Electronic Jam / Abd Rahim Hashim and Meor Hussein Mat Ali
We are developing an Electronic Jam circuit. This jam circuit can be used in quiz contests wherein any participant who pressed his button or switch before the other contestants, get the first chance to answer a question. There have a limit where only 8 contestants maximum can participated or 1-8 participants recommended not more than that. The display will show the number of the contestant who pressing his/ her button before the others from the description of the game, several the major subsystems are needed where one-digit on display for the rolling digit and the pay off, the display will show the contestant who pressed his button. At the same time, the buzzer will also sound.
Nowadays, quiz contest become popular such we seen it from electronic media. In developing this project, we have to improving our technique to show the necessary output to prove the function of it. This project does not have much problem to make because only used simple electronic device. The techniques for this project are not very complex, all basic components are easy to find and very cheap cost

The right of compensation to the HIV victim in Malaysia: an analysis from the case of Abd Rahim bin Abd Rahman v public prosecutor
In a criminal trial, the stature of the victim is only limited to being a witness or purveyor of evidence. Issues concerning the victim of a crime normally concern the punishment of criminals. Inevitably, the victim’s interest as the aggrieved party has not been properly taken care of. For instance, the court in seeking justice would award the appropriate punishments or sentences to the accused whilst neglecting or overlooking the
aspect of ‘curing’ or ‘relieving’ the victim’s pain and suffering from the criminal act. In
relation to HIV transmission in sexual offences, one may suffer a lifetime ‘pain’ mentally,
physically and emotionally. In addition, economically one would further have to bear medical costs and expenses. Thus, the court in carrying out justice may both compensate the victim and punish the offender simultaneously. In line with the above scenario, this paper seeks to
analyse the case of Abd Rahim Bin Abd Rahaman v Public Prosecutor with regard to the Court’s effort in affirming the seriousness of the HIV transmission in sexual offences. The finding shows that section 426 of the Criminal Procedure Code allows the court to make an order for the payment of compensation to the victims subject to the application made by the Public Prosecutor. The case of Abd Rahim however did not discuss the issue of compensation in depth. As a concluding suggestion, the Public Prosecutor in assisting the Court to delivering justice should also address the issue of compensating the victim by invoking
section 426 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Act 593)

peralatan pelaksana strategik (strategic enabling tools) (Jaafar, 2004).
Lebuhraya Koridor Multimedia (Multimedia Super Corridor, MSC) dilaksanakan.
The factors shaping undergraduates' interests towards business / Abdul Rashid Abd Rahim and Aedrean Anthony
Involving in business requires students to be responsible to think towards their future. It giving them options not too depends on limited employments opportunity in firms (Amaran, 2015). Therefore, students will find this an alternative upon their graduation which helps in unemployment burdens. According to (Hashim, Zainol, & Shukory, 2008) early research shown significant relationship between newly establish business with student's performance in education and high chance of potential success in business to educated entrepreneur. As a result, student's performances affect the motivation factors in business setting. Becoming a successful entrepreneur require more than motivation and good academic preferences. It is a process of understanding and ability of a person to identify opportunity of a potential business. Moreover, ideas creation and innovation need to be promising in order products can be commercialised to customer. Therefore, all of the materials on what students have learned must be polish better in building strong foundation of a business. It was essential elements of this study to know readiness and what kind of setting student most prefer. Entrepreneurship has been seen as method to increase economic growth thus there are efforts done by countries to enhance this field by promoting entrepreneurship and encourage activities matter particularly among youth. (Hashim, Zainol, & Shukory, 2008). This study attempts to determine involvement and awareness of undergraduate student of Sabah in engaging to business activities. Hence, it rectify level of participation by undergraduate student that significance for future references. As argued by (Keat & Ahmad, 2012) students' attitude towards business ownership listed major obstacles toward the entrepreneurship process namely; lack of experience or lack of finance in which delay the path towards university students preferred future occupation choice. Therefore, any challenges endured by the undergraduate students must be known particularly in the scope of this study to explain necessary measures to overcome any dragging elements for the students. As a result, steps taken evaluate process into better projection of implementation
Teachers' acquaintance with the developmental of pre-school students: a pilot study
Development of a child’s learning begins at home. Parents are the main person to start and to help the physical, social, emotional, language skills and cognitive development of children (Children, 2005; Saturia Amiruddin, Sombuling, & Kiong, 2014; (Nor Hashimah Hashim & Yahya Che Lah, 2007). The developments of these five aspects in accordance with nature are by genes and environment. Psychologists have recognized that no individual has the same rate of growth (Aliza Ali, Sharifah Nor Puteh, & Zamri Mahamod, 2013; Atan Long, 1980; Azizi Yahaya, Halimah Ma’alip, & Zuhaimy Ismail, 2012; Nor Hashimah Hashim & Yahya Che Lah, 2007). (Shahrin Hashim & Yusof Boon, 2008) enhances that the development of each individual is unique and also have stages. Although there development are the same but they have the different levels from each other based on genetic, environment, education and nutrition
Evaluation of turbulence models for the prediction of flow properties in vegetated channels
The performance of turbulence models was investigated to predict the flow and turbulence features of the vegetated channel using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The Ansys Fluent, CFD software was implemented for the numerical studies. The flow was three-dimensional, incompressible, steady, and turbulent. Ten turbulence models, provided by Ansys Fluent, were implemented for the comparative study. The numerical model was validated against an experimental study conducted in the literature. The numerical studies show that the Renormalization group k-ϵ model is the most successful model for predicting the flow characteristics of the vegetated channel with a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value of 0.2752. At the same time, the Reynolds Stress Model gives the least successful predictive performance, indicated by an RMSE value of 0.4302. Moreover, the Spalart-Allmaras (S-A) model offers the shortest computation time with a value of 6652.393 s, whereas the Shear Stress Transport k-ω model proves to be the most time-consuming with a value of 11 952.219 s. The velocity of water flow in a channel is not uniform as it is slower at the surface of leaves and faster in the free zones. The maximum velocity is observed in the middle section of the channel, below the leaf, and between the roots with the value of u = 0.1158 m/s. Furthermore, the characteristics of turbulence in a channel are influenced by several factors such as channel geometry, flow velocity, and vegetation distribution. As a result, the presence of vegetation in a channel affects the flow and turbulence characteristics of the water significantly. © 2024 Author(s)
Indefensible Spaces
Indefensible Spaces examines the policing of housing through the story of Black community building in the Antelope Valley, Los Angeles County’s northernmost outpost. Tracing its evolution from a segregated postwar suburb to a destination for those priced, policed, and evicted out of Los Angeles, Rahim Kurwa tells the story of how the Antelope Valley resisted Black migration through the policing of subsidized housing—and how Black tenants and organizers fought back. This book sheds light on how the nation’s policing and housing crises intersect, offering powerful lessons for achieving housing justice across the country.
“With analytical acumen and literary panache worthy of the late Mike Davis, Rahim Kurwa reveals how housing vouchers promising to liberate impoverished residents from prison‑like projects actually fueled even greater anti‑Black police repression—but like fugitives from the antebellum South, Antelope Valley tenants organized, resisted, and demanded their right to the suburb.” — ROBIN D. G. KELLEY, author of Freedom Dreams: The Black Radical Imagination
“A sociological treat.” — EDUARDO BONILLA‑SILVA, author of Racism without Racists: Color‑Blind Racism and the Persistence of Racial Inequality in America
“Lucid, evocative, and a pleasure to read.” — DAANIKA GORDON, author of Policing the Racial Divide: Urban Growth Politics and the Remaking of Segregation
“Deeply researched and compelling.” — EVA ROSEN, author of The Voucher Promise: “Section 8” and the Fate of an American Neighborhood
“Kurwa’s theoretical contributions will inspire scholarship for many years to come.” — ELIZABETH KORVER‑GLENN, coauthor of A Good Reputation: How Residents Fight for an American Barrio
“Sobering but inspiring, this is ultimately a hopeful text: despite the disadvantages they face, Antelope Valley tenants have come together and set a bold vision for housing justice.” — MONICA BELL, Yale Universit
