Estimating Farm Efficiency in the Presence of Double Heteroscedasticity Using Panel Data
Full text linkThe accuracy of technical efficiency measures is important given the interest in such measures in policy discussions. In recent years the use of stochastic frontiers has become popular for estimating technical inefficiency, but estimated inefficiencies are sensitive to specification errors. One source of such errors is heteroscedasticity. This paper addresses this issue by extending the Hadri (1999) correction for heteroscedasticity to stochastic production frontiers and to panel data. It is argued that heteroscedasticity within an estimation can have a significant effect on results, and that correcting for heteroscedasticity yields more accurate measures of technical inefficiency. Using panel data on cereal farms, it is found that the usual technical efficiency measures used in stochastic production frontiers are significantly sensitive to the extended correction for heteroscedasticity.stochastic frontier production, heteroscedasticity, technical efficiency, panel data

Multifunctional furniture is designed to provide more comfort, especially in small spaces such as apartments or condos. The study of folding furniture was critical in order to complete this project and guarantee the understanding on what are needed to do based on the project objectives. The goal of this project is to create a virtual prototype of a folding workstation that can be folded to save space. The design of the folding component, particularly the hinge part, is usually problematic. Collecting information, problem identification, research analysis, design process, mock-up building, prototype construction, and prototype analysis are all part of this project's product design process. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi
komunikasi dakwah Guru M. Hadri kepada jemaah ibu-ibu di Majelis Taklim
Raudhatul Jannah, Desa Lok Baintan Dalam, Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk. Dakwah
efektif memerlukan strategi komunikasi yang sesuai dengan latar belakang
jemaah. Guru M. Hadri dikenal menggunakan pendekatan humoris yang menarik
perhatian jemaah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data
melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
Guru M. Hadri menggunakan strategi komunikasi efektif seperti pendekatan
personal, cerita, tanya jawab, ceramah, dan nasihat. Strategi ini disesuaikan
dengan latar belakang sosial, pendidikan, dan ekonomi jemaah, sehingga
meningkatkan penerimaan dan pemahaman pesan dakwah.
Keberhasilan dakwah Guru M. Hadri didukung oleh kredibilitas dan
reputasinya, dukungan keluarga, serta pendekatan personal yang mendalam.
Namun, terdapat hambatan seperti padatnya jadwal, kondisi psikologis jemaah
yang malu atau segan, dan kurangnya pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai alat
dakwah
Financial Market Integration of South Asian Countries: Panel data Analysis
Full text linkAccording to Frankel (1992) in order to find financial integration from Feldstein Horoika (FH, 1980) model, the real interest parity must hold. This paper estimates the degree of financial market integration of South Asian countries i.e. Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal with both the techniques. The study finds some degree of integration with FH model has which increased after 1990s, post liberalization period. Furthermore, Panel Unit Root techniques i.e. LLC, IPS and Hadri has been used to estimate the real interest rate differentials (RIDs) of South Asian countries are found to be stationary with USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Sweden, Netherland, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore, China and Japan. The empirical evidence of integration with both the techniques in my study is unique in the literature. HADRILM: Stata module to perform Hadri panel unit root test

This Lagrange Multiplier (LM) test has a null of stationarity, and its test statistic is distributed as standard normal under the null. The series may be stationary around a deterministic level, specific to the unit (i.e. a fixed effect) or around a unit-specific deterministic trend. The error process may be assumed to be homoskedastic across the panel, or heteroskedastic across units. The residual-based test is based on the squared partial sum process of residuals from a demeaning (detrending) model of level (trend) stationarity. This is version 1.0.3 of the software. Most of the disc that sold are quite heavy and thick which difference than our disc which is much more comfortable to use and not so heavy and thick.
