Promoting Gender Awareness through a Multicultural Approach in History Learning
No full textThis research is based on an awareness of the imbalance of gender representation in history teaching. For a long time, historical narratives constructed in history textbooks have often ignored women's contributions and created a limited narrative regarding the role of gender in the development of society. Indonesian historical narratives need to be reformulated through a multicultutal perspective approach to include the experiences and contributions of diverse gender groups from diverse backgrounds and cultures in the teaching of history. The purpose of this research is to strive for critical, sustainable and transformative reflection in teaching gender-aware history through a multicultural perspective. This research method uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The result of this research is a deep understanding and awareness of gender to students as well as knowledge of gender imbalance in Indonesian history materials

Distorsi informasi sejarah dalam konten media sosial, khususnya di Tiktok, menimbulkan tantangan baru dalam pendidikan sejarah karena informasi yang disebarkan seringkali bersifat sederhana, provokatif, dan kurang akurat secara historiografis. Studi ini didorong oleh fenomena penyebaran konten sejarah yang luas di Tiktok yang tidak sesuai dengan fakta sejarah, namun tetap popular dan dipercaya oleh peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak distorsi informasi sejarah dalam konten video di Tiktok terhadap pemahaman sejarah peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Garut. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistic inquiry, yang berfokus pada pengamatan partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan peserta didik dan guru sejarah, serta analisis dokumen terhadap konten sejarah yang dikonsumsi oleh peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik terpengaruh oleh konten sejarah yang tidak valid di TikTok, yang menyebabkan interpretasi yang salah terhadap peristiwa sejarah, keterampilan berpikir kritis yang lemah terkait sumber, dan munculnya persepsi sejarah yang sempit dan bias. Di sisi lain, guru memainkan peran krusial dalam mengatasi distorsi tersebut melalui pendekatan pendidikan yang menekankan klarifikasi sumber, diskusi terbuka, dan peningkatan literasi media. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan bahwa pendidikan sejarah di era digital harus disertai dengan strategi pedagogis yang adaptif dan kritis, sehingga peserta didik dapat membedakan antara narasi sejarah yang valid dan yang terdistorsi, serta tumbuh menjadi subjek aktif dalam membangun pemahaman sejarah yang reflektif dan bertanggung jawab.

ABSTRACT
Distorted historical information in social media content, particularly on TikTok, poses new challenges for history education because the information disseminated is often simplistic, provocative, and historically inaccurate. This study was prompted by the widespread dissemination of historical content on TikTok that does not align with historical facts, yet remains popular and trusted by students. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of distorted historical information in video content on TikTok on the historical understanding of 11th-grade students at SMAN 1 Garut. The method used is qualitative with a naturalistic inquiry approach, focusing on participatory observation, in-depth interviews with students and history teachers, and document analysis of historical content consumed by students. The results of the study indicate that most students are influenced by invalid historical content on TikTok, leading to misinterpretations of historical events, weak critical thinking skills regarding sources, and the emergence of narrow and biased historical perceptions. On the other hand, teachers play a crucial role in addressing these distortions through educational approaches that emphasize source clarification, open discussion, and media literacy enhancement. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that history education in the digital age must be accompanied by adaptive and critical pedagogical strategies, so that students can distinguish between valid and distorted historical narratives and grow into active subjects in building reflective and responsible historical understanding.

Enhancing the Skill of Grade 5 Students to Correctly Pronounce Alphabet Using the Phonetic Method at Thammislam Foundation School in Bangkok, Thailand
No full textThere are various a variety of problems that students must confront with that become barriers to the improvement of their English skills, based to research on how to teach English as a foreign language in Thailand. One of them is the students lack of inspire in learning English and their pronunciation when speaking and when pronunciation of letters of the alphabet. A few children even struggle to write their names using the alphabet because they always use their native tongue. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by showing students how to remember the alphabet phonetic method by using words starting with each letter in the alphabet. The Thammislam Foundation School's 27 students were part of this study who participated in this research. Furthermore, this study aims to enhance the English language outcomes for learning. The steps taken by the author include creating a stimulating educational setting, implementing English learning materials easier to understand, and including students more in each lesson so that they ought to participate and increase more confidence in speaking English

No full textDesa Pamotan merupakan wilayah yang berada di bawah administrasi Kecamatan Kalipucang, Kabupaten Pangandaran, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Destinasi potensial wisata yang dapat diangkat di desa ini sangat unik dan beragam salah satunya wisata alam, budaya , dan situs bersejarah peninggalan zaman kolonial Belanda. Namun seluruh unsur potensial wisata di Desa Pamotan ini  terabaikan dan dipandang sebelah mata baik oleh pemerintah setempat, dinas pariwisata dan budaya, dan PT. KAI sebagai wadah dalam pengembangan aset potensial peninggalan Belanda. Oleh karena itu, perlu suatu upaya yang benar-benar nyata untuk mengangkat aset potensial wisata desa ini. Aset wisata potensial Desa Pamotan paling menarik yaitu Terowongan Wilhelmina yang sering disebut dengan Terowongan Sumber. Terowongan ini termasuk terpanjang se-Indonesia dengan total 1,1 km yang menghubungkan Banjar dan Cijulang namun ditutup pada 1984. Selain itu, Jembatan Panjang Cikacepit dengan panjang 290 meter layak pula untuk dibuka kembali sebagai destinasi wisata selain Air Terjun Alami yang dinamakan Air Terjun Sabot I dan II. Potensi wisata keempat yaitu Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Majingklak yang terletak di Dusun Majingklak yang merupakan akses penyeberangan ke pulau dan Pantai Putih Nusa Kambangan dan Kampung Laut Cilacap Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Lokasi terakhir yaitu Palatar Agung yang terletak di Dusun Ciawitali dengan wisata andalan yang menjual panorama persawahan dan laut. Kelima aset potensial wisata ini sangat unik dan pantas diangkat menjadi wisata yang sesungguhnya. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang telah disebutkan, maka telah menginspirasi kami membuat program Kader Wisata Muda Desa Pamotan sebagai program kreativitas kami yang merekrut pemuda lokal berusia antara 13-18 tahun menjadi pelopor utama dalam pengangkatan potensi wisata desa. Pelatihan public speaking tiga bahasa yaitu Sunda, Indonesia, dan Inggris diberikan tim program sekaligus promo wisata lewat media sosial demi peningkatan aset potensi daerah. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu menarik minat wisatawan lokal dan mancanegara sehingga masyarakat, pemerintah Kabupaten Pangandaran, dan instansi pemerintah terkait lebih peduli akan situs peninggalan berupa cagar budaya yang mampu meningkatkan perekonomian daerah dan pencapaian Desa Wisata Pamotan yang mandiri

Technology is used as a medium to achieve and pursue profit goals both in terms of sales, transactions, finance or services, for example startups. Various companies with new innovations are born, especially in the field of technology, and startups are often discussed by many people [1]. Keenansupercar is a startup that takes part in the transportation aspect, namely car rental that focuses on luxury cars. Keenansupercar is present as a car rental service platform that makes it easier for car renters to get information about the cars they want to rent in Bali. The problem faced by the Keenansupercar startup is that there is no business evaluation for achieving targets in the near future at the Keenansupercar startup, so that the achievement results are not in accordance with the target desired by the Keenansupercar startup. Therefore, the author makes a short-term business evaluation using the Objective and Key Results (OKR) method so that Keenansupercar startups can be more sensitive and responsive to changes and make Keenansupercar startups achieve the desired targets.Seiring pesatnya kemajuan teknologi di era globalisasi ini, menyebabkan pengaruh dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan terutama di bidang teknologi semakin meningkat. Teknologi digunakan sebagai media untuk mencapai dan mengejar tujuan keuntungan baik dari segi penjualan, transaksi, keuangan ataupun jasa contohnya startup. Berbagai perusahaan dengan inovasi baru yang lahir, terutama di bidang teknologi, dan startup menjadi hal yang sering diperbicangkan oleh banyak orang [1]. Keenansupercar merupakan startup yang berkiprah di aspek transportasi yaitu rental mobil yang berfokus pada mobil-mobil mewah. Keenansupercar hadir sebagai platform jasa sewa mobil yang mempermudah para penyewa mobil dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang mobil yang ingin disewa di Bali. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh startup Keenansupercar adalah belum adanya evaluasi usaha untuk pencapaian target dalam jangka waktu yang dekat pada startup Keenansupercar, sehingga hasil capaian belum sesuai dengan target yang diinginkan oleh startup Keenansupercar. Oleh karena itu penulis membuat evaluasi usaha dengan jangka waktu pendek menggunakan metode Objective and Key Results (OKR) sehingga startup Keenansupercar dapat lebih peka dan reponsif terhadap perubahan dan menjadikan startup Keenansupercar dapat mencapai target yang diinginkan
