Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. كفاءة المعلم في تطبيق تعليم اللغة العربية في المدارس الابتدائية الإسلامية المتحدة (SD IT) بمنطقة مالانق على أساس معيار رشدي أحمد طعيمة

المعلم أحد من المكونات التعليمية المهمة في عملية التعليم وقد كثرت توجهت الكلام إليه. وأنه مساعدا لنمو قدرة الطلبة لتحقيق أغراضهم في التعلم. كان دور المعلم في مرحلة الابتدائية هي دور ضروري في تعليم اللغة العربية بخاصة تعليم المهارات الأربعة كهدف الأساسي في تعليم اللغة العربية لمرحلة الابتدائية. هذا دور ضروري تدافع المعلم لتمليك كفاءة الجيدة لتعليم المهارات اللغوية. المهارات اللغوية المقصودة هي مهارة الاستماع ومهارة الكلام ومهارة القراءة ومهارة الكتابة. إنطلاقا على كفاءة معلمي اللغة العربية لتعليم مهارات اللغوية ينبغي تأسس على نظرية دقة لمعرفة كيفية ترقية وضين كفاءة معلمي اللغة العربية فهي معرفة معايير كفاءة معلم في تعليم المهارات اللغوية عند رشدي أحمد طعيمة.
أهدف هذا البحث هو 1) تحليل تطبيق تعليم المهارات اللغوية في مدرسة الإسلامية المتحدة إنسان فرماتا ومدرسة الإسلامية المتحدة موتيارا هاتي. 2) تحليل كفاءة معلمي اللغة العربية في تدريس مهارات اللغوية بمدرسة الإسلامية المتحدة إنسان فرماتا ومدرسة الإسلامية المتحدة موتيارا هاتي على معيار رشدي أحمد طعيمة.
منهج البحث هذا البحث هو منهج الوصفي بمدخل الكيفي بدراسة حالة المتعددة، أسلوب جمع البيانات باستخدام الملاحظة، المقابلة، والوثائق. طريقة تحليل البيانات من Milies و Huberman تتكون من عرض البيانات، فرز البيانات، واستنتاج البيانات.
ونتيجة هذا البحث هي: 1) تطبيق تعليم المهارات اللغوية في مدرسة الإسلامية المتحدة إنسان فرماتا ومدرسة الإسلامية المتحدة موتيارا هاتي يقوم بنظرية الوحدة لم تقم كاملا. قد تقوم المعلمة تطبيق نظرية الوحدة في تعليم المهارات لهتين مدرستين غير موازنة بتخصيص وتركيز المعلم إلى المهارة الواحدة بأنهم فهموا عن نظرية الوحدة ولم يعرفوا حقيقة تطبيقها. 2)كفاءة معلمي اللغة العربية في تطبيق تعليم المهارات اللغوية في مدرسة الإبتدائية الإسلامية المتحدة إنسان فرمتا لوكوارو Lowokwaru وموتيارا هاتي كدوج كانداج kedung kandang لم يكن جيدا بنظر إلى معايير رشدي أحمد طعيمة ولم يطابق نظرية الوحدة في تعليم المهارات اللغوية حق تكامله من ثمانية عشر معايير لكفاءة معلمي اللغة العربية في تعليم المهارات اللغوية، كان المعلم تطبق إلا ثمانية معيارا لمدرسة في إنسان فرمتا لوكوارو وخمسة معاييرا في موتيارا هاتي كدوج كانداج
ABSTRACT
Teachers are one of the most important components in learning that has been much discussed by the crowd. Teachers are supporters who help students to develop skills. At the primary school level the role of teachers is needed in the learning of Arabic especially the four proficiency learning which becomes the main objective in the basic level of learning. It is this great role that supports teachers to have good competence in teaching four Arabic skills. These four skills are proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Relying on the ability of Arabic teachers to teach four proficiency then it should be based on proper theory to find ways to improve and maintain the competence that should be done by Arabic teacher, that is to know competency indicator to teach four skills according to Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah.
The purpose of this study is 1) to analyze the implementation of learning Arabic language skills in SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru and SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang 2) analyze the ability of Arabic language teachers in teaching Arabic language skills in SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru and SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang according to Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aah's theory.
This research methodology is qualitative disceptive with Multi Case approach. Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique using Miles and Hubermen model which include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.
The results showed that 1) the implementation of learning Arabic language skills in SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru and SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang using a unity system in learning Arabic but not yet practiced perfectly. Although they have implemented a unity system, these two schools do not perform uniformly and evenly, which only focus on one or two skills, the teacher understands the unity system but has not yet practiced in the learning process. 2) the competence of Arabic language teachers in teaching Arabic language skills in SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru and SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang can be said not yet adequate based on the theory of Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah. Of the eighteen indicators presented by Rusydi Ahmad Thu'aimah on teacher competence in teaching Arab language skills, SD IT Insan Permata has implemented eight indicators and SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung Kandang has implemented five indicators.
ABSTRAK
Guru merupakan salah satu komponen terpenting dalam pembelajaran yang telah banyak diperbincangkan oleh halayak ramai. Guru merupakan pendukung yang membantu siswa untuk mengembangkan kemamapuan bahasa. Pada tingkat sekolah dasar peran guru sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab terutama pembelajaran empat kemahiran yang menjadi tujuan utama dalam pelajaran ini ditingkat dasar. Peran yang besar inilah yang mendukung agar guru memiliki kompetensi yang baik dalam mengajarkan empat kemahiran bahasa Arab. Empat kemahiran ini adalah kemahiran dalam mendengar, berbicara, membaca dan menulis. Bertumpu pada pentingnya kemampuan guru bahasa Arab dalam mengajarkan empat kemahiran maka sebaiknya mengetahui kemampuan guru dengan menganalisis kemampuan mereka berlandaskan teori yang tepat agar menemukan cara meningkatkan dan mempertahankan kompetensi yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh guru bahasa Arab serta, mengenalkan indikator kompetensi mengajar empat kemahiran sesuai teori yang dikembangkan oleh para ahli.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran kemahiran bahasa Arab di SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru dan SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang 2) menganalisis kemampuan guru bahasa arab dalam mengajarkan kemahiran bahasa Arab di SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru dan SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang menurut teori Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah.
Metodelogi penelitian ini adalah kualitatif diskeptif dengan pendekatan Multi Kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan model Miles dan Hubermen yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran kemahiran bahasa Arab di SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru dan SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang menggunakan sistem kesatuan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab namun belum dipraktekkan secara sempurna. Meski sudah melaksanakan system kesatuan kedua sekolah ini tidak melaksanakan secara merata dan seimbang yang hanya terfokus pada satu atau dua kemahiran saja, guru memahami system kesatuan namun belum memeraktekkan dalam pembelajaran. 2) kompetensi guru bahasa arab dalam mengajarkan kemahiran bahasa Arab di SD IT Insan permata Lowokwaru dan SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang dapat dikatakan belum memadai berdasarkan teori Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah. Dari delapan belas indikator yang dipaparkan Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah pada kompetensi guru dalam mengajarakan kemahiran bahasa Arab, SD IT Insan Permata telah melaksanakan delapan indikator dan SD IT Mutiara Hati Kedung kandang telah melaksanakan lima indikator
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Tıbbi görüntülemede radon dönüşümü kullanarak görüntü oluşturma üzerine bir çalışma
06.03.2018 tarihli ve 30352 sayılı Resmi Gazetede yayımlanan “Yükseköğretim Kanunu İle Bazı Kanun Ve Kanun Hükmünde Kararnamelerde Değişiklik Yapılması Hakkında Kanun” ile 18.06.2018 tarihli “Lisansüstü Tezlerin Elektronik Ortamda Toplanması, Düzenlenmesi ve Erişime Açılmasına İlişkin Yönerge” gereğince tam metin erişime açılmıştır.Tıbbi görüntüleme alanında teşhis ve tedavi amaçlı X-Işını, Bilgisayarlı Tomografi ve Ultrason gibi çeşitli yaklaşımlar mevcuttur. Bu yaklaşımlar anotomik ve dinamik vücut fonksiyonlarının durumu hakkında bilgi sağlamaktadır. Tıbbi görüntüleme yaklaşımlarında, görüntünün elde edilmesi (yeniden inşası) önemlidir. Kaliteli bir görüntüleme için yeterli sayıda projeksiyona ihtiyaç duyulur. Bu çalışmada, radon dönüşümü, imge üzerindeki çizgilerden ilgili parametreler yardımıyla görüntünün elde edilmesinde kullanılmaktadır. Gürültü gibi istenmeyen etkilerin giderilememesinden dolayı, bu handikapı gidermek üzere filtreleme tekniklerinden yararlanılmaktadır. Görüntünün elde edilmesi sürecinde, görüntü kalitesi, Tepe sinyal gürültü oranı (PSNR) ve yapısal benzerlik (SSIM) gibi tekniklerle ölçülmektedir. Önerilen yöntemin başarisini karşılaştırmak için Medyan ve Wiener filtreleri kullanılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırmalara göre en iyi sonucu dalgacık dönüşümü ile değiştirilmiş radon dönüşümü metot vermiştir.SUMMAR

We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
