Based on Integrative Therapy’s theory of consciousness, the author demonstrates, that exceptional events in the different senses can drop into the sphere of unconscious¬ness. Among them are atmospheres and scenes, which — stored in the archives of the body — can emerge in negative or in positive ways that may influence our moods. Therapy with „creative media“ and their projective potential can uncover repressed good or bad narratives and scripts, which can be worked through in creative processes that include verbal as well as nonverbal elements. These processes are illustrated by selected case examples and pictures.https://www.fpi-publikation.de/polyloge/02-2012-orth-ilse-unbewusstes-in-der-therapeutischen-arbeit-mit-kuenstlerischen-methoden/peerReviewedpublishedVersio
Ilse Aichinger: The Greater Hope
Ilse Aichinger’s The Greater Hope was one of the earliest works of literature to deal, from experience, with Nazi anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. The language of Aichinger’s novel, like the language of the poetry written by Holocaust survivor Paul Celan, is extraordinarily complex and vivid, enabling the author not only to capture the horror and the humanity of her experience under Nazism, but also to transcend that experience and offer a profound meditation on a greater hope, the metaphysical perspectives of which surpass the physical trajectories of devastation, deportation and death

Under strange skies : exile according to Ilse Losa
The article focuses on how exile is presented in three novels by the Portuguese author Ilse Losa (1913-2006): The World I Lived in (1949), River without a Bridge(1952), and Under Strange Skies (1962). Through the application of the transdis-ciplinary method while examining the subject matter of migration and exile, the article, on the one hand, utilizes some theoretical contributions to postcolonial studies and finds its place within the present-day discussion about the ethical and multicultural challenges that modern society faces, and on the other examines the way Ilse Losa’s novelistic narratives construct the image of exile and how the exiles understand their own identity.O texto propõe-se analisar as representações do exílio em três romances da es-critora portuguesa Ilse Losa (1913-2006): O mundo em que vivi (1949), Rio sem ponte (1952) e Sob céus estranhos (1962).
