No full textDer gegenwärtige Wandel der Arbeit, der mit einer Pluralisierung und Flexibilisierung von Beschäftigungsverhältnissen sowie einem fundamentalen Belastungswandel hin zu vermehrten psychischen Anforderungen einhergeht, wirft die Frage auf, wie Prävention in einer vernetzten, digitalen und zunehmend komplexen Welt gelingen kann. Damit verbunden sind die Fragen, inwiefern gegenwärtige Bestimmungen noch angemessen sind bzw. ob die praktische Umsetzung effektiv ist. Im Zuge dieser Dissertation wurden vier Studien durchgeführt, die sich aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven mit diesen Fragen beschäftigen. Zunächst wurde (1) die Arbeitssituation von ArbeitsmedizinerInnen (AM), Sicherheitsfachkräften (SFK) und ArbeitspsychologInnen (AP) als ExpertInnen für Prävention untersucht. Danach wurde (2) die Sicht zweier weiterer Akteure –ArbeitnehmerInnen (AN) und ArbeitgeberInnen (AG) – auf den ArbeitnehmerInnenschutz und betriebliche Prävention erhoben. In einer weiteren Studie wurde (3) die besondere Arbeits- und Beschäftigungssituation von AP beleuchtet. Die letzte Studie (4) befasste sich mit dem Wandel der Beschäftigung und damit einhergehender prekärer Beschäftigung. Aus den Ergebnissen der vier Studien werden Handlungsempfehlungen abgeleitet. Implikationen für die Wissenschaft, betriebliche Praxis und Gesellschaft werden zusammenfassend im Hinblick auf gesundheits- und persönlichkeitsförderliche Arbeitsbedingungen diskutiert.The current transformation of work, which is accompanied by pluralization and flexibilization of employment relationships and a fundamental change of work loads towards increased mental demands, raises the question of how prevention can succeed in a networked, digital and increasingly complex world. An associated question concerns the extent to which current regulations are still appropriate and whether their practical implementation is effective. In the course of this dissertation, four studies were conducted give answers to these questions from different perspectives. First, the work situation of three experts in prevention (occupational physicians, safety specialists and work psychologists) was examined. Second, the view of two further actors - employees and employers - on occupational safety and health as well as workplace prevention was surveyed. In a third study, the specific work and employment situation of work psychologists was examined. The fourth study dealt with changes of employment relationships and associated risks for precarization. Recommendations for action are derived from the results of the four studies. No full textProfessor Alfredo Falcone and Dr Lisa Salvatore speak to Roshaine Gunawardana, Managing Commissioning Editor: Professor Alfredo Falcone is the Director of the Department of Oncology and the Specialization School at the University Hospital of Pisa, Italy. He trained in Pisa and Genoa, Italy, and has held major positions in Italian oncology since 2000. He currently has more than 300 publications, including papers in peer-reviewed international and national journals, book chapters, and more than 600 abstracts of presentations to international and national conferences. The majority of his papers regard clinical and translational research, with a particular focus on metastatic colorectal cancer. Dr Lisa Salvatore is a medical oncologist in the Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Pisa. She has been an author on about 40 publications in major peer-reviewed publications and has made numerous presentations in national and international conferences. Her main interest is focused on clinical and translational research in metastatic colorectal cancer
