Teknologi Penangkapan Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus spp.) Ramah Lingkungan dengan Bubu Kubah di Kabupaten Aceh Barat Provinsi Aceh
Fishermen of West Aceh District is still using a tool of unfriendly for environment namely mini trawl for blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus spp) fishing, so that it will impact the ecosytem of the sea and the damage to the fish resources such as blue swimming crab. For that reason, there needs to be an alternative of eco-friendly fishing technology to catching blue swimming crab and replace fishing gear unfriendly for environment i.e. mini trawl and exposing the blue swimming crab fishing is as main activity in West Aceh District where Ujong Baroh Village as pilot projetc location for this activity. The community service program has carried out with IbM activity (Ipteks bagi Masyarakat). The activity was done on February – Agustus 2017, where education, practice and accomponiment was used as methods. IbM program is expected to increase skill and business managerial as well as improving the economic situation of the coastal communities
Penerapan Perangkap Lipat (Traps) untuk Penangkapan Kepiting Bakau (Scylla sp.) di Kabupaten Aceh Barat Provinsi Aceh
Prospect of fishing business of mud crab has became the right choice because demand of mud crab is increasing and market price is relatively good. The availability mud crab for local market in West Aceh District is affected by minimum catch, unefficient fishing, where fishermen is still using traditional fishing gear i.e. scoop net as well as having internal factor and external factor. Because of that, the potential business for mud crab fishing with eco-friendly fishing gear i.e. traps is very good to applied. Applying traps was carried out at Kuala Bubon Village Samatiga Sub district Aceh Barat District Aceh Province. Applying traps is for pilot project for fisherman. The Methods include 1) mentoring and sosialization traps; 2) training for making traps and 3) operating traps. Result of the activity show 1) fish catching using traps is better than using scoop net; 2) increased skilll for fishermen about making traps and 3) increased understanding for fisherman about using eco-friendly fishing gear to catching mud crab. Applying traps for fisherman community is very potential to developed for mud crab fishing business
LAMA PEREDAMAN PERANGKAP LIPAT YANG EFEKTIF UNTUK PENANGKAPAN KEPITING BAKAU (Scylla sp.)
Fishing of mud crab (Scylla sp.) is using many fishing gear type, one of that i.e traps. Immersion periods is one of aspect to consideration to catching mud crab. Therefore, purpose of this study is to know immersion periods to catching mud crab efectively. This study was conducted on September 2016 in estuaries waters, Kuala Bubon Village, Samatiga Sub District, Aceh Barat District. Methods of this study is experimental fishing method and fully randomized design have used for this study. Immersion periods is treatments, i.e 4 hours, 8 hours and 12 hours with 3 replicates. An analysis of variance (ANOVA) at significant level 95% (p 0.05). However, descriptive analysis show that immersing with 12 hours more efective than of 4 hours and 8 hours. This study is important for traps’s fishermen to catching mud crabs, where hauling of traps can be applied in the morning (immersing with 12 hours).
PENGARUH KEDALAMAN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP HASIL TANGKAPAN UDANG GALAH ( Macrobrachium rosenbergii) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ALAT TANGKAP BUBU DI DESA COT SEUMEURENG KECAMATAN SAMATIGA KABUPATEN ACEH BARAT
Shrimp pole vault (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) also known as the Giant Freshwater Shrimp is one type of crustacea, from the family Palamonidae with Macrobrachium rosenbergii species that has the largest size compared to other freshwater shrimp. Shrimp pole vault live in the two habitats,on the larval stadia live in brackish water and return to fresh water in the stadia of juvenile to adult. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the depth of the catch shrimp by trap fishing gears and the depth effective for catching shrimp in the river by using gear bubu. This research has held from November to December 2015. The method used is statistic covering catches efficient and depth of efficient, as well as tabulatedinto table ANOVA and BNT test displayed in the form of histograms. results showed that, the level of depth of 1 m on station P1 does not get results efficiently for catching shrimp pole vault, depth 2 m on station P2 is equal to the depth of 1 meter does not get results efficiently for catching shrimp pole vault, while the most efficient depth is the depth of 3 m with the 3,520 and the rate of arrests are efficient at station P3 with catches 9.87%/3.190 grams. Further test results BNT concluded that 5% get the results 194.7181 whereas BNT 1% get the results 322.8951. different depth Levels give an impact on shrimp catches pole vault and the depth level that is effective for catching shrimp pole vault there is at a depth of 3 m
STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN PERIKANAN CAKALANG YANG BERBASIS DI PELABUHAN PERIKANAN TIPE D KABUPATEN ACEH BARAT, PROVINSI ACEH
Skipjack tuna fishery have significant contribution for production of capture fisheries at West Aceh, Aceh province. Based on that, this research aims to formulate development strategy of skipjack tuna fishery based on type D fishing port at West Aceh District. This research is using qualitative approach, where collecting data method is using survey method and purposive sampling was used for collecting data technique. Analysis hierarchy process (AHP) was used to analysis data. The result show that increasing capital for fishermen is main objective to achieve skipjack tuna fishery development. Then, fisheries business actor has strategic role for skipjack tuna fishery development. As for a scenario to develop skipjack tuna fishery is to enhance capacity of fuel station for fishermen and ice plant that is in type D fishing port. Result of this study will be expected to be consideration for fishery stakeholders in developing skipjack tuna fishery at West Aceh District and that is can improving welfare of the skipjack tuna fishermen
PENGARUH JENIS UMPAN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP HASIL TANGKAPAN KEPITING BAKAU (Scylla serrata) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN ALAT TANGKAP BUBU
Mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) is one of the fishery commodities that have higheconomic value. In addition, mangrove crab is one of export commodities to several countries such as United States, Europe, Australia, Japan, Hongkong,Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea. In general, the fishing activities of mangrove crabs in the general waters of many fishermen use different baits,it's just not known which bait is best for catching mangrove crabs. The purpose ofthis study is to determine the effect of using different types of bait to the mangrove crab catch by using bubu and know the type of bait that is most effective against the catching of mangrove crab. This research method used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with three treatments and three replications: P1 = shredded fish, P2 = Shark skin bark, and P3 = Chicken head bait. The parameters in this study are the number of catches, the feed response and the water quality parameters, the results of this study indicate the number of catches P1 = 55.55%, P2 = 22.22% and P3 = 33.33%. While feed response time in this research P1 = 1.61, P2 = 12.03, and P3 = 11.74. From the results of this study showed the use of different baits have a very significant effect on the number of mangrove crabs (scilla serata). While the feedback response also shows the results are very real (Fcal> Ftab)
Analisis Molekuler dan Status Populasi Hiu yang didaratkan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Aceh Barat
Perairan kabupaten Aceh Barat memiliki sumberdaya jenis ikan yang beragam salah satunya adalah jenis perikanan hiu dan pari. Hiu di Aceh Barat masih banyak diekspolitasi karena nilai ekonomi sirip yang masih tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kekerabatan dan status populasi berbagai jenis hiu yang ditemukan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Aceh Barat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di pelabuhan perikanan dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis molekular terhadap 16 sampel yang ditemukan. Data sekuen kromatogram hasil analisis laboratorium yang diperoleh kemudian disejajarkan menggunakan program Mega X untuk ditranslasikan menjadi data visual basa nukleotida. Hasil identifikasi molekuler pada masing-masing individu memiliki tingkat kemiripan berkisar pada 97%-100%. Hasil analisis rekontruksi filogenetik membentuk lima kelompok dimana kelompok satu terdiri dari individu yang berasal dari jenis Carcharhinus brevipinna, Carcharhinus falciformis, Carcharhinus amboinensis dan Carcharhinus sorrah masing-masing satu individu, kelompok dua terdiri dari individu yang berasal dari jenis Sphyrna lewini sebanyak tiga individu, Sphyrna lewini, kelompok tiga terdiri dari individu yang berasal dari jenis Hemigaleus microstoma sebanyak tiga individu, kelompok empat terdiri dari individu yang berasal dari jenis Alopias pelagicus sebanyak dua individu dan kelompok lima terdiri dari individu yang berasal dari jenis Rhynchobatus australiae sebanyak dua individu yang berasal dari perairan Aceh Barat dan dua individu berasal dari perairan Aceh Jaya. Status populasi delapan spesies yang ditemukan termasuk dalam kategori near threatened (hampir terancam), vulnerable (rentan), endangered (terancam bahaya), critically endangered (terancam punah), extinct in the wild (punah di alam liar) serta extinct (punah) berdasarkan tingkatan status daftar merah yang terdapat pada regulasi IUCN
Penerapan Bubu Ramah Lingkungan (Eco Trap) Sebagai Alat Tangkap Alternatif Bagi Nelayan Hiu di Lhok Susoh, Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya
Kabupaten Aceh Barat Daya terletak pada sisi selatan dan berhadapan langsung dengan Samudera Hindia. Wilayah ini juga termasuk kedalam Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Daerah (KKPD) berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Republik Indonesia No.78/KEPMEN-KP/2020. Salah satu potensi jenis ikan yang banyak ditemukan pada perairan tersebut adalah perikanan hiu. Hiu dikenal dengan ikan teritorial yang sangat erat hubungannya dengan habitat yang ditempatinya. Hal ini dikarenakan hiu menjadi predator puncak pada ekosistem terumbu karang sehingga sangat berperan sebagai penyeimbang sistem rantai makanan pada ekosistem terumbu karang. Masyarakat pesisir Aceh Barat Daya masih melakukan aktifitas penangkapan terhadap populasi hiu, padahal populasi beberapa jenis hiu saat ini mulai terancam karena eksploitasi berlebihan dan permintaan pasar yang tinggi. Dalam hal ini diperlukan upaya peralihan mata pencaharian bagi masyarakat pesisir susoh untuk tidak lagi menjadikan hiu sebagai target utama tangkapan nelayan, dengan tidak mengurangi pendapatan yang selama ini diperoleh oleh nelayan tersebut. Dalam mendukung pengembangan Marine Industry dibidang konservasi, dibutuhkan gagasan yang bersifat teknologi dan terbaru yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat umum secara efektif dan efesien. Salah satu alat tangkap alternatif yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh nelayan hiu adalah bubu ramah lingkungan (Eco Trap). Eco Trap memiliki keunggulan dalam selektifitas dan efektifitas serta hasil tangkapan dengan nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian akan dilaksanakan dengan tahapan survey lapangan, persiapan alat dan bahan, pembuatan kontruksi media bubu, aplikasi bubu ramah lingkungan, monitoring dan evaluasi serta pembuatan laporan kegiatan dan publikasi ilmiah. Rumpon Atraktor Ijuk: Teknologi Alat Bantu Penangkapan Ikan untuk Nelayan Kabupaten Nagan Raya, Provinsi Aceh
Traditional fish aggregating devices (FADs) as fishing aids for surface gill net to catch pelagic fish were used by fishery community partner at Kuala Pesisir Sub District Nagan Raya District, so that operational/maintenance is high cost and those incomes of gill net’s fishermen obtains small. Therefore, palm fiber FADs technology is expected to alternatively increase income of surface gill net fishermen. Education, training, and accompaniment is approached to accomplish fishermen problems. Community partnership programe (PKM) was conducted in March until November 2018. Community partnership programe has increased knowledge and skill for fishery community. In addition, the quality of palm fiber FADs technology is better than the traditional FADs and production of fish catching
STUDI PENDAPATAN DAN POLA BAGI HASIL NELAYAN PUKAT PAYANG YANG MENGGUNAKAN ALAT BANTU RUMPON
Rumpon (fish aggregating device) is a tool for fisherman to catch fish in the sea. This research aims to know income level and plural by used sharing profit of seine net (pukat payang) with fish aggregating devices (FADs). This study have done on Agustus-September 2016, at fish landing of Ujong Baroh (PPI Ujong Baroh) district of West Aceh. Survey method was used for this study analysis of data is using deep profit analysis with to considering investment value and cutback and also descriptive analysis. Income per month for each fisherman is Rp. 2.642.776,3,-; ship-owner (Toke Boat) Rp. 29.599.095,6,-; wholesaler (Toke Bangku) Rp. 7.399.774,-. Percentage of sharing profit at fish landing of ujong Baroh is for ship-owner 40%, fisherman 50% and wholesaler 10%.
