The basis of this his "Self-Move" is the natural need of the child to play. lt happens that the natural
tendency of "Self-Move" and play the child quickly turns into social and cultural activity by the
appropriation of elements of the culture and environment that are born by inducing, in most cases, by
the imposition of adults accepted activities and recognized by them. So we bring the Turnen consisting
of educational elements of great importance for the child's life. Finally it is also necessary to say that
this leaning concept of Turnen, it is not develop in children ability to perform well some or all Turnen
elements as above present, or to perform the activity or Turnen the elements themselves only, but it is,
above all, more effective participation in the subjective interpretation / understanding and participation
The objective this essay is to discuss about important finality of the Physical Education (PE) in scholar
curriculum: the formation of the culture to Time of not Work. We work with the argument that PE should
possibility understand the body culture movement as indispensable condition to a good life. We
understand that the potentiation of this argument will happen when the field itself matures its own
In the human realm limes by technology who else is hit in his being-Belng-in-the-world is the child. Chlldren early gain an amazing ability to handle all the new electronic attractlons, maínly mobile phones and computers. Adults are delighted with this and increasingly encourage the unrestricted use of such equipment for children ever earlier ages. There are already indications that children 3 years old can talk to their friends (as) by email or messages by cell phones. This is all the knowledge of parents and teachers in almost all over the world, but where is the need that every child has to play and Self move? This concern seems to still not sufflciently touched the attention of Physical Education professionals, at Ieast in our country, Brazil. There is a very small number of research on the subject and most publications in the area of the subject child, game development still refer more to influencers aspects to "good" child development when engaging with practice games and play. Are proposals to develop the child for a better future, as does the school also exists to develop the child for the future world of adults. Thus, cognitive aspects are usually highlighted in the development factors. We will present this work results of research of a team of masters and doctoral students with Prof. advisor Elenor Kunz already for more than five years has been intensifying research on the subject child: his play and-move.CIEC - Centro de Investigação em Estudos da Criança, IE, UMinho (UI 317 da FCT), PortugalFundos Nacionais através da FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia) e cofinanciado pelo Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (FEDER) através do COMPETE 2020 – Programa Operacional Competitividade e Internacionalização (POCI) no âmbito do CIEC (Centro de Investigação em Estudos da Criança, da Universidade do Minho) com a referência POCI-01-0145-FEDER-00756
A criança, o brincar e a cultura lúdica: algumas reflexões
The aim of this paper is to dlscuss the production of children's play culture, to consider children that transform the space in playing and constantly attribute meanings to their play. The contributions are relevant in the field of philosophy scholars, psychology and sociology, for the universe that surrounds the child, the games, the plays and children's culture. Authors who deal with these issues in the last century, merit should be highlighted by the knowledge produced, such as: Benjamin, Bruner, Froebel, Piaget and Vygotsky. The reflections are present turn to lhe most recent studies of Gilles Brougère (2002, 2010), sociologist who has been engaged over the past few years, to discussphenomena of contemporary ludic culture, lending a rational sense to the construction of play in relation to other authors looking play as deep natural manifestation, as we find, for example, in Benjamin and Kunz. This work, qualitative nature, is constructed from a literature review and is part of a chapter of the thesis entitled "The child, the media and the (new) motor identities in the Physlcal Education" developed in the PhD prograrn in Child Studies at the Uriiversity of Minho. You need to look at the play, not only by a lens. The play presumes various manifestation fields and analysis. Among them stand opposite and complementary fields such as: i) the play of children as pre-reflexive manifestation, phenomenologicai, natural; ii) the play of children as rational construction, standardized, model — where one learns to play; iii) lhe combination of these two fields we might raise a third field - hermeneutic - that makes a dialogue between thes two worlds — the experienced and thoughtCIEC - Centro de Investigação em Estudos da Criança, IE, UMinho (UI 317 da FCT), PortugalFundos Nacionais através da FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia) e cofinanciado pelo Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (FEDER) através do COMPETE 2020 – Programa Operacional Competitividade e Internacionalização (POCI) no âmbito do CIEC (Centro de Investigação em Estudos da Criança, da Universidade do Minho) com a referência POCI-01-0145-FEDER-00756
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
