Fecal Bacteriotherapy: A Case Report in an Immunosuppressed Patient with Ulcerative Colitis and Recurrent Clostridium difficile Infection
We report a case of ulcerative colitis (UC) and recurrent Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) where the patient was on immunomodulatory therapy and had successful CDI eradication after fecal transplantation. This is the first case report in the literature documenting successful C. difficile eradication in an immunosuppressed patient. We feel that fecal transplantation should be studied as a treatment option in these patients

A Rare Case of Diffuse Alveolar Hemorrhage Secondary to Acute Pulmonary Histoplasmosis
Diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) is a rare presentation of acute pulmonary histoplasmosis. While histoplasmosis has been reported to cause hemoptysis and alveolar hemorrhage in children, the English language literature lacks any adult case reports documenting this association. We report a case of pulmonary histoplasmosis where the initial presentation was pneumonia with a subsequent diagnosis of DAH

thesises and 10 sentences, followed by TCP with 4 thesises from 20 thesises and 6
sentences, thus QASO with 3 thesis from 20 thesises and 3 sentences, next is CP-DCFOW with 2 thesis from 20 thesis and 2 sentences, and last is QOUW with 1
thesis from 20 thesises and 1 sentence, the conclusion is there is still plagiarism in
thesis 2020 with the highest frequency is TCP-MA
Early Disseminated Lyme Disease with Multiple Cranial Neuropathy
Introduction: Lyme disease, caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi and transmitted by the Ixodes tick, encompasses a variety of symptoms across multiple stages. Early localized Lyme disease may present within 1 month of tick bite with erythema migrans, arthralgias, and fever. Disseminated infection typically occurs 3 to 12 weeks later and can cause neurologic symptoms of dizziness, headache, diplopia, cranial neuropathy, cranial nerve (CN) VII palsy, meningitis, encephalopathy, and cardiac arrhythmia or heart block. Late Lyme disease may arise after months or years and is characteristically associated with monoarticular arthritis. Among patients who have cranial neuropathy in early disseminated Lyme disease, 80% have CN VII involvement, but optic and extraocular neuropathy may occur.
Clinical Findings: We describe a case of a patient in their 60s who presented with erythema migrans, headache, neck pain, and diplopia, and they were found to have right CN VI palsy. A brain magnetic resonance imaging showed diffuse enhancement of the bilateral oculomotor nerves, trigeminal nerves, abducens nerves, and CN IX/X/XI complexes; patchy enhancement of the right facial nerve; and pachymeningeal enhancement.
Clinical Course: Although initial testing for Lyme disease antibodies was negative in serum and cerebrospinal fluid, a repeat serum enzyme-linked immunoabsorbent assay was positive. After a course of intravenous ceftriaxone and methylprednisolone followed by oral doxycycline, their skin lesions, headache, neck pain, and diplopia resolved.
Conclusions: Lyme disease may involve multiple CNs and present with diverse neurologic symptoms, even before seroconversion occurs. Our unique case of neuroborreliosis—which presented as headache followed by diplopia, neck pain, and CN VI palsy, with diffuse CN involvement shown on magnetic resonance imaging—responded well to treatment
Factors Affecting The Saudi Gen-Z To Adopt The Metaverse Workplace : Application Of Utaut2
The metaverse concept gained traction, notably in 2021, when Facebook changed its name to Meta
and Nvidia's CEO stated that the company's next step would be establishing a metaverse. However,
the historical context is rarely presented; in 1992, American author Neal Stephenson's science
fiction novel Snow Crash introduced the metaverse concept for the first time. In Snow Crash, the
protagonists morph into avatars and function in the metaverse, a three-dimensional (3D) virtual
Reality. This notion evolved and took on several shapes. Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality,
lifelogging, and Mirror World users have significantly impacted an individual level and society in
various fields such as education, health, and the workplace. This research paper is determined to
measure the potential of gen z in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to adopt the concept of the
"metaverse workplace" by developing a thorough grasp of the factors that influence the Saudi Z -
generation's attraction to the digital realm of the metaverse as a new career prospect for future
growth. Using Google Forms, a quantitative questionnaire with 18 items was employed as the data
collection strategy for the methodology. Range from short answer questions to ranking questions
to multiple choice questions. to the intended audience. Which are "Gen Z," who are now enrolled
in universities. The number of respondents are 250 and the results show that performance and
facilitating conditioning are the most significant elements to the process of adopting the metaverse
work place . Due to the paucity of research on this topic in Saudi Arabia, this study has added to
the body of knowledge in this area
Panel. Translation and Tastemaking
An Afterlife in the Arab World: William Faulkner and Ghassan Kanafani / Zainah Asfoor, University of Texas, DallasGhassan Kanafani, a Palestinian writer during the 20th century, attributed William Faulkner’s The Sound and the Fury as the influence for his 1966 novella Ma Tabaqa Lakum (All That’s Left to You), a story of a man who leaves Gaza after his unmarried sister becomes pregnant and brings shame to the family. This paper will study the literary and thematic connections to The Sound and the Fury that emerge in Kanafani’s novella, as well as discuss how Jabra Ibrahim Jabra’s Arabic translation of The Sound and the Fury (which Kanafani most probably read) influenced and aided Kanafani to use literary devices, which include stream-of-consciousness, multiple narrators, and time shifts within the narration, in Arabic print.Faulkner, Gallimard, and the Nouvelle Revue Française / Fábio R. Mariano, State University of CampinasThe history of Faulkner’s reception in France is an important chapter in Faulkner studies. In order to analyze it, one may hugely benefit of first understanding the French literary environment, authors and main protagonists according to the time span chosen for scrutiny. This panel looks at the French thirties, when Faulkner was first translated into French, aiming at elucidating the role of two of major institutions in French literature then, the Editions Gallimard and the Nouvelle Revue Française. Both have been extremely important in establishing Faulkner’s French reputation, as well as shaping what avant-garde literature meant in France. I Only Wish to be Entertained by Some of Your Grosser Reminiscences : Faulkner and American Literary Culture in the Age of Alexander Woolcott / Tim A. Ryan, Northern Illinois UniversityFaulkner’s major works emerged into an American literary scene dominated by the tastes of Alexander Woollcott, the middlebrow critic, broadcaster, professional ham, and self-appointed cultural arbiter. Although the two had little in common, Woollcott twice played a crucial role in Faulkner’s commercial fortunes. His aggressive publicity campaign made Sanctuary an unexpected bestseller, while his later creation of the Viking Portable series enabled the Mississippi author to cement his growing national reputation. This paper explores Sanctuary as a dramatization of the tensions between Faulkner’s high modernist aesthetic and the dominant literary culture as constructed and disseminated by Woollcott

Daptomycin Failure for Treatment of Pulmonary Septic Emboli in Native Tricuspid and Mitral Valve Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus Endocarditis
Daptomycin has been used with success for the treatment of right-sided methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) endocarditis. However, its efficacy has not been completely assessed for the treatment of MRSA endocarditis when it is associated with pulmonary septic emboli. Hereby, we present a case of MRSA mitral and tricuspid native valve endocarditis with pulmonary septic emboli, which was treated with daptomycin as a sole agent, resulting in worsening pulmonary infiltrates and treatment failure
