Preserving Under Triple Dilemmas: Study on the Jinyang National Archaeological Site Park
This thesis introduces a new preservation type in China — the National Archaeological Site Park (abbreviated as NASP). With a special concern on the Jinyang NASP, this study summarizes the historical significance of the Jinyang archaeological site and reveals the mounting threatens to the site, which is posted by the massive urbanization and the aggressive developmental strategy prompted by the local leader, Mayor Geng.
Taking the Jinyang site and Mayor Geng as an example, this research explores the complicated issues residing in the preservation fields of China. Viewing from the dimension of government, society and individual respectively, the author argues that there is a common status among China’s preservation practices, which is preserving under triple dilemmas: the inherent institutional syndrome of the government used to results in the distortion of the real ends of historic preservation; on the side of society, the increasingly imbalanced social development creates a divisive environment in which affairs of historic preservation are not favored; for various individuals involved in historic preservation, it is very difficult to reach consensus and make a common effort because of inconsistent personal benefits. At last, this thesis makes some suggestions for the improvement of the Jinyang NASP

Benefits and limitations of biochar for climate-smart agriculture: a review and case study from China
Abstract Biochar has gained significant attention in agricultural and environmental research over the last two decades. This comprehensive review evaluates the effects of biochar on soil organic carbon (SOC), emission of non-CO 2 greenhouse gases, and crop yield, including related mechanisms and major influencing factors. The impacts of biochar on SOC, methane and nitrous oxide emissions, and crop yield are controlled by biochar and soil properties and management practices. High-temperature biochar produced from lignin-rich feedstocks may decrease methane and nitrous oxide emissions in acidic soils and strengthen long-term carbon sequestration due to its stable aromatic structure. In contrast, low-temperature biochar from manure may increase crop yield in low-fertility soils. Applying biochar to farmlands in China can increase SOC content by 1.9 Pg C and reduce methane and nitrous oxide emissions by 25 and 20 Mt CO 2 -eq year −1 , respectively, while increasing crop yields by 19%. Despite the increasing evidence of the positive effects of biochar, future research needs to explore the potential factors that could weaken or hinder its capacity to address climate change and secure crop production. We conclude that biochar is not a universal solution for global cropland; however, targeted applications in fields, landscapes, or regional scales, especially in low fertility and sandy soils, could realize the benefits of biochar as a climate-smart measure. Highlights The findings of research on biochar's effects on soil C sequestration, GHG mitigation, and crop production were summarized. The factors influencing the impact of biochar on soil functioning were reviewed. The effects of biochar on soil C sequestration and GHG mitigation in farmlands of China were quantified. Engineered Whey Protein Nanoparticles for Intracellular Drug Delivery
Protein-based nanoparticles, composed of water-soluble proteins, represent a promising platform for reducing side effects during drug delivery. They enhance the solubility, stability, and bioavailability of hydrophobic therapeutic agents while maintaining high biocompatibility and biodegradability in vivo. These nanoparticles are nontoxic and capable of encapsulating both hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs, making them highly versatile. In this study, we explored the potential of whey proteins derived from bovine milk to engineer nanoparticles for efficient drug delivery. Whey proteins, traditionally regarded as waste byproducts of cheese production, have recently gained attention for their potential in drug encapsulation, thanks to their excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability. We synthesized two types of nanoparticles based on a previously engineered whey protein, named Matrix and Core–shell. Following their characterization, we investigated their effects on cellular uptake, cytotoxicity, and cell proliferation, using a curcumin extract with known anticancer properties as a model drug. The study demonstrated that whey protein nanoparticles are highly efficient in drug encapsulation, with both types of nanoparticles exhibiting efficient cellular uptake and enhanced cytotoxicity at higher concentrations in tumor cells compared to healthy cells. These results confirm the potential of whey protein nanoparticles as a platform for targeted drug delivery, particularly in cancer therapy. Overall, this research underscores the promise of whey protein-based nanoparticles as an innovative, sustainable, and effective approach to advancing targeted cancer therapy

(A) Study on the Comparison of the Melody classified by the Schools of the Sanjo of teagu˘m : Centering around the relation with the Jinyang of the School of Han, Joo Hwan
She Sanjo is the high-degree artistic music which was generated at the end of Chosun as a solo for the instrumental music made by being subjected to the influence of Sinawi and Pansori which were used at the southern provinces.
There are various schools in the Sanjo of teagu˘m today, after Park, Chong Ki (1904-1966) created it in 1920s.
About the sanjo of the schools of Han, Bum Soo, Seo, Yong Suk, Lee, Saeng Kang, and won, Jang Hyun, as a result of examining how the melody is same, if it is same, and, how it is different, with Han, Joo Hwan (1904-1966) who is center.
First, as for the Ujo, the same or similar different, if it is his successor in the melody emerges with about 58.33% in the school of Han, Bum Soo. And, it emerges with 100%, in the rest school. Thus, it can be deemed that this Ujo is borrowing the Ujo of the school of Han, Joo Hwan. Second, as for the Pyoungjo, the rate of the same or similar melody is emerging with 75% in the school of Lee, Saeng Kang, and Won, Jang Hyun respectively, and it is emerging with 20% in the school of Seo, Yong Suk, and it is emerging with 16.66% in the school of Han, Bum SOO, in the order. Thus, it can be demed that the school of Lee, Saeng Kang and Won, Jang Hyun is borrowing the Pyoungjo of the school of Han, Joo Hwan.
Third, as for the Kyeayonjo, the rate of same or similar melody is emerging, in the order of 13.21% of the school of Lee, Saeng Kang 9.375% of the school of Han, Bum soo, 9.3% of the school of Seo , yong Suk, and 7.5% of the school of Won, Jang Hyun. And, the melody of Kyemyonjo is occupying almost half, among Jinyang melody. Nevertheless, same melody is emerging differently with the Ujo. This is deemed, because the melody change of Kyemyonjo is more free.
Fourth, Byeonchungujo is not emerging in the schools of Han, Bum Soo and Lee, Saeng Kang, 2 rhythme emerge in the school of Won, Jang Hyun. Then, 1 rhythm emerges as the similar melody, and 1 rhythm emerges as the different melody. Thus, same melody is not emerging. As 100% of it emerges as the different melody in the school of Seo, yong Suk, it can be seen that it is the part which was not subjected to the influence of the school of Han, Joo Hwan at all.
Fifth, for Byonkyemyonjo, the same melody doesn't emerge in all the schools. But, 44.66% emerges as the same or similar melody in the school of Lee, Saeng Kang. Thus, we can see that it frequently emerges relatively.
Similar melody is emerging in all the schools. But, 100% emerges as the different melody in the school of Han, Bum Soo. So, it can be seen that it is the part which was not subjected to the influence of the school of Han, Joo Hwan. and it can be seen that the rate of same of similar melody emerges in the order of 44.66% of Lee, Saeng Kang, 5.25% of Won, Jang Hyun, 4.16% of Seo, Yong Suk, and 0% of Han, Bum soo.
As for the Sanjo of the teagu˘m of the schools of Han, Bum Soo, Seo, Yong Suk, Lee, Saeng Kang, Won, Jang Hyun, it could be seen that the new Sanjo was made, by quoting or changing the melody on the basis of the school of Han, Joo Hwan and by inserting their own original melody.;산조는 남도지방에서 쓰여진 시나위와 판소리의 영향을 받아 만들어진 기악 독주곡으로서 조선 말기에 발생된 고도의 예술음악이다.

Yussisamdearok deals with the problem of death more than any other novels. This is very distinctive feature among classic novels which do not deals with the problem of death in the full scale.
The mode of encapsulation of death in Yussisamdearok is assorted to the image of foreground of death, generalization of death, and empowerment of death. The foreground of death makes its appearance in early death of heroine or frequent death of family. The generalization of death makes its appearance in description of death in destiny and in real description of usual face of death. And the empowerment of death makes its appearance in description of determination of a family"s fate as political base in remembrance of the dead.
Yussisamdearok has a meaning in opening up in new land of the problem of death in classic novels. Especially the novel shows three modes of the foreground of death, generalization of death, and empowerment of death in description of early death of princess Jinyang, the memorial of her, and the activity of her as the dead. These make the reasoning of the readers and creators of this novel are connected to lower rank family to whom the princess marry with. We can corroborate the actual fact of the family of Hyegyenggung(惠慶宮) Hong(洪) is the family to whom the princess Jeongmyeng(貞明公主) marry with in real
Knowledge sharing in virtual communities: a social exchange theory perspective
Purpose: The author tried to identify the knowledge sharing behaviors on the internet, using
structural equation modeling methods, proposing a model based on social exchange theory in
which share willingness, trust, reciprocity, altruism tended to have impact on people’s
knowledge sharing behaviors in virtual communities.
Design/methodology/approach: We presented an empirical research which integrated social
exchange theory and structural equation modeling methods to analyze several important factors
influencing members’ knowledge sharing behaviors in virtual communities.
Findings: We analyzed the knowledge sharing behaviors in virtual communities. We found that
members’ altruism can not predict knowledge sharing behaviors. We also found that members’
sharing willingness is the most important factor on virtual community knowledge sharing
behaviors compared with trust, reciprocity and altruism.
Originality/value: From the perspective of social exchange theory, we did empirical test and
verified the proposed research model by using structural equation modeling methods. Our
finding can help recognize people’s incentive about knowledge sharing
