    No full text
Research has been carried out on N, S-CDs with the basic ingredient namely reeds roots to be applied as a curcumin detector. N, S-CDs are made from reed roots (Imperata cylindrica radix) with the addition of C3H7NO2S to the material composition, namely 3:3, 3:6, 3:9, 9:3 and 6:3 using the hydrothermal method. The preparation process is carried out by mixing reeds roots and C3H7NO2S with ethanol and distilled water as solvents. Then the solution was put into a hydrothermal autoclave and kept for 4 hours in an oven 2000C. Then centrifuged for 10 minutes at a speed of 10,000 rpm then dialyzed for 72 hours. The characterization of N, S-CDs was explained through Ultraviolet-Visible Spectrophotometer, Photoluminescence (PL), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) and Scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (SEM-EDX). The wavelength results in UV-Vis and PL testing were 268.38-314.02 nm and 492.91-495.02 nm. The FTIR test results show that the C = C group in the wavelength 1640-1680 ...is the core component of N, S-CDs, which proves that it was successfully synthesized. XRD test results show that the crystal diameter decreases with the addition of reed root composition. The test results from SEM with the addition of reed root composition made the pores in the sample wider. The EDX results show that adding the composition of reed roots has an increasing effect on the element C (carbon). To detect curcumin, a carbon dot is used for luminescence color (fluorescence) with a regression value (absorbance) of 0.6108 which emits a yellow color when dissolved.89 PagesSkripsi Sarjan

Research on nutmeg shell activated carbon as a water adsorber aims to reduce ammonia levels in fish pond water. The process of making nutmeg shell activated carbon starts with nutmeg shell dried in the sun for 3 hours and carbonized at 350oC for 2 hours, then mashed using a mortar and sifted 100 mesh, then chemically activated using 1M HCl solution for 24 hours and then washed using distilled water until the pH is neutral and dried using a 110oC oven for 1 hour. Furthermore, the activated carbon of nutmeg shell was physically activated with temperature variations of 600oC, 650oC, and 700oC for 2 hours. Activated carbon that has been activated is then tested for standard activated carbon requirements according to SNI, characterized tests to determine water absorption (physical properties), SEM-EDX Mapping, crystal testing (XRD), and FTIR functional groups. The standard test results of activated carbon decreased by SNI obtained the results of 9.23% moisture content, 8.45% volatile matter content, 9.71% ash content and 81.84% bound carbon content. Physical test of optimum water absorption value at 700oC is 36.5%. SEM EDX Mapping test with an average pore diameter size of 232 nm, XRD results show the crystal structure formed is an amorphous structure, and FTIR test analysis on activated carbon that has been activated shows 3621.27 cm-1 the presence of O-H bonds and the 1700.13 cm-1 region shows the presence of C≡ C bonds. The results of testing ammonia levels with a mass variation of activated carbon 2 gr, 4 gr and 6 gr each temperature with 100 ml of pool water show that the mass variation of 6 gr 700oC temperature is able to reduce ammonia levels from 2 mg/L to 0.2 mg/L.64 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate and water, with or without additives. Concrete is a composite material. It is called a composite because it consists of a binder (usually a mixture of hydraulic cement and water), fine aggregate (usually sand) and coarse aggregate (usually gravel) with or without additives). In this study, the Arduino microcontroller was used as a control system in the measurement process. The sensor used in this study is a half bridge load cell sensor. The mechanics used in this system are manual jack mechanics. With this, research is carried out in testing automation systems and mechanical design in producing a research system with the title "Design of a Compressive Test System for a Material Using the Half Bridge Weight Sensor Method Based on Arduino Microcontrollers". By doing research, it can make an innovation and solution in the development of an efficient pressure testing tool. This metal can be grown before or after the casting process. The compressive strength of the concrete produced by the pull out test is ± 20% of the compressive strength produced by the compression test. Several testing tools in compression testing have been widely used but have high costs. The depth of penetration of the reinforcement shows the strength value of the concrete being tested. This procedure is almost the same as the hammer test, it's just the impact force. And the results of the comparison of the value measurement with the comparison, the average percent error in the above measurement is 0.81%.52 HalamanKertas Karya Diplom

The process of testing and observing the agglutination/non agglutination reaction of red blood cells that have been treated with antisera/serum to determine a person's blood type and rhesus is still carried out by experienced people who rely directly on th eir eyes. Meanwhile, the eyes are greatly influenced by saturation or fatigue factors. So this method is less profitable for testing large quantities of blood samples. In this research, a tool was designed that can read human blood types electronically to make it easier to test large quantities of blood samples. Testing human blood type in this tool uses the ABO system. The tool designed consists of two pairs of light sensors, which are built from LDR components, and a controller system from Arduino. This t ool will detect the occurrence of agglutination/non agglutination reactions from blood samples tested with antisera through a sensor. The tool designed can also detect blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid by using an additional PPG sensor where the blood entered will be compared with the heart rate. Furthermore, the data from the sensor will be conditioned and processed directly by Arduino and the results will be displayed on a 4x20 LCD. Success rate 88%. This tool works by taking a blood sample which is then analyzed using a color sensor to determine blood type and an EC sensor to measure blood sugar levels. The data from the sensors is sent to the ESP32 microcontroller, which processes the data and displays the results on the LCD.75 PagesKertas Karya Diplom
