The measurement of how PVs are reflected over local social media accounts is of great importance. Studies in the relevant literature are mainly focusing on the benefits of social media presence, drivers, or barriers or attitudes and expectations on social media presence. We, in this study, focus on the evaluation of whether and how selected PVs are reflected through social media accounts of metropolitan municipalities (MMs) in Turkey. By taking participation, collaboration, and transparency as the main PVs, we have formed an evaluation metric composed of five sub-criteria for each determinant. With the help of seven public administration experts holding a Ph.D. degree to form an expert graded scheme by using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we have employed a content analysis over Twitter accounts of 30 Turkish MMs using this expert graded scheme. We have found that Turkish MMs were found not to grasp the valuation of the selected PVs since most seem to fail to reflect them over their social media accounts to the full extent possible. Moreover, many Turkish MMs seem to have violated privacy and personal data
EVALUATION OF TURKISH ORIGIN TEXTILE PRODUCTS IMAGE WITH FUZZY LOGIC
In this study, the image of Turkish origin textile products in the UK was evaluated with fuzzy set theory based on the analysis of Denizli, Turkey sample. The base finding is that "subcontract product" image is very high. As a result of calculations based on this image factor, it was determined that towel and bed linen product groups stand out. The results of ideal solution results suggest that Denizli exporters are to focus on common brand and retailing and that "original" image of their products is to be brought forth by spreading Denizli hand woven textile products
Shy Customers Vs Non Shy Customers: Who Does Love More Online Shopping?
Nowadays, almost every market has an intense competition environment. Naturally, in order to survive in such an environment, decision maker must understand accurately their costumer wants and needs, even must generate individual solutions, not only massive. The way to understand costumers is through determining the factors well that affect purchasing decision-making of costumers. An emotion that can directly affect human behaviour such as shyness is a question mark on the frame of consumer behaviour, although purchasing decision-making process is examined with many different approaches. The aim of this study is to illuminate whether shyness has an effect on online purchasing decision-making process or not. In the literature, although a lot of studies have been done about shyness in different fields, a sufficient level of study was not encountered about shyness in the field of marketing. The fact that shyness has not been addressed in terms of marketing, especially on the internet, reveals the importance of this study
The Importance of Environmental Attitudes Towards Products for Sustainability and Business Strategies
In green marketing, it is crucial for businesses to decide first to whether the environmental benefits of the product or its individual benefits should be emphasized. Knowing the environmental behaviors of those who prefer these products in their daily lives will also help to classify the consumers. In this research, the relationship between ecocentric and anthropocentric attitudes towards products, environmental behavior, eco-brand awareness, and eco-brand loyalty have been investigated in order to highlight the aforementioned issues. These relationships have been tested with a structural equation model. Within the scope of the research, the questionnaire method was used as the data collection method. The sample of the research consists of teacher candidates. The results show that there is a positive relationship between ecocentric attitude towards products and environmental behavior and no statistically significant relationship between anthropocentric attitude and environmental behavior. In addition, there was a positive relationship between environmental behavior and brand awareness; and brand awareness and brand loyalty
Is There any Difference Between the Results of the Survey Marked by the Interviewer and the Respondent?
Systematic errors can significantly affect the results of research. Interviewer errors and respondents (participants) errors constitute a large portion of systematic error sources. The purpose of this study is to show whether there is a difference between the results of the questionnaire marked by the respondent and the results of the questionnaire marked by the interviewer. For this purpose, the responses of 150 participants to the questionnaire were compared and analyzed. The findings of the analyze reveal that there is a difference between the results of the questionnaire marked by the interviewer and the results of the questionnaire marked by the respondent. Another result is that the reliability of the questionnaire data marked by the interviewer is lower than other group. This study is part of a research carried out with the support of The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK – 115K155) and the results provide preliminary information

At the end of the study, the characteristics of the thermal hotels website design quality are discussed via AHP, and some recommendations are given to designers, hotel managers and public institutions responsible for health institutions related to thermal hotel website design requirements and standards
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Does a difference in the number of response categories change the results for ACSI in the mobile phone sector?
This study aims to contribute to making customer satisfaction measurement more efficient in the mobile phone sector. For this purpose, data were collected from 3,342 mobile phone users living in five different cities in Turkey. A self-administered questionnaire was used in this study. Five different surveys were used, with the same questions but with different categories of response (4-, 5-, 6-, 7-, and 10-point scales). The research instrument items were adapted from the American customer satisfaction index (ACSI). With the dataset of each response category, the models were installed and subsequently compared. The originality of the study is due to the comparison of the models created with different datasets. According to the findings obtained, different response categories did not make a considerable difference in the measurement of customer satisfaction.C1 [Kalburan, Cetin] Pamukkale Univ, Iktisadi ; Mari Bilimler Fak, Kinikli Kampusu, TR-20070 Pamukkale Denizli, Turkey.[Hasiloglu, Selcuk Burak] Pamukkale Univ, Iktisadi ; Mari Bilimler Fak, Dept Management Informat Syst, Kinikli Kampusu, TR-20070 Pamukkale Denizli, Turkey.[Bardakci, Ahmet] Pamukkale Univ, Iktisadi ; Mari Bilimler Fak, Dept Business, Kinikli Kampusu, TR-20070 Pamukkale Denizli, Turkey
