Hassan ibn Thabit, a True Mukhadram: A Study of the Ghassanid Odes of Hassan ibn Thabit
Ph.D.The seventh-century Madinan poet Hassan ibn Thabit is best known for his role as poet laureate of the Prophet Muhammad. His poetry composed in defense of Muhammad and the nascent religion of Islam has been widely studied, and it is in this context that Hassan appears in Arabic literary history. This dissertation argues that in addition to his role as an exemplar of poetry in the service of Islam, Hassan can be viewed as a true mukhadram. The mukhadramun (singular: mukhadram) were a class of poets whose lives spanned both the pre-Islamic and the Islamic periods. To appreciate Hassan's identity as a transitional figure, the poet's pre-Islamic compositions must be examined in greater depth. Prior to the rise of Islam, Hassan served as the primary court poet to the Ghassanids, a sedentary, Christian kingdom located in modern-day Syria and Jordan. This study analyzes Hassan's twenty-six Ghassanid poems and fragments. Although many of the selected poems date from the pre-Islamic period, several were composed near the end of Hassan's life when he nostalgically recalled his youth in the company of the Ghassanids. The method of analysis utilized in this dissertation relies on close reading and in-depth textual analysis of selected verses and poems. This study reveals Hassan to be a pioneer in the urbanization of Arabic poetry and a precursor to the poets of the later `Abbasid caliphate who replaced the desert themes and motifs prevalent in pre-Islamic poetry with those more appropriate to their urban environments. Hassan's compositions demonstrate not only a familiarity with the urban landscape of the Ghassanids but also a clear disdain for the pastoral lifestyle of the Arab nomads. Hassan's urbanism is one illustration of his status as a mukhadram. This study also examines the wine lyric within Hassan's Ghassanid poetry. The poet's verses in praise of wine date from both the pre-Islamic and the Islamic periods and are further evidence of Hassan's embodiment of the mukhadram predicament

He made great efforts in the promotion of Persian language as well as Turkish language in sub-continet and not only taught Turkish language to his students but also encouraged them to write and compile books in Turkish language. Qateel himself worked on Turkish language and literature in three contexts. He wrote letters in Turkish language to his friends and students, discussed the grammatical structure of Turkish language in his works like "Nahr ul Fasahat" and "Char Sharbat" and compiled stories in Turkish language. This article deals with the contribution of Mirza Muhammad Hassan Qateel towards Turkish language and literature
Lead Toxicity-Mediated Growth and Metabolic Alterations at Early Seedling Stages of Maize (Zea mays L.)
To investigate the toxic effects of lead (Pb) on key metabolic activities essential for proper germination and seedling growth of maize seeds, experiments were carried out with different levels of Pb (0 to 120 mg of Pb L−1 as PbCl2) applied through growth medium to two maize hybrids H-3310S and H-6724. The research findings indicated that growth and metabolic activities were adversely affected by increased Pb contamination in growth medium; however, a slow increase in these parameters was recorded with increasing time from 0 to 120 h. Protease activity decreased with an increase in the level of Pb contamination but increased with time; consequently, a reduction in seed proteins and an increase in total free amino acids were observed with time. Similarly, α-amylase activity decreased with an increase in Pb concentration in growth medium while it increased with increasing time from 0 to 120 h; consequently, reducing and non-reducing sugars increased with time but decreased with exposure to lead. The roots of both maize hybrids had higher Pb contents than those of the shoot, which decreased the uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. All these nutrients are essential for optimal plant growth; therefore, the reduction in growth and biomass of maize seedlings could be due to Pb toxicity that altered metabolic processes, as sugar and amino acids are necessary for the synthesis of metabolic compounds, rapid cell division, and proper functioning of enzymes in the growing embryo, but all were dramatically reduced due to suppression of protease and α-amylase by toxicity of Pb. In general, hybrid H-3310S performed better in Pb-contaminated growth medium than H-6724
Polybenzimidazole-1D interconnected carbon framework decorated with nickel manganese oxide nanoparticles for hybrid supercapacitors
This study explores the synthesis and characterization of a ternary nanocomposite made up of nickel manganese oxide (NMO), polybenzimidazole (pBIM), and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) for supercapacitor applications. Material characterizations confirm the structural integrity and uniformity of the synthesized components, which highlight their potential for stable performance. Through comprehensive electrochemical evaluations using cyclic voltammetry (CV), galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), the NMO-pBIM-MWCNT ternary nanocomposite shows exceptional specific capacitance, energy density, and power density due to the synergistic effects among its components. The hybrid electrode achieves a maximum specific capacitance of 1766 Fg−1 and an energy density of 62 Wh kg−1. The fabricated symmetric supercapacitor device demonstrates a specific capacitance of 378.9 F g−1, an energy density of 36.4 Wh kg−1, and a power density of 171.5 W kg−1 at a current density of 0.1 Ag−1. We also investigate practical applications of the flexible supercapacitor device, showcasing its potential to power various loads with LED arrays. This study advances supercapacitor technology and highlights the versatility of ternary nanocomposites in meeting the evolving demands for energy storage
The exegesis of Tabatabaei and the Hermeneutics of Hirsch: a comparative study
This thesis is a comparative study between Hermeneutics on the one hand and exegesis of the Holy Qur'an on the other. Its objective is to discover whether there are salient points of convergence between the two disciples, and whether issues germane to the Hermeneutical tradition in the West have been referred to and/or employed in Muslim works of Qur'an commentary. To this end, the works of one of the most prominent Shi'ite philosophers and exegetes. Allama Mohammad Hossein Tabataei, have been analysed and compared with the perspective and methodology of E D. Hirsch, one of the most important hermeneuticians in the Western World. Hirsch has been chosen since, in the opinion of the author, there is a considerable number of commonalities between the Hirschian approach to hermeneutics and the exegetical methodology of Tabatabaei and other Shi'ite Muslim interpreters of the Qur'an.. Hirsch, as an objectivist, along with a number of other Hermeneutical scholars, are critical of those who subscribe to philosophical Hermeneutics, such as Heideger and Gadimer. The same approach is taken in Tabatabaei's works, thus providing a strong rationale for an academic comparison of these two scholars. For this reason, this thesis attempts to study the theories of Tabatabaei and Hirsch in order to highlight the similarities and differences in their works. The central hypothesis is that while small differences in approach exist, there is much common ground, and that it is possible to use certain facets of Hirschian hermeneutics in the interpretation of the Qur'an, thus modernising some of the existing exegetical approaches employed by Shi'ite scholars.Since the aim of this thesis is to compare the interpretive works of Tabatabaei with those of Hirsch's, an introductory chapter has been dedicated to the study of the evolution of Shi'ite exegesis from the beginning to date. Tabatabaei's Al-Mizan has been chosen as the foremost work of Shi'ite exegesis in the modem period. Furthermore, a complete chapter has also been dedicated to Tabatabai's exegetical modus operandi as reflected in Al-Mizan, in order to arrive at a better understanding of his perspectives. This research arrives at the conclusion that philosophical Hermeneutics and Epistemology have opened new horizons on which we will always be dependent. Whatever interpretive theories with regards to the understanding of the text are accepted, or whatever the tendency as far as literary criticism is concerned, or whatever ideas are accepted in the arena of philosophy of human and social sciences, the discussion of the nature of understanding in general cannot be avoided. This does not mean that Hermeneutics is limited to these new theories. Rather, the opportunity always exists to introduce new interpretive theories in connection with the understanding of the text. It is indeed possible to study these discussions in detail in a separate sphere independent of the other branches of Islamic sciences and arrive at a number of stable principles in the interpretation of the text in Islamic research

This is because of the poets of all different nations and peoples have explain that different aspects and have expressed them emotions in different formats. Among the poets in Arabic Literature is Sharif Radi who is Himself a descendant of Imam Hussein (AS). Among the poets of the Persian language can be named Adibolmamalek Farahani who with his brilliant Ashura Refrain mechanic has showed his art, and Among the poets in Turk poets is Fuzuli baghdadi who Is written Ashura poems and with Hadikatu's-suada and is the focus of most attention among the Turkic-speaking poets. This paper wish discussed common underlying Hosseini Lamentations of Odes of Sharif Radi, Return-tie of Adibolmamalek Farahani and Hadikatu's-suada of Muhammad Fuzuli with Analytic method. The poets According to their position in the cultures and separate courses each of them with different motives have expressed Imam innocence in the event of Ashura. Thus, despite different motivations for the burning of expression overlap in their contents is visible, Common themes, such as Attention of the three poets to issue of Karbala and Mention of Imam Hassan (AS) martyrdom in dealing with the event of Ashura, thirst, tears, and hurt the testimony of the Prophet (PBUH) because of event of Karbala is from these cases
