This thesis focuses on studying the instances where Imam Abu al-Su'ud made amendments to the interpretations of his predecessors in his exegesis of Surahs Ash-Shu'ara and An-Naml. It involves a critical analysis of these amendments and elucidates the added scholarly value they bring. The study also addresses several key questions, including: To what extent are Imam Abu al-Su'ud's amendments to his predecessors' interpretations valid? And how well do these amendments align with the principles and rules of exegesis? The nature of the research necessitated the adoption of a descriptive methodology in the thesis introduction, an inductive approach in tracing his amendments, followed by a critical analytical method in examining these amendments across two chapters. The first chapter discusses Imam's amendments in the exegesis of Surah Al-Shu'ara, totaling nine, while the second chapter deals with the amendments in the exegesis of Surah Al-Naml, totaling eleven .
The study yielded several significant findings, most notably: Imam Abu al-Su'ud's extensive knowledge and broad expertise in various fields. The study also revealed that the number of predominant amendments, which were closer to being accurate, was thirteen, while the less accurate amendments numbered seven. Furthermore, the study demonstrated that most of these amendments are in alignment with the rules and fundamentals of exegesis
Determining u-turn adjustment factor for signalized intersections in Doha, Qatar
This paper summarizes the work conducted to estimating a U-turn adjustment factor at selected signalized intersections in Doha, Qatar. Unfortunately, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) 2010 does not consider the effect of U-turn traffic on the capacity of signalized intersection; therefore, a few researchers attempted to develop U-turn adjustment factors to be added to the HCM analysis of signalized intersections when heavy U-turn traffic exists. To achieve this, the average headway was measured for U-tuning and left-turning vehicles at three different intersections in Doha. To estimate the U-turn adjustment factor, 198 queues with 2,327 U-turn vehicles and 1,564 left-turn vehicles were used to develop a regression model with the headway as the dependent variable and the U-turn percentage as the independent variable. The resulting quadratic model shows an increase in the average headway as the percentage of U-Turn traffic increases, with an R2 of 0.591. This indicates that the presence of U-turning vehicles has a significant effect on increasing the average headway thus reducing the capacity of signalized intersection. The result shows the U-Turn adjustment factor ranges from 0.76 for 100% of U-turn traffic to 0.95 for 10% of U-turn traffic

A longitudinal mixed methods study of twelfth grade Qatari Students’ higher education and occupational choices and the role of family, friends, and school as factors influencing these decisions
This study aims to find out how Qatari twelfth-grade students make decisions relating to their future education and occupations. It is based on information drawn from a mixed methods longitudinal research study carried out over one year in two independent schools in Qatar (one girls’ and one boys’ school) – schools chosen because they had the highest numbers of Qataris attending twelfth grade in the year of data collection. Quantitative data was drawn from a questionnaire answered by 308 Qatari students (185 girls and 123 boys). Qualitative data was obtained by interviewing 21 Qatari students twice (11 girls and 10 boys). The first round of interviews took place while students were in their last semester of schooling and the second round of interviews took place after the students had left school. This study found that parents, especially the father, and older friends are very important in young Qataris’ career
decision-making processes, leading us to consider the methods currently used in school career guidance. It suggests that these may need to be re-thought to ensure they are suitable for everyone. This study also highlights the social pressure applied to Qatari boys, a pressure which interferes with them making their future career decisions freely

Making informed decisions is an essential part of project management as the speed and quality of these decisions immediately affect the project\u27s outcomes. With the quick development of information technology, complex information systems (IS) facilitate decision-making processes at the organizational level. The study explores the influence of information systems (IS) on the project management decision-making process in the highly technologically sophisticated context of the UAE. Through an emphasis on critical elements, including decision speed, quality, and risk management, the study offers a thorough understanding of how information technologies can improve project outcomes.
Methodology: A quantitative research methodology with standardized surveys was employed to gather data from many government and private sector organizations in the UAE, including IT, healthcare, construction, etc. The targeted audience for the research includes professionals actively involved in project management, i.e., project managers, coordinators, team leads, and others. A stratified random sample technique was employed to select the sample respondents randomly. 152 quantitative responses were collected from responders for statistical analysis using JASP software. Quantitative data from the respondent sheet, descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis were carried out on the data obtained.
Findings: The results revealed a moderate positive and statistically significant relationship between better decision-making outcomes and the quality of information systems\u27 output. More specifically, it revealed that superior information systems will result in quicker and better-informed decision-making, which will successfully reduce project risks as a proactive measure.
Unique Contribution to Theory, Practice and Policy: In line with the United Arab Emirates Vision 2021 and efforts towards digital transformation, the research presented useful recommendations for improving project management techniques. The study also adds to the body of knowledge in academia by offering theoretical and empirical support for the idea that information systems play a crucial role in project management. The research provides useful insights for the organization in the areas of strategic investment, operational efficiency, and risk management
Qatar's Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: Pathways for Innovation
This book is about understanding how to build sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems. This term is derived primarily from two research fields: entrepreneurial ecosystems and sustainable development. It will delve into how these two terms combine and introduce the concepts of sustainable innovation, social capital, and communities as drivers of the ecosystem’s development. The book is intended for entrepreneurs, academics, researchers, policymakers, investors, or a combination of these, to learn more about how an individual or institution, from any part of an entrepreneurial ecosystem, can actively enhance sustainable economic growth through innovation. This paper takes the topic of religious freedom. Freedom of belief when faced with the principle of freedom of religion promoted by the declaration of human rights cause differences in public perception. The formulation of freedom of religion can be understood by choosing or embracing a religion, out of a religion and no religion is the scope of freedom of religion. This also affects the law and the provision of transitional religious sanctions contrary to the principle of religious freedom which will affect the violation of human rights. The existence of clash between two interests is the author interested in discussing it further. This research is library research (literature study), with normative approach.
