No full textA Constituição Federal de 1988 representou um marco histórico importante na trajetória do Ministério Público, ampliando o leque de suas atribuições institucionais. A inovação das estruturas legais despertou a necessidade de renovação das práticas de organização de trabalho e dos modelos de gestão, impondo novos desafios para sua efetividade. Uma das atribuições do Ministério Público é o acompanhamento da execução das medidas socioeducativas de adolescentes em conflito com a lei, o que atualmente conta com o assessoramento técnico formado por equipes interdisciplinares, a exemplo do Núcleo de Assessoria Técnica Psicossocial (NAT) e do Centro de Apoio à Execução (CAEX). Objetivos - A pesquisa tem por objetivo compreender o desenvolvimento histórico das práticas de trabalho institucionais da Promotoria de Justiça da infância e juventude do Ministério Público dos Municípios de São Paulo e de Campinas na execução de medidas socioeducativas, bem como descrever a estrutura do Sistema de Atividade, analisar o seu desenvolvimento e formular as hipóteses de possíveis contradições históricas presentes em suas atividades, tendo como marco a Constituição de 1988. Método - A abordagem da pesquisa é qualitativa, de cunho etnográfico, resultante de informações coletadas de oficinas, entrevistas individuais, visitas ao local de trabalho, observação de campo, estudos bibliográficos e documentais e está pautada no método de intervenção formativa denominado Laboratório de Mudança (LM) que tem por escopo promover a participação dos trabalhadores na transformação de sua atividade, a partir dos conceitos da Teoria da Atividade e do Ciclo de Aprendizagem Expansiva. Resultados - O LM permitiu formular hipóteses de contradições primárias, decorrentes das situações intrínsecas ao modelo institucional do Ministério Público que repercutem diretamente no resultado de todo trabalho na infância e juventude e de contradições secundárias, resultantes das tensões e desajustes identificados entre os elementos do Sistema de Atividades que contribuem para explicar as causas profundas de dilemas e conflitos observados na Instituição. Conclusão - O presente estudo permitiu, por meio da compreensão histórica, possibilitar a seus participantes a pensar em um caminho de construção compartilhada de soluções, mediante elaboração de novos conceitos que visem otimizar a construção de políticas públicas mais consistentes, o que para tanto se faz necessário contar também com o engajamento do próprio Ministério Público, principalmente no que diz respeito aos problemas estruturais existentes.The Federal Constitution of 1988 represented an important milestone in the history of the Public Prosecutor\'s Office by establishing it as a permanent institution, essential to the State\'s judicial function, in defense of the legal order, the democratic regime and unavailable social and individual interests, and consequently broadening the range of its institutional attributions. The innovation of legal structures has triggered the need to renew work organization practices and management models, imposing new challenges for their effectiveness. One of the duties of the Public Prosecutor\'s Office is to monitor the execution of socio-educational measures for adolescents in conflict with the law, which currently relies on technical advice from interdisciplinary teams, such as the Psychosocial Technical Advisory Center (NAT) and the Enforcement Support Center (CAEX). Objectives. The research aims to understand the historical development of the institutional work practices of the Prosecutor\'s Office for Children and Youth of the Public Prosecutor\'s Offices of the Municipalities of São Paulo and Campinas in the execution of socio-educational measures, as well as to describe the structure of the activity system, analyze its development and formulate the hypotheses of possible historical contradictions present in its activities, taking the 1988 Constitution as a milestone. Method. The research approach is qualitative, ethnographic, resulting from information collected from workshops, individual interviews, visits to the workplace, field observation, bibliographic and documentary studies and is based on the method of formative intervention called the Change Laboratory (LM), which aims to promote the participation of workers in the transformation of their activity, based on the concepts of Activity Theory and the Expansive Learning Cycle. Results - The LM allowed us to formulate hypotheses of primary contradictions, arising from situations intrinsic to the institutional model of the Public Prosecutor\'s Office that have a direct impact on the outcome of all work in children and young people\'s services, and secondary contradictions, resulting from the tensions and mismatches identified between the elements of the system of activities that contribute to explaining the root causes of dilemmas and conflicts observed in the lnstitution. Conclusion. Through a historical understanding of the systematic origins of the problems, this study has enabled its participants to reflect on the systemic problems and to think about ways of building shared solutions, by developing new concepts aimed at optimizing the construction of more consistent public policies, which requires the engagement of the Public Prosecutor\'s Office itself, especially with regard to the existing structural problems
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
