    Secara keseluruhan, latihan ilmiah ini adalah mengenai masyarakat tani dan hubungannya dengan agensi pembangunan luar bandar. Dengan kata lain, kajian ini merupakan satu tinjauan mengenai rancangan tanam semula getah yang dianjurkan oleh RISDA dalam usahanya menaik taraf sosio-ekonomi pekebun kecil getah. Bab I menghuraikan teknik-teknik dan metodologi yang digunakan semasa menjalankan latihan ilmiah. Bab II membincangkan secara umum konsep-konsep kemiskinan dan pembangunan yang sering digunakan dalam kajian-kajian mengenai sosio-ekonomi masyarakat luarbandar. Bab III mengenai RISDA Masjid Tanah sebagai agensi pembangunan luarbandar dan pencapaiannya secara ringkas. Bab IV melihat sosio-ekonomi pekebun kecil getah di kawasan-kawasan kajian. Tumpuan diberikan kepada para peserta yang menyertai rancangan tanam semula. Bab V membincangkan dengan terperinci bagaimana suatu rancangan tanam semula getah itu dilaksanakan. Juga diterangkan dalam bab ini semua syarat dan perkara-perkara yang berkaitan dengan rancangan tanam semula. Bab VI mengemukakan masalah tanam semula yang timbul di kalangan pekebun kecil dan RISDA. Juga didedahkan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kegagalan sesuatu projek rancangan tanam semula. Bab VII iaitu bab terakhir merupakan kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari kajian. Di dalam bab ini juga kesempatan diambil untuk mengemukan cadangan-cadangan untuk tindakan selanjutnya

    Hz. Peygamber’in vefatından sonraki ilk asır siyasî, askerî alanlarda bazı önemli olaylar ve bu olaylarda rol almış önemli simalarla temayüz etmektedir. Muhtâr b. Ebû Ubeyd es-Sekafî (ö. 67/687) Kerbelâ hadisesinden sonra öne çıkan bu isimlerden bir tanesidir. İki yıla yakın süre Kûfe’de Kerbelâ hadisesinde öldürülenlerin intikamı alma söylemi ile iktidar sahibi olmuştur. Kendisinin Ehl-i Beyt ya da Benî Hâşim’le doğrudan bir akrabalık bağı olmamasına rağmen, onlardan bazı isimleri söylemlerinde çokça dillendirmek suretiyle siyasî arenada kendisine yer bulmaya çalışmıştır. Onun tarih sahnesinde önemli roller almaya başlamasından önce de Hz. Ali (ö. 40/661), Hz. Hasan (ö. 49/669) ve Hz. Hüseyin (ö. 61/680) gibi Ehl-i Beyt’in önemli simaları ile zaman zaman aynı kareye girdiği görülmektedir. Ali b. Hüseyin b. Ali (ö. 94/712), Ubeydullah b. Ali (67/687), Ömer b. Ali (ö. 67/687) gibi Benî Hâşim’den bazılarıyla görüşmüş olduğunu bildiren rivayetler bulunmaktadır. Muhammed b. Hanefiyye’yle (ö. 81/700) ismi daha çok anılmakla birlikte Benî Haşim ve Ehl-i Beyt’ten diğer bireylerle ilişkisi ayrı ayrı değerlendirildiğinde Muhtâr’ın siyasî duruşu ve amaçları daha iyi anlaşılacaktır.The first century after the death of The Prophet is characterized by some important events in political and military areas and important figures who had taken part in these events. Al-Mukhtar ibn Abi Ubaydah al-Thaqafi was one of the prominent names after the Battle of Karbala. With the rhetoric of the revenge of those who were killed in the Battle of Karbala, he had almost two years of power in Kufa. Although he was not directly related to Ahl al-Bayt or Banu Hashim, he tried to gain ground in the political arena by widely expressing some of their names in his speeches. It’s observed that he was seen in the same frame with the important figures of Ahl Al-Bayt such as Ali ibn Abi Talib and Hasan ibn Ali and Husayn ibn Ali even before taking an important role in the stage of history. There are rumors indicating that he met some figures from Banu Hashim such as Ali bin Husayn, Ubeydullah b. Ali and Omar b. Ali. Although his name is mainly mentioned with Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyyah, if his relationships with the other members of Banu Hashim and Ahl Al-Bayt evaluated separately, the political stance and aims of Mukhtar will be better understood

    Tulisan jawi pada masa lalu diletakkan di bawah matapelajaran Bahasa Melayu yang diajarkan oleh para Guru Besar, bersinar semula setelah banyak resolusi di ambil dalam beberapa seminar khususnya mengenai perkara ini. Ramai di kalangan masyarakat yang mahukan tulisan jawi dikembalikan semula sebagai komponen Bahasa Melayu atas kapasiti tulisan jawi iaitu sebagai satu-satunya tulisan Bahasa Melayu yang digunakan di seluruh kepulauan Melayu sebelum disaingi oleh tulisan rumi pada abad ke 19. Dewasa ini tulisan jawi di letakkan dalam matapelajaran agama Islam dan diajar oleh guru-guru agama. Masa yang terhad untuk belajar dan mengenali tulisan jawi dirasakan tidak mencukupi. Usaha untuk coba menjadikan pembelajaran agama sepenuhnya menggunakan tulisan jawi adalah langkah yang baik dalam meninggikan lagi status tulisan jawi. Maju mundurnya sesuatu bahasa banyak bergantung pada keupayaan media penyebarnya, iaitu tulisan yang berkembang mengikut masa atau sekurang-kurangnya bertahan dalam gelombang peredaran zaman. Tidak ada yang lebih merugikan sesuatu bangsa selain daripada kegagalan mempertahankan tulisan bahasanya daripada ditelan gelombang itu. lnilah dilema yang tidak sewajarnya dipandang enteng oleh bangsa Melayu yang sejak zaman berzaman menggunakan tulisan jawi sebagai media penghubung bahasanya

    Development of a child’s learning begins at home. Parents are the main person to start and to help the physical, social, emotional, language skills and cognitive development of children (Children, 2005; Saturia Amiruddin, Sombuling, & Kiong, 2014; (Nor Hashimah Hashim & Yahya Che Lah, 2007). The developments of these five aspects in accordance with nature are by genes and environment. Psychologists have recognized that no individual has the same rate of growth (Aliza Ali, Sharifah Nor Puteh, & Zamri Mahamod, 2013; Atan Long, 1980; Azizi Yahaya, Halimah Ma’alip, & Zuhaimy Ismail, 2012; Nor Hashimah Hashim & Yahya Che Lah, 2007).     Ali Ibn Musa al-Rida was the eighth great grandson of Fatima Zehra (daughter of Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him) and Ali Ibn Abi Talib and he is also the eighth Imam of Shiite believers.  He was an embodiment of etiquette, manners and charity and he imparted to us the qualities of a believer. His teachings were ‘How a man should strive to be a believer of Allah (S.w.t)?’He highlighted in his preaching’s the ways to seek the pleasure of Allah (s.w.t) was through piousness, tolerance and persistence in our righteous deeds.  He also emphasized us that for a believer to control his/her nafs (psyche)is prominent among his actions.  Because of Imam Ali Ridha’s (a. s.) high moral traits and pleasing personality, he (a. s.) was considered the exquisite sun of Bibi Fatima Zehra and the Bani Hashim clan.  This paper aims to show that Imam Ali Ibn Musa al-Ridha’s reward from Allah (s.w.t) is complete peace of mind as he stuck to his spiritual values being away from his homeland

    Strengthening relationship among multi-ethnic students in Malaysia

    The education system in Malaysia plays an important role in strengthening the relationship among multi-ethnic students. This article uses data drawn from interview session, observation and document analysis, which aim to identify strategies to strengthen relationship among multi-ethnic students in a secondary school. Through purposive sampling, two school administrators, seven teachers and twenty form four students from various ethnicities were selected. This study revealed that, there were four strategies such as nurturing national integration, encouraging interactions among multi-ethnic students, stimulating acceptance and tolerance between students and creating school environment that reflects diversity of ethnics. The present findings provide new evidence illustrating how a secondary school implemented various strategies to strengthen student relationship and a few recommendations were made
