No full textPenelitian ini berjudul “ANALISIS TEKNIK PERMAINAN GITAR TIM HENSON PADA KARYA G.O.A.T OLEh POLYPHIA” . penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja teknik-teknik permainan gitar Tim Henson pada karya G.O.A.T dan bagaimana keragaman warna bunyi pada permainan gitar pada permainan gitar Tim Henson di karya G.O.A.T diolah. Polyphia adalah band rock instrumental berasal dari amerika serikat yang dibentuk pada tahun 2011. Musik-musik polyphia mengandung banyak unsur-unsur dari genre lain seperti EDM dan Hip-Hop atau juga Trap. Tim Henson merupakan gitaris sekaligus penulis utama Polyphia. Tim Henson dalam proses menulis karya, G.O.A.T terinsipirasi dari subgenre Hip-Hop yaitu trap. Dalam karya G.O.A.T, berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian, permainan gitar Tim Henson menggunakan beragam teknik yang juga menghasilkan keragaman dalam warna bunyi. Selain dari teknik, keragaman warna bunyi juga dihasilkan melalui pemilihan equipment yang dipakai dan juga pada proses editing dalam produksi.
