groups. The mean score of attitudes are different in both areas, and the attitude scores are unsatisfactory. Most of the respondents from both areas have good practices, and the practices mean scores of both areas are different in this study. It is recommended that earthquake management training should be promoted in order to enhance the KAP of community members so that the prevention and control of earthquake could be achieved

    The main objective of the study is to analyze the effect of work environment factors on employee performance. The descriptive and analytical research methods are used to meet the objectives of the study. 80 percent of total employees in ICBC Bank were selected by using a sample random sampling method and were interviewed by using research questionnaires instruments for primary data. The secondary data was collected from the literature reviews. The data were analyzed by applying path and regression analysis. According to regression analysis, work environment factors of physical and work life balance positively and significantly effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work environment factors of physical and psychological work environment also positively and significantly affect on job satisfaction. The study recommends that the working conditions of employees should also be improved to motivate employees to work. Moreover, organization (ICBC Bank) should upgrade their efficiency by improving the structure of their work environment especially psychological environment with incentive and rewards for improving employee performance. The study thus recommends banking industry to improve its work environment by ensuring that it is to be comfortable and secured for its employees

    The advancement of financial technology (fintech) and new digital financial services (DFS) provide more options for managing finances, with digital financial literacy (DFL) emphasizing the necessary knowledge and skills to use them effectively. This study aims to investigate the relationship between DFL and financial behaviors (FB) among customers of KBZ Bank in Nyaung Shwe. The study used survey data collected via simple random sampling and regression analysis in SPSS software to determine causal relationships between variables. The findings showed that various aspects of DFL, except for awareness, had a positive relationship with financial behavior. Notably, digital knowledge, practical know-how, and selfprotection strongly influence financial behavior, with self-protection having the most significant effect. It is suggested that financial institutions, government, and educational organizations should collaborate to provide practical training on digital financial tools and services, prioritizing cybersecurity and fraud prevention. Awareness campaigns should incorporate practical advice and support for maximum effectiveness
