Mohammad Mamun-Ur-Rashid is a member of a research team that has tried to come up with a methodology to get information from women in Bangladesh. It’s not easy for women to speak up about unequal conditions or sexual harassment. It’s important to create an environment in which they are comfortable to talk. For example, it’s not easy to get the information from the big fish-millers, which are men. You need to engage with the right people to get the information. By creating more equal relations in the value chains, everyone will benefit. Interview with Mohammad Mamun-Ur-Rashid (WorldFish) for the book "A different kettle of fish? Kata Kunci : Pendidik, Religius Rasional, Studi Tokoh Mohammad Natsir, Studi Tokoh Harun Nasution iiABSTRACT EDUCATION IN ISLAMIC EDUCATION (RELIGIOUS-RASIONAL) STUDY OF FIGURES MOHAMMAD NATSIR AND HARUN NASUTION Education is a black and white pattern of one's life journey. In Islamic teachings it has been determined that education is one of the activities that are obligatory for both men and women, and is very much needed for life. According to Ahmad Tafsir in general the purpose of education is a good human being. This position has indirectly placed education as an inseparable part of life and human life. One of the challenges of Islamic education today is the dichotomy of science, meaning that there is a separation between religious sciences and world sciences which deny each other. Therefore, the author then discusses the thoughts of Indonesian Muslim figures and intellectuals who try to formulate educators in more moderate (religious-rational) Islamic education in accordance with the expectations of religion, nation and state, namely Mohammad Natsir and Harun Nasution. Therefore, the author takes the title "Educators in Islamic Education (Religious- Rational) Study of the Characters of Mohammad Natsir and Harun Nasution". The formulation of the problem in this study are (1) What is the Nature of Educators in Religious-Rational Islamic Education? (2) What are the Characteristics of Educators in Religious-Rational Islamic Education? (3) What are the Duties of Educators in Religious-Rational Islamic Education? In this research approach using a qualitative approach with the type of research is library research. Part of the primary data is the work of Mohammad Natsir and Harun Nasution, while the secondary data is the literature that supports primary data. Data collection techniques using library techniques, while data analysis techniques using content analysis. From the findings, the authors found that there are similarities in the thoughts of Mohammad Natsir and Harun Nasution about educators, both of which emphasize that an educator must have high analytical power with a balance between reason and revelation, religious and rational, and dhikr and thought. So that an educator can create the next generation of civilization that puts these two aspects forward and no longer argues and dichotomizes between worldly and ukhrowi aspects. Keywords: Educator, Religious Rationale, Study of Mohammad Natsir's Figure, Study of Harun Nasution's Characte

    Traditional Marketing versus Online Marketing

In the current complex and competitive market, companies lose credibility and it is very easy to very difficult (Geraghty & Conway, 2016). Within the company oriented towards the rapid changes in the market such as competitors, distribution system, mass media, new technologies, customers' interests and tastes and expectations, in reality they do not gain the necessary knowledge to cope with this dynamic changes in the marketplace. To solve the problems, marketers may rely on traditional marketing which has a long history, it is a well-researched, long established, and proven method of getting product message out to the customer (Conway, 2016). This traditional marketing includes pretty much all advertising before the internet came along

Automated Knowledge Base Quality Assessment and Validation based on Evolution Analysis

In recent years, numerous efforts have been put towards sharing Knowledge Bases (KB) in the Linked Open Data (LOD) cloud. These KBs are being used for various tasks, including performing data analytics or building question answering systems. Such KBs evolve continuously: their data (instances) and schemas can be updated, extended, revised and refactored. However, unlike in more controlled types of knowledge bases, the evolution of KBs exposed in the LOD cloud is usually unrestrained, what may cause data to suffer from a variety of quality issues, both at a semantic level and at a pragmatic level. This situation affects negatively data stakeholders – consumers, curators, etc. –. Data quality is commonly related to the perception of the fitness for use, for a certain application or use case. Therefore, ensuring the quality of the data of a knowledge base that evolves is vital. Since data is derived from autonomous, evolving, and increasingly large data providers, it is impractical to do manual data curation, and at the same time, it is very challenging to do a continuous automatic assessment of data quality. Ensuring the quality of a KB is a non-trivial task since they are based on a combination of structured information supported by models, ontologies, and vocabularies, as well as queryable endpoints, links, and mappings. Thus, in this thesis, we explored two main areas in assessing KB quality: (i) quality assessment using KB evolution analysis, and (ii) validation using machine learning models. The evolution of a KB can be analyzed using fine-grained “change” detection at low-level or using “dynamics” of a dataset at high-level. In this thesis, we present a novel knowledge base quality assessment approach using evolution analysis. The proposed approach uses data profiling on consecutive knowledge base releases to compute quality measures that allow detecting quality issues. However, the first step in building the quality assessment approach was to identify the quality characteristics. Using high-level change detection as measurement functions, in this thesis we present four quality characteristics: Persistency, Historical Persistency, Consistency and Completeness. Persistency and historical persistency measures concern the degree of changes and lifespan of any entity type. Consistency and completeness measures identify properties with incomplete information and contradictory facts. The approach has been assessed both quantitatively and qualitatively on a series of releases from two knowledge bases, eleven releases of DBpedia and eight releases of 3cixty Nice. However, high-level changes, being coarse-grained, cannot capture all possible quality issues. In this context, we present a validation strategy whose rationale is twofold. First, using manual validation from qualitative analysis to identify causes of quality issues. Then, use RDF data profiling information to generate integrity constraints. The validation approach relies on the idea of inducing RDF shape by exploiting SHALL constraint components. In particular, this approach will learn, what are the integrity constraints that can be applied to a large KB by instructing a process of statistical analysis, which is followed by a learning model. We illustrate the performance of our validation approach by using five learning models over three sub-tasks, namely minimum cardinality, maximum cardinality, and range constraint. The techniques of quality assessment and validation developed during this work are automatic and can be applied to different knowledge bases independently of the domain. Furthermore, the measures are based on simple statistical operations that make the solution both flexible and scalable

Zaferinde İranlı unsurun, Muhammed Emin'i destekleyen Arap unsura üstünlüğünün yanı sıra, Fazl bin Sehl, Tahir bin Hüseyin gibi İranlı şahsiyetlerin başarıları rol oynamıştır.The Abbasid caliphate Haroon Rashid assigned firstly Mohammad and than Abdollah and Kasim as his heir apparents. Mohammad Amin was the son of Zubeyde who was from Abbasid Dynasty so Haroon Rashid had to declare Mohammed's heir apparency. But infact he was believeing his incompetence but also hesitating the pressure of dynasty. For Haroon Rashid, Abdollah Mamoon was more suitable for throne so he gifted autonomous status. In this manner he –consciously or unconsciously? paved the way for Mamoon's victory. Before his death Haroon Rashid officialized his decision by a prothocol in Mecca on the way to pilgrimage. After Haroon Rashid's death, the Mecca Prothocol which had been open to ulama (muslim scholars) and public, was gradually infringed by Mohammad Amin. Then, bothers ?out of Kasim? started a strugle. In this rivalry Abdollah Mamoon gradually preponderated and at the end Amin had died and Mamoon won the compatititon. In his victory, beside Mamoon's Farsi predomination to Amin's Arabs, the Farsi advocates of Mamoon as Fazl bin Sahl and Tahir bin Husayin were also effective
