No full textEl 11 de marzo de 1990, Augusto Pinochet entregó la banda presidencial al líder de la Democracia Cristiana, Patricio Aylwin, después de 17 años de feroz dictadura. Su larga permanencia en el poder, años durante los cuales hubo una progresiva concentración de autoridad en sus manos y en las instituciones que presidió cuando fue jefe de la Junta militar, jefe supremo de la nación y luego presidente de la República, contribuyó a difundir la imagen de una dictadura personalista. Dicho retrato fue alimentado por el protagonismo del que podía presumir el dictador incluso después de la vuelta a la democracia, cuando utilizaba su poder para intervenir (e interferir) en el proceso político, para proteger a la “familia militar”, para obstruir la búsqueda de la verdad en el frente de las violaciones de los derechos humanos. En realidad, la dictadura chilena fue mucho más compleja de lo que se piensa. Es más, dicha complejidad ayudaría a explicar, al menos en parte, la cuantiosa herencia que tendría que afrontar el país en los años venideros

Eco-solutions for new lands, funded by our University with the funds of the V:ALERE project. This funding is intended to support the work of our researchers, promoting their role as principal investigators in research projects.
The PURE project, led by a research group of the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design - DADI coordinated by Giuseppe Guida, has started from some research hypotheses according to which starting from what of active or abandoned remains from the phenomenon of the Industrial Development Areas there are conditions to propose redevelopment strategies and to reinterpret their role in the territory. For the DADI research team these areas can be redesigned as containers for environmental infrastructure, urban and metropolitan equipment, slow mobility routes, even wooded areas able to coexist with the production realities still present or to be installed

electroweak interactions, are investigated. Particular attention is paid to the
correct functional integration over fermion fields in the background of
instanton-anti\-instanton type configurations. This leads to an expansion of
correlation functions in terms of a small parameter, , when the
instanton-antiinstanton separation () is large compared to their sizes
(). Applying such a method to widely discussed cases of fermion-number
violation in the electroweak theory, we conclude that there are no theoretical
basis for expecting anomalous cross sections to become observable at energies
in the TeV region
FERMIONS IN THE INSTANTON ANTI-INSTANTON VALLEY AND HIGH-ENERGY ELECTROWEAK INTERACTIONS
No full textWe consider the behavior of fermions in the background of instanton-anti-instanton valley fields. Several different physics problems, from the high-energy electroweak interactions to the study of vacuum structure of QCD and of large orders of perturbation theory, are related to this problem. The spectrum of the Dirac operator in such a background is studied in detail. We present an approximation for the fermion correlation function when the instanton-anti-instanton separation (R) is large compared to their sizes (rho). The situation where the instanton-anti-instanton overlap and melt is studied through the behavior of the Chem-Simons number as a function of R/rho and x4. Applying our results to widely discussed cases of fermion-number violation in the electroweak theory, we conclude that there is no theoretical basis for expecting anomalous cross-sections to become observable at energies in the 10 TeV region

No full textLe linee guida si configurano come strumenti metodologici e operativi di supporto alla progettazione di strutture sociosanitarie che considerano prioritarie le esigenze di benessere psico-socio-fisico degli utenti. A partire dall'analisi degli utenti e dal quadro esigenziale, per i principali spazi di ogni struttura socio-sanitaria considerata (strutture complesse di Medicina generale e di Oncologia e Case della Salute), sono stati delineati i requisiti spaziali e ambientali e sono state strutturate specifiche linee guida valide per la progettazione delle diverse tipologie di strutture sanitarie nell'ottica dell'umanizzazione. Per facilitare la lettura e l'impiego, le ‘raccomandazioni progettuali' sono state strutturate per spazio funzionale e sono state arricchite di suggestioni fotografiche esemplificative. Le linee guida per la progettazione sono articolate in tre sezioni: - riferimenti scientifico-culturali, strutturati secondo le classi esigenziali, tratti da indagini analitiche della letteratura inter- nazionale e da rilevazioni dirette; - raccomandazioni progettuali, che riguardano le caratteristiche morfologiche dello spazio, quelle dell'involucro spaziale, le dotazioni e gli arredi; - caratteristiche funzionali, riferite alle tipologie di spazi funzionali più significativi e riportanti le principali indicazioni normative, le caratteristiche essenziali sotto il profilo funzionale, distributivo e organizzativo, secondo criteri di buona pratica per la progettazion
