    Implementation of Pluralist Education at Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu Junior High School Suryani Lamsu Askar Askar Hamlan Hamlan This thesis examines the Implementation of Pluralist Education at SMP Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu. The school opens for learning opportunities for every student across religions, ethnicities, races and cultures. This school aims to educate all children of the nation, both Muslim and non-Muslim. The research used qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The data were collected through various instruments: observation, interviews and documentation. The sample are a non-Muslim Educator, seven Muslim educators, two Muslim students and six non-Muslim students. Based on the category, all samples played an active role in the application of pluralist education at Al-Azhar Mandiri Junior High School. This study found that pluralist education had been carried out since 1992, with a reference to the school motto of Smart and Moral. It motivates students to be smart but not being arrogant. Non-Muslim students remain in class when Islamic studies take place, and the teacher does not object.     The Roles of Islamic Education Teachers Strategy in Embedding Multicultural Values Arif Anas Askar Askar Hamlan Hamlan The objective of the paper is to find out the strategy of Isalamic education teachers in embedding multicultural values at a senior high school in Palu. The study used a qualitative case study method. Data were gathered through direct observation, un-depth interviews with the school’s teachers, and written material analyses. This study found that the teachers of the school embedded multicultural values through humanistic approach in taching and daily school’s interaction. Students were given tolerance understanding to respect religion and ethnicity differences. The curriculum of the school was also redusugned by integrating multicultural values. Intolerance attitudes were strongy prohibited and stric rules to respect each other were imposed. Islamic education teachers were imposed to teached moderate Islamic teachings which respect multicultural values. Radical Islamic views were prohibited to teach in the school.     MTsN Barito Utara merupakan lembaga pendidikan menengah pertama berbasis Madrasah Tsanawiyah yang mempunyai komitmen sangat tinggi dalam upaya mewujudkan visi dan misi sekolah yang berkualitas dan berprestasi, baik dalam bidang akademik maupun non akademik. Berbagai upaya pembenahan dan pengaturan manajemen dilakukan agar MTsN Barito Utara selalu menjadi sekolah favorit yang digemari masyarakat karena keunggulan dan mutu yang terakui. sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan riset penelitian dalam melihat pola manajemen yang digunakan sekolah tersebut dengan rumusan masalah : 1) Bagaimana perencanaan mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara? 2) Bagaimana pengorganisasian mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara? 3) Bagaimana pelaksanaan mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara? 4) Bagaimana pengendalian mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara? Tujuan penelitian; mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian Mutu Peserta Didik dalam Upaya Peningkatan Prestsi di MTsN Barito Utara. Pendekatan penelitian; deskriftif kualitatif melalui metode analisis situasi dengan konsep realistik. Peneliti menyajikan data sesuai kondisi real di lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data; observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian; kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah semua bidang, guru dan staf TU MTsN Barito Utara. Analisa data melalui: Reduksi data, penyajian data, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data; menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, triangulasi penyidik, triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : Manajemen mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara sudah melaksanakan fungsi manajemen yang mengacu pada perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan dan pengendalian. (1) Hasil perencanaan mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara a. perencanaan daya tamping peserta didik, b. inventarisir jenis kegitan, c. penjadwalan kegiatan, d. menyusun pedoman rencana pelaksanaan kegiatan akademik dan non akademik (2) Hasil pengorganisasian mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara; a. menjalankan fungsi struktur organisasi untuk pemberdayaan sumber daya manusia dalam pembagian tugas dan tanggung jawab. b.pengorganisasian sumber daya fisik sarana prasarana dan pembiayaan. c. Koordinasi dan kerjasama antara pihak guru dan kepala sekolah (3) Hasil pelaksanaan mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara dilakukan dengan : a. Standard Operasional Procedure (SOP). b. Pengarahan, bimbingan dan motivasi. c. Strategik program peningkatan mutu pendidikan. (4) Hasil Pengendalian mutu peserta didik dalam upaya peningkatan prestasi di MTsN Barito Utara dilakukan sebagai a. Pengendalian kinerja pelaksanaan kegiatan. b. Deskripsi laporan hasil belajar peserta didik dan hasil kegiatan. ABSTRACT Barito Utara MTsN is a junior secondary education institution based on Madrasah Tsanawiyah that has a very high commitment in the effort to realize the vision and mission of a quality and high-achieving school, both in academic and non-academic fields. Various efforts to improve and manage management were carried out so that North Barito MTsN has always been a favorite school favored by the community because of its excellence and recognized quality. so that researchers are interested in conducting research research in looking at the management patterns used by the school with the formulation of the problem: 1) What is the quality planning of students in an effort to improve achievement at North Barito MTsN? 2) How to organize the quality of students in an effort to improve achievement at North Barito MTsN? 3) How is the implementation the quality of students in an effort to improve achievement at North Barito MTsN? 4) How do you control the quality of students in an effort to improve achievement at North Barito MTsN? Research purposes; describe planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the Quality Management of Students in Efforts to Increase Achievement in North Barito MTsN. Research approach; descriptive qualitative through the method of analyzing situations with realistic concepts. The researcher presents data according to real conditions in the field. Data collection technique; observation, interview and documentation. Research subjects; headmaster, deputy principal of all fields, teachers and staff of TU Barito Utara MTsN. Data analysis through: Data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. Check the validity of data; using source triangulation techniques, triangulation methods, investigator triangulation, theory triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: The quality management of students in an effort to improve achievement at North Barito MTsN has implemented a management function that refers to planning, organizing, implementing and controlling.     Penerapan ilmu komunikasi dan psikologi dalam proses dakwah pengaruhnya terhadap pengamalan agama masyarakat di Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh penerapan ilmu komunikasi dan psikologi dalam proses dakwah baik secara tersendiri maupun secara simultan (bersama-sama) terhadap pengamalan agama masyarakat. Sebanyak 120 orang masyarakat yang dijadikan sebagai sampel dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner (angket). Selanjutnya data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Dari hasil analisis tersebut diketahui bahwa penerapan ilmu komunikasi pengaruhnya sangat kuat terhadap pengamalan agama yaitu 0.929. Begitu juga dengan penerapan psikologi pengaruhnya sangat kuat terhadap pengamalan agama yaitu 0,880, selanjutnya dilihat dari kedua variabel tersebut secara simultan berpengaruh kuat terhadap pengamalan agama sebesar 0,939. Dari analisis data diperoleh hasil penerapan ilmu komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengamalan agama masyarakat di Kecamatan Padangsidimpuan Selatan yaitu 27,339 > 1,659. Begitu pula penerapan psikologi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengamalan agama yaitu 20,114 > 1,659. Selanjutnya secara simultan kedua variabel tersebut pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengamalan agama yaitu 437,897 > 3, 08
