Política de educação permanente de saúde no SUS/CE: elaboração de um instrumento de monitoramento
No full textA educação permanente busca atender as necessidades sociais emergentes das
constantes mudanças mundiais e tem a finalidade de preparar o homem para
desenvolver suas potencialidades individuais para o novo. Ela se consolidou na
saúde como uma política pública de qualificação do atendimento ofertado pelos
profissionais desta área mediante a Resolução nº 335/2003. A Educação
Permanente em Saúde carece, entretanto, da identificação dos efeitos das ações
desenvolvidas, por meio da elaboração de mecanismos de avaliação dos processos,
bem como de mecanismos de monitoramento que possibilitem ordenar e/ou
reordenar cada articulação interinstitucional na política de formação para a área da
saúde. Este trabalho tem como objetivo elaborar um instrumento para o
monitoramento das ações de educação permanente no Sistema Único de Saúde do
Ceará (SUS/CE), mais especificamente, na 8ª Coordenadoria Regional de Saúde
(CRES). Apresenta como objetivos específicos: conhecer o perfil das Secretarias de
Saúde do Estado do Ceará, analisando o relatório disponibilizado pela pesquisa
intitulada de Análise da Política de Educação Permanente implementada pelas
Secretarias Estaduais de Saúde (FRANÇA, 2016); planejar as ações para a
capacitação dos membros da Câmara Técnica de Educação Permanente da 8ª
CRES; capacitar os membros da Câmara Técnica de Educação Permanente da 8ª
CRES de acordo com as necessidades encontradas em relação à educação
permanente; e avaliar o processo de capacitação e o instrumento de monitoramento
elaborado nesta capacitação. Para alcançar os objetivos apontados, optamos pela
pesquisa qualitativa, humanista, mediatizada pela metodologia da pesquisa-ação.
Este estudo permitiu vivenciar na prática a construção coletiva de uma estratégia de
monitoramento das atividades de Educação Permanente em Saúde, bem como
permitiu compreender os anseios dos técnicos de cada município em desenvolver
um monitoramento conciso e padronizado das atividades de educação permanente
na 8ª microrregião de saúde do Ceará.

changes and has the purpose of preparing the man to develop his individual
potentialities for the new. It consolidated in health as a public policy of qualification of
the care offered by the professionals of this area through Resolution nº 335/2003.
However, Permanent Education in Health needs to identify the effects of the actions
developed, through the elaboration of process evaluation mechanisms, as well as
monitoring mechanisms that make it possible to order and/or reorder each
interinstitutional articulation in the training policy for the Health area. This work aims
to elaborate an instrument for the monitoring of the actions of permanent education in
the Unified Health System of Ceará (SUS/CE), more specifically, in the 8th Regional
Health Coordination (CRES). It presents specific objectives: to know the profile of the
Secretariats of Health of the State of Ceará, analyzing the report made available by
the research entitled "Analysis of the Permanent Education Policy implemented by
the State Health Secretariats" (FRANÇA 2016); to plan the actions for the training of
the members of the Technical Chamber of Permanent Education of the 8th CRES; to
train the members of the Technical Chamber of Permanent Education of the 8th
CRES according to the needs found in relation to the permanent education; and
evaluate the training process and the monitoring tool developed in this training. To
reach the stated objectives, we opted for the qualitative, humanistic research,
mediated by the methodology of action research. This study allowed us to experience
in practice the collective construction of a strategy to monitor the activities of
Permanent Education in Health, as well as to understand the expectations of the
technicians of each municipality in developing a concise and standardized monitoring
of the activities of permanent education in the 8th micro-region of health of Ceará.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
