A Comparative Study of Speech Production between Auditory and Visual Learners at Sixth Semester of English Education Department of Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar
The finding of the resesarch showed that there was a significant difference
between learners’ auditory learners and visual learners. The mean score of
auditory learners’ test (620.90) in the test was higher than the mean score of
visual learners’ test (561.00) in the test
Abstract. In the course of this research, the author encountered issues with the monitoring facility of the flight navigation, specifically the ADRACS in the Thales ILS system. Technicians often receive reports from Air Traffic Control (ATC) first, who in turn receive information from pilots indicating problems with the Instrument Landing System (ILS). This situation arises due to the Remote Control Monitoring System (RCMS) equipment for the ILS being located in the technician's room. When technicians are not present in the room, particularly when they are working elsewhere, they do not receive direct notifications if the ILS system alarms. This study employs the Research and Development method. The solution to this issue involves developing software capable of providing flexible and real-time information to technicians wherever they may be. The aim is for technicians to be informed promptly if equipment alarms occur, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of navigation equipment maintenance and repai
Shaykh Al-Zamakhshary\u27s Interpretation of Ru\u27yatullah (Study of Interpretation of Al-Qur\u27an Surah Al-Qiyamah Verses 22-23 in Kitab Al-Kasysyaf)
This study aims to discuss how the interpretation of Al-Zamakhshary, a great scholar of the Mu\u27tazilah school, on how to see Allah contained in Qs. al-Qiyamah/75: 22-23 with reference to his tafsir Al-Kasysyaf. Seeing is called by the term Ru\u27yatullah. Ru\u27yah comes from the word رأ ى – يرى – رأ ي – رأية which means to see, to be sure, to suppose, and to think. What is meant by seeing here is seeing Him in the afterlife. The author uses qualitative research methods in this study, using the type of library reasearch with a descriptive approach. Therefore, the author examines the meaning and interpretation of the verses of ru\u27yatullah. This is done through the tahlili method, which is used to analyze data related to al-Zamakhshary\u27s interpretation of ru\u27yatullah in surah al-Qiyamah verses 21-22. In this study the author found that al-Zamakhshary negates Ru\u27yatullah (seeing Allah) in the afterlife. Al-Zamakhshary ta\u27wil-kan the word ناظر ة in surah al-Qiyamah verse 23, with the meaning of "al-intizar", so the meaning of the verse above is waiting for rewards and enjoyment from Allah, not seeing Allah in the hereafter
Bird Detection System Design at The Airport Using Artificial Intelligence
Bird strike is a process of crashing between bird and airplane which occurs in flight phase. Based on data, there are 40 times bird strike occurs every day (FAA, 2019). There are lot of research that already conducted to decrease number of birds at the airport. But it is not given significant changes. Hence, it is needed a model that can detect bird at the airport so that we can decrease the number of birds. Study already conducted by comparing motion detection with object detection and filter which can be used to improve detection quality. Model already developed using YOLOv4 object detection with 71.89% mean average precision. It is expected that object detection can be developed to become a bird repellent system in the futur
Formulation of Bioethanol From Pineaple Skin Waste and Applicated as Wax Inhibitors
The problem of paraffin wax deposition is one of the problems that occurs in the oil industry which causes blockages during the oil production process. To prevent this problem, you can use a chemical method is injecting wax inhibitors. one of the effective wax inhibitors is solvent. So this paper aims to produce bioethanol solvent through biomass engineering, namely pineapple skin waste. For the production of bioethanol through several methods, namely pretreatment, hydrolysis which aims to convert cellulose into glucose with HCl acid, fermentation which aims to convert glucose into bioethanol with the help of saccaromyces cerevisiae yeast and finally distillation. The result in the hydrolysis process with concentrations of HCl 1M, 2M, 3M, 4M and 5M produces glucose 7 Brix, 16 Brix, 20 Brix, 21 Brix and 24 Brix. And with variations in heating time of 1 hour to 5 hours, the optimum glucose was obtained at 3 hours of 24 Brix. The results of fermentation with a variation of 1 day to 6 days, the optimum bioethanol content in fermentation for 3 days is 18%. 18% bioethanol is mixed into waxy crude oil with a pour point value of 43°C, and the result is able to reduce the pour point is 3°C. To increase the decrease in the pour point of bioethanol, it is blend with a toluene, and the result is to reduce the pour point value by 8°C. So it can be concluded that mixing bioethanol and toluene as a solvent can inhibit paraffin wax depositio
