Jsou zde nastíněny příčiny a průběh shromáždění, jež bylo svoláno kvůli papežskému schizmatu, které sužovalo církev od roku 1378, a také pro vyřešení problémů českých reformistů v čele s Janem Husem a wycliffismu. Autor se zaměřuje také na důsledky koncilu pro další historický vývoj v katolické církvi, Svaté říši římské a českých zemích, které ovlivnily průběh dějin.ObhájenoBachelor Thesis is devoted to Council of Constance, which took place in 1414-1418. Here are outlined the causes and course of the assembly, which was convened for the papal schism, which plagued the church since 1378, and also to solve the problems of the Czech reformists led by Jan Hus and wycliffism. The author also focuses on the implications of the council for further historical development in the Catholic church, Holy Roman Empire and Czech Kingdom, which influenced the course of history
Viral etiology in hospitalized children with acute lower respiratory tract infection
No full textThis study was performed to investigate the viral etiological agents, age distribution and clinical manifestations of lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI) in hospitalized children. The viral etiology and clinical findings in 147 children (1 month to 5 years of age) hospitalized with acute LRTI were evaluated. Cell culture was used for isolation of influenza viruses and direct fluorescent antibody assay for parainfluenza viruses (PIVs), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and adenoviruses (ADVs). Reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction was employed for human metapneumovirus (hMPV). One hundred and six of all patients (72.1%) were male, and 116 children (79.8%) were years. A viral etiology was detected in 54 patients (36.7%). RSV was the most frequently isolated (30 patients, 55.6%), and PIV (27.8%), hMPV (13%), influenza-A (9.3%), and ADV (5.6%) were also shown. Dual infection was detected in six patients. There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups (with isolated virus or no known viral etiology) with respect to symptoms, clinical findings, laboratory work-up, or radiological data. Length of hospital stay was also not different. Determination of the etiology of acute LRTI in children less than 5 years of age seems impossible without performing virological work-up, whether viral or nonviral in origin
The formation of gradient nanostructured medium carbon steel via mild, moderate, and severe ultrasonic nanocrystal surface modification options: Assessment on wear and friction performance
No full textIn this study, the effect of UNSM applied under different static loads on the microstructure and friction-wear performance were detected. A significant correlation was noticed between the increase of the static load and nanocrystalline layer thickness. Both nanocrystallization layer and deformation depth increased significantly after UNSM. The grain size was measured under 500 nm for M series and 100 nm for O and S series of UNSM static loads. Surface integrity improved remarkably after mild (M) and moderate (O) UNSM (Ra values are 0.25 mu m and 0.7 mu m, respectively). The roughness was achieved approximately under 1 mu m for M and O types and 2 mu m for S types of operations. A 65% increase in hardness emerged by severe UNSM with a surface hardness of approximately 375-430 HV.
