The photos available in this data collection were taken in the context of the ERC Consolidator Grant DECOR (PI Annette Haug). Some subprojects were co-funded by the Excellence Cluster ROOTS. The project´s focus was on decorative principles in Late Republican and Early Imperial Italy (2nd century BC to 1st century AD), the subjects then focused mainly on Pompeii as a case study. The photos are organised according to authors/workpackages, and within the largest photo collection (Haug) according to functional context - and then, in the case of houses and tabernae, according to the modern address (Regio, Insula, entrance)
