Pendidikan Remaja Dalam Pusat Pemulihan Mencari Yang Ditinggalkan.
Awareness on conservation of mangrove among the community of Kuala Sepetang Taiping, Perak / Nur Idzhainee Hashim, Azman A Rahman and Nor Hanisah Mohd Hashim
The State of Perak is fortunate to be endowed with such a unique coastal heritage, “The Matang Mangrove”. The area covers approximately 40,466 hectares of Mangrove Swamp Forest in the Larut, Matang and Kerian District and managed by the Perak Forestry Department since 1904. It has been acclaimed to be one of the best-managed mangrove forests in the world. Mangrove forest is one of the most productive and biodiversity wetlands on earth. These unique coastal tropical forests are among the most threatened habitats in the world and they are naturally grown and have less economic value, therefore, people and the community ignored the crucial role played by the forest. Study on the exploitation of mangrove ecosystem conservation at Kuala Sepetang, Taiping Perak found that few people from the area lack of knowledge and information of the crucial role played by the forest. They are not guilty of disturbing the mangrove forest with so many activities such as exploitation for aquaculture, industrial projects, cultivation, fire wood, charcoal, piling log, and so on without realizing that these activities if continued without efficient management and action, sooner or later will disappearing the mangrove ecosystems. Disappointingly, some respondents disagreed to contribute some amount of money to support the government effort to preserve the mangrove forest thus, the authority and the government need to increase the awareness among the communities and as a whole by doing promotion and educate the people regarding the crucial of the mangrove forest to the nature must be put in syllabus as a national agenda. So that citizens will appreciate of preserving its continual functions for forestry purposes regardless the gender, ethnics, age and level of education. Therefore, the study aims are to evaluate the awareness on conservation of these precious intertidal forests among the community for the benefits of all
Maintenance management of aircraft component in component overhaul Department of Masa Sdn.Bhd / Mohd. Nor Azman Md. Zin and Anuar Abdullah Hashim
Over the past twenty years aircraft maintenance has changed more so than other maintenance management discipline. The changes are due to a huge increase in the number of aircraft types which must be maintained throughout the world, much more complex designs, new maintenance techniques and changing views of maintenance organization and responsibilities. Aircraft maintenance is also responding to changing expectations. These include a rapidly growing awareness of the extent to which component failures affects safety and other consequences the environment, a growing awareness of the connection between maintenance and product quality and increasing pressure to achieve high plant availability and to contain costs
Comparative studies of elastic properties of commercial-type woods / Azman Kasim, Amran Shafie and Azhan Hashim @ Ismail
Wood-based industries has been extremely expanded in develop country like Malaysia as one of the major contribution to the economic growth of the country. Since wood has become popular in our daily usage, one should conscious about the quality of the wood as natural raw materials. Talking about the quality of woods normally we are talking about the type of woods been used. Conventionally, to identify the quality of wood people look at the prices of the woods, which high in price indicated the woods are in a good quality. Scientifically, by going through certain high technological approach, the quality of woods could be identified. In this project, the ultrasonic technology has been used to identify the quality of commercial-type woods by determine the elastic properties of the woods. Ultrasonic measurement technique is apart of nondestructive testing without damaging the targeted samples. Many papers have been discussed nor published regarding the non-destructive testing of woods and forest product industries previously. The objective of the project is to estimate the elastic properties of the selective commercial woods in collaborations with Woods Technology Department, UiTM Pahang. The selected commercial woods have been used are Kempas (Koompadia malaccensis), Chengal (Neobalanocarpus heimii), Tembusu (Fagraca Fragrans), Simpoh {Dillenia Spp.), Rubberwood (HeveaBrasiliensis) and Yellow Meranti (Shorea Spp.). Thus, the data of elasticity could estimate the quality of woods macroscopically
Pengelasan e-mel menggunakan kaedah perambat balik
E-mail is one of the most popular communication services nowadays. E-mail usage is very cost-effective and time saving for information dissemination. However, as the spamming grows, e-mail usage has created problems to the users, organizations and the Internet service providers. Spam e-mails have resulted in lower productivity and caused a big loss to bandwidth usage and storage capacity. Hence, a study was conducted to filter the spam e-mails using the back-propagation neural network technique. The data for the study was collected from the author\u27s personal e-mail messages for almost about 6 months. Text from the e-mail contents are used to train the neural network components. The text are extracted using some data pre-processing mecha- nismsstopword discarding, stemming, e-mail word matrices building and word weighting. The stemming process uses the Porter algorithm for English words and Fatimah algorithm for Bahasa Malaysia words. Term weighting assignment is made using TF-IDF and chi-square method to select words for neural network training set. The term weighting for the TF-IDF is transformed to values between 0 and 1 using min-max normalization as the input to the neural network. The best selection model is performed based upon the most precise prediction of the training set of the neural network. From the result of the experiments of spam e-mail filtering, it shows that the combination of TF-IDF weighting and chi-square method yields a satisfactory prediction behavior
Arendelle puff / Khairul Hadi Hashim ... [et al.]
ARENDELLE PUFF ENTERPRISE is a company focuses on food production in Malaysia. Puff was very well known back then but now its popularity is kind of fading away from its own domain, which is our country. So the idea of getting this puff back on the top of the list of our very well-known foods came after Catherine Chin Wan Ping Coombes had won the MasterChef UK 2014 with our local food. We have three fillings as the option for our customers to choose which are meatball as the main filling, chicken and otak-otak. The bigger shape of our puffs and the combination of the westerns would make it as our signature. The company is not only providing frozen puff, we also cook our puff to be serving to the customer. The company is concentrating on customers satisfactions. We will provide our customers with all the needs they need. We also attract customers from the youngest age to the oldest age. We will expect that our business will developed in the near future because our puff is an extraordinar
Penternakan Belut Secara Komersil : Eel World / Muhd. Hairul Azman Abas...
Invariant behavioural based discrimination for individual representation
Writer identification based on cursive words is one of the extensive behavioural biometric that has involved many researchers to work in. Recently, its main idea is in forensic investigation and biometric analysis as such the handwriting style can be used as individual behavioural adaptation for authenticating an author. In this study, a novel approach of presenting cursive features of authors is presented. The invariants-based discriminability of the features is proposed by discretizing the moment features of each writer using biometric invariant discretization cutting point (BIDCP). BIDCP is introduced for features perseverance to obtain better individual representations and discriminations. Our experiments have revealed that by using the proposed method, the authorship identification based on cursive words is significantly increased with an average identification rate of 99.80%
Ensemble Method for Mobile Malware Detection using N-Gram Sequences of System Calls
Mobile device has become an essential tool among the community across the globe and has turned into a necessity in daily life. An extensive usage of mobile devices for everyday life tasks such as online banking, online shopping and exchanging e-mails has enable mobile devices to become data storage for users. The data stored in these mobile devices can contain sensitive and critical information to the users. Hence, making mobile devices as the prime target for cybercriminal. To date, Android based mobile devices is one of the mobile devices that are dominating the phone market. Moreover, the ease of use and open-source feature has made Android based mobile devices popular. However, the widely used Android mobile devices has encourage malware author to write malicious application. In a short duration of time mobile malware has rapidly evolve and have the capability to bypass signature detection approach which requires a constant signature update to detect mobile malware. To overcome this drawback an anomaly detection approach can be used to mitigate this issue. Yet, using a single classifier in an anomaly detection approach will not improve the classification detection performance. Based on this reason, this research formulates an ensemble classification method of different n-gram system call sequence features to improve the accuracy of mobile malware detection. This research proposes n-number of classifier models for each different n-gram sequence call feature. The probability output of each classifier is then combined to produce a better classification performance which is better compared to a single classifier
