No full textThe article deals with the verbal constructions used in the Lemko dialect for the nomination of the winter festivities rituals. The author`s fieldwork materials and materials from the ethnographic sources are used in the research. The constructions in the Lemko dialect are compared with the related constructions in the Polish and Slovak dialects in order to define similarities and differences between them.У статті розглянуто дієслівні конструкції, які використовуються в лемківських говірках для назви обхідних обрядів зимового циклу. Матеріал, що походить з польових досліджень автора, а також етнографічних джерел, зіставлено з відповідними зворотами сусідніх польських та словацьких діалектів. Визначено паралелі та відмінності у досліджуваних говорах

Dokonano także charakterystyki przygotowanych przez niego prac z zakresu gwar łemkowskich: "Słownika gwar łemkowskich" oraz gramatyki łemkowskich dialektów "Gwary łemkowskie: fonetyka i morfologia". Podkreślono wagę wspomnianych opracowań dla osób zajmujących się gwarami łemkowskimi lub nimi mówiących i potrzebę pełnego wydania obu tekstów.The article deals with a figure of Petro Pyrtej – a teacher coming from Lemko region. His works: “Словник лемківських говірок” and grammar of Lemko dialect "Лемківський діалект: фонетика і морфологія", which have been prepared by him in the field of Lemko dialects, are characterized in the article. The author emphasizes the importance of these studies for investigators of Lemko dialects and for people, who speak them, therefore it’s necessary to publish both these books
The miracle in the language picture of the world of Lemko ethnic group based on the apocryphal carol texts
No full textIn the article there has been made an analysis of the concept "miracle" based on the apocryphal carol texts of Lemko ethnic group. They are the Christmas carol texts which were written on the bounds of folklore and ecclesiastical poetry. The miracles happening around the act of birth of God’s Son are a characteristic feature of these kinds of pieces. The analyzed texts about miracles reveal four ways of understanding the concept of a "miracle" as help to divine forms, a healing, a punishment and a sign. In addition, there have been found some "miracle" similarities in Polish apocryphal carols as well as in some more pieces of this kind from other regions of Ukraine.У статті проаналізовано концепт "чудо" на матеріалі апокрифічних колядок з Лемківщини – мало досліджених текстів різдвяного циклу, які виникли на межі фольклору та духовної поезії. Чудеса, які супроводжують народження Божого Дитяти, є однією з визначних рис саме цього жанру. Виявлено чотири основні аспекти розуміння поняття "чудо" у фольклорній мовній картині світу лемків: чудо, яке рятує божественні постаті; чудо, яке зцілює людину; чудо, яке карає; чудо, яке є знаком. Додатково прослідковано паралелі "чудес", які з’являються в українських апокрифічних колядках сусідніх реґіонів та польських текстах цього ж типу

Nomination of items of Lemko traditional garment : comparative aspect
No full textThe article deals with the analysis of the lexical items denoting parts of the male and female Lemko costume (trousers, skirts etc.). The investigation is based on the names of the elements of the traditional garment fixed in the dialect dictionaries, atlases, in some ethnographic research publications and written down in fieldwork. The origin of the analyzed names is investigated in this paper. There are loans from such languages as Hungarian, Slovak, German, etc. The similarities of the names of clothes item, fixed in the Carpathian Mountains, areas of dwelling of Boiko, Hutsul, Bukovina, Transcarpathian ethnic groups are compared in the article. We noticed some formal and semantic differences in the nomination of the elements of the traditional garments in the region near the San River. There are differences in nomination of the parts of folk costume within the Lemko region, not only between the south and north parts, but also names change from west to east

Relations between South Lemko and Slovak dialects are analyzes on the example of the names of participants of the winter festivities ristuals. The nest part of the article deals with understudied terminology of the folk culture related to the traditional youth meetings for the so called "wechyrky". The parallels are found out just in adjacent Ukrainian and Western Slavic dialect, but also in the ritual cycles and folk genres
