The application of the website in Village Government can also be useful for informing news or services the community. Therefore, here the author creates an information website for Pondoknongko Village Government. In Pondoknongko Village itself, it does not yet have an information website that is easy to access by admins and users. Indeed, there is already a built-in website from the government, but the admin is still having a hard time adapting and accessing it. There were many deficiencies in the previous website, such as the difficulty of accessing data, and adding and editing data. Therefore, the solution to overcome this problem is to create a website that uses Strapi as a database manager so that it is easy for the admin to manage the data that will be loaded on the information website. The author uses Strapi as a data manager and Graphql as a liaison between the Back end and Front End. This research is also based on a review of the information system used by Pondoknongko Village, the website created has been successfully developed and put to good use by Pondoknongko Village and the community

Grogol is one of the villages located in the District Giri, Banyuwangi, East Java province and has 9 hamlets, 12 citizens association, and 32 neighborhood association. Hamlets in Grogol village, namely: Guwo, Kedawung, Kopendukuh, Krajan, Laos, Lebak, Mangli, Pelinggihan and Rupi. Population information at the Grogol village still manual, making it difficult for the village, especially the operator in inputting data on population, the data family card (KK) and the manufacture of KK's new. Methods used information system design of productive age population and the birth rate in the Grogol village. Content design and management menu using Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and the Java programming language. The conclusion of this study is the Information System Design of Productive Age Population and Birth Numbers in the Grogol village already been uploaded to the web with URL: http://kependudukan.tendotama.com, making it easier for users to input data and data population KK. Making statistics on the productive age population and the birth rate can be more easily with the facilities provided in the web-shaped graph. Grogol village population of productive age: the age of 0-15 years as many as 862 people, as many as 3740 people 16-65 years and 65 years and over as many as 487 people. Grogol village population birth rate of the year 1980-2015 increased by 15 times and decreased 20 times

Data on population in the village of Grogol Subdistrict, Giri, Banyuwangi tend to bestatic. This is because Councilor in charge of doing data management does not update the data on population according with the conditions that exist in the community. Population data for validation, they relied on data from the Census of population conducted the Government ten years. By using the technology of Three Tier, those problems will be overcome quickly. This is because the entire population data will be able to direlasikan each other, so that when the data changes all the data components of population change such data will adjust automatically. From this research can produce valid residency data So when local Governments ask for current data, the village can instantly give it without having to wait for data from the population census

Efficient Software Development Process Using Component-Based and ORM

    Get PDF
The software development process has many variations. Each software development technique has its own advantages and disadvantages. There are efficient development processes and some could be more efficient. This research aims to build a web-based application efficiently utilizing component-based and ORM with a case study of financial management applications on community radio. This research begins with data collection through observations and interviews, requirement analysis, and system design, implementation, and testing. This research shows that combining component-based software development and object-relational mapping (ORM) can increase software development efficiency compared to non-component-based and pure SQL

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    Get PDF
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
