No full text[[abstract]]袁中道於萬曆四十四年（1616）接受郝公琰之邀約，為曹臣《舌華錄》進行評點，提出個人對作者之意的體會、以及對文本的詮解，同時也為曹臣《舌華錄》的出版增值。本文以曹臣（1583-1647）《舌華錄》為研究對象，探求袁中道與曹臣《舌華錄》的審美交往，與歷來諸多評點家對世說體審美規範的認同與差異。論述的途徑依哈伯馬斯（jurgen.Habermas）話語的雙重結構分二途進行：其一是陳述性的話語，在語義分析層面上，就袁中道的批點話語所具有的資訊、內容加以表述與傳達，呈示文本與批點話語的現存狀態，亦傳達言說者主體真誠性的意向表達。其二是以言行事的話語，此一層面話語是從話語的合語法性向他者能理解性的轉換。研究發現：袁中道批點話語以「妙」為起效的節點，實現話語交往，達成共識、導向認同的目標，對曹臣《舌華錄》的審美規範進行補充和修正，標舉「妙在含蓄」為世說體語言普遍有效性的審美規範和共識。[[abstract]]In the 44th Year of Wanli reign (1616), Yuan Zhongdao accepted the invitation of Hao Gongyan to comment on Cao Chen’s She Hua Lu, proposing his own perception of the author and the personal interpretation of the text, as well as adding extra value of the publication of Cao Chen’s She Hua Lu. This article, taking She Hua Lu written by Cao Chen (1583-1647) as the research topic , explores the aesthetic communication between Yuan Zhongdao and Cao Chen’s She Hua Lu and the identities and differences of the aesthetic norms of so many commentators on Shishuo styles in the past as well. Basing on the dual structure of the Jurgen Habermas’s discourse, the approach discussed in this research is conducted in two ways: One is the declarative discourse, expressing and conveying the information and contents of Yuan Zhongdao’s discourse on Marginalia on the aspect of semantic analysis to present the true nature of the text and the discourse, and as well as the expression of the speaker’s intention to convey the sincerity of the subject matter itself. The other is the discourse of words conducted with deeds in nature, which is the transformation in this aspect from the syntactic nature of the discourse to the comprehensible nature of others. This study finds that Yuan Zhongdao’s discourse, taking ＂Miao＂ as the crux of the issue, achieves the goal of the realization of the discourse communication, reaches the common consensus and leads to the identification orientation to make supplements and revisions on the aesthetic norms of Cao Chen’s She Hua Lu, and to manifest ＂Miao Zai Han Xu＂ as the universal standards of the aesthetic norms and consensus of the Shishuo styles from then on

THE "LIU-I SHIH-HUA" OF OU-YANG HSIU (CHINA).
No full textPoetry occupies an eminent position in the history of Chinese literature because almost all the traditional men of letters had experience in composing poems. However, it was not until the Sung Dynasty that the criticism of poetry became very popular; this was singled out by the appearance of a number of books called, shih-hua (icons omitted) (remarks on poetry). Since the Sung period on, shih-hua has received both praise and censure. Traditional critics tended to evaluate shih-hua from a practical viewpoint. For example, Wang Shih-han (icons omitted) criticised the content of shih-hua as trivial because it deviated from the subjects of filial piety, trust, and other Confucian merits. On the other hand, Kuo Shao-yu (icons omitted) proclaimed that shih-hua preserved a great deal of worthy materials for the study of poetry. Modern scholars tend to evaluate shih-hua from the aesthetic viewpoint. For instance, Yen Yuan-shu (icons omitted) describes shih-hua as "vague and obscure" and "lacking systematic discourse." Yet other scholars such as Yeh Wei-lien (icons omitted) claim that the shih-hua offers readers a chance to recapture the world of rich imagery in poetic composition. In order to make a more objective judgement between the above two extremely different evaluations of shih-hua, the following issues must first be resolved: the definition of shih-hua which is related to Ou-yang Hsiu's (icons omitted) Liu-i shih-hua (icons omitted) the first book titled shih-hua, what kind of poetic tradition the Liu-i shih-hua inherited, what kind of person its author was, under what kind of literary environment it was produced, what were the contents of the work, and what kind of influence it exerted on the development of the shih-hua genre. Then we may tentatively reach an answer: the practical criticism of poetry only covers one part of the content of shih-hua. To make a complete evaluation of a shih-hua book or the shih-hua genre itself, a critic must take all the issues above into consideration

No full textShi Hua is an important genre in the traditional Chinese literary criticism. The Qing dynasty (1644-1911) is the prime period of the composition of Shi Hua, the number of which amounts to a total of more than 1,000 works. Compared with other dynasties, this figure is unsurpassable. The study of Shi Hua usually focuses on one author, one school or one dynasty, and a large-scale research from the vision of area is rare. This dissertation aims to study the works of Shi Hua of the Guangdong Province in the Qing Dynasty. Starting to appear in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), the works of Shi Hua of Guangdong became abundant in the Qing dynasty. Even after the founding of the Republic of China in 1911, the composition of the works of Shi Hua was still occasionally observed. During the Qing dynasty, about 100 works of Shi Hua were composed by the authors of Guangdong nativity, while only 30-odd works are still extant. The rich content of these works demonstrates the intimate relationships between the Shi Hua of Guangdong and the poetry of the same area as well as the entire Qing dynasty.The study of this dissertation is three-layered. Firstly the historical development of the works of Shi Hua of Guangdong in the Qing dynasty is discussed, and the information about the extant works and their authors is investigated. Secondly the development and evolution of the Guangdong poetry are analyzed on the basis of the content of the works of Shi Hua. Thirdly the theories and the value of several important works of Shi Hua in Guangdong are studied. The dissertation is divided into eight chapters: Chapter 1, the development of the works of Shi Hua of Guangdong in the Qing dynasty: in a chronological order, the development of the works of Shi Hua of Guangdong in the Qing dynasty is discussed in order to outline their literary thoughts. Chapter 2, the works of Shi Hua of Guangdong in the Qing dynasty and their authors: the authors' nativities and the background of composition are scrutinized. Chapter 3, the discussions about the Guangdong poetry in the works of Shi Hua of Guangdong in the Qing dynasty: the regional features of the Guangdong poetry discussed in the Shi Hua and their relations with poetry societies, clans, paintings, political background and the compilation of collectanea are studied, and the poetic thought of 'Tang-following' is emphasized. Chapter 4, the study in the works of Shi Hua of Huang Pei-fang: Huang's attitude towards the Qing poetry is studied, his poem creation theory is examined so as to reveal his poetic thought of 'Tang-following'. Chapter 5, the study in the works of Shi Hua of Zhang Wei-ping: Zhang's comments on the Qing poetry is studied, the principles and influence of his works of Shi Hua are deduced, and his poetic thoughts of 'spirit' and 'profoundness' are explored as well. Chapter 6, the study in the works of Shi Hua of Liang Jiu-tu and He Yue-yu: Liang's poetic thoughts of 'temperament' and 'freshness' is studies, and He's eclectic theory of the Qing poetry and the traditional poems is assessed. Chapter 7, the study of Liang Qi-chao's Yin Bing Shi Shi Hua: Liang's idea of literary revolution is studied, and his reforming poetic thought of new ambition and old style is illustrated.
