No full textInstallatietechniek is van oorsprong ambachtelijk en werd gekenmerkt door een lage graad van organisatie. De installatietechnische branche heeft zich in de vorige eeuw indrukwekkend georganiseerd. Welbekend zijn de UNETO-VNI en de ONRI. Ook heeft de branche zijn tijdschriften op elk niveau en in vele talen. Het vakgebied heeft zijn opleidingen op vmbo, mbo, hbo en post-hbo-niveau. Er zijn ontelbare bedrijfscursussen alle gericht op een installatietechnische specialisatie. Geconcludeerd mag worden dat de installatietechniek een volwassen vakgebied is dat een wo-opleiding waardig is. In de laatste tien jaar is er stevig gewerkt vanuit het vakgebied met onder meer de WOI, aan een autonome opleiding Installatietechniek op universitair niveau aan de TU Eindhoven (TU/e). Het is een moderne opleiding geworden die past binnen de internationale universitaire structuren en gericht is op de uitdagingen van de 21e eeuw. No full textTo further reduce the energy consumption of existing buildings, intelligent building control offers new possibilities. Intelligent Software Agents (ISA) can be implemented at different levels of building automation. Individual agents for individual climate control for each user of the building in combination with feedback on the energy consumption (costs) leads to better acceptance of the individual comfort and a reduction of the energy consumption. ISA’s at room level with knowledge of the actual weather situation and orientation of the windows, improves efficiency of the used available energy resources of a building and this leads to better energy performance at lower costs. The technology was tested in field tests at different office buildings in the Netherlands
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
