    Onychophagia is a psychiatric disorder manifested by compulsive, repetitive biting of nail plates. To date, the etiopathogenesis of the disease remains incompletely understood. The leading role in the development of this condition is attributed to concomitant mental disorders. Nevertheless, onychophagy today is a complex interdisciplinary problem that requires the involvement of doctors of various specialties. Dermatologists are no exception. Clinical evaluation of nails in onychophagia by a dermatologist is important both in terms of diagnosis and possible ways of correcting pathologic changes in nail plates. This article provides up-to-date information on onychophagia with an emphasis on the dermatologic aspect of the disorder.Онихофагия представляет собой психическое расстройство, выражающееся в навязчивом, повторяющемся обкусывании ногтевых пластин. На сегодняшний день этиопатогенез заболевания остается не до конца изученным. Ведущую роль в развитии данного состояния отдают сопутствующим психическим расстройствам. Тем не менее онихофагия на сегодняшний день представляет собой сложную междисциплинарную проблему, требующую привлечения врачей различных специальностей. Дерматологи не являются исключением. Клиническая оценка состояния ногтей при онихофагии со стороны дерматолога важна с точки зрения как постановки диагноза, так и возможных способов коррекции патологических изменений ногтевых пластин. В данной статье представлена актуальная информация об онихофагии с акцентом на дерматологический аспект данного расстройства

    An integrated operational system to reduce O&M cost of offshore wind farms

    Offshore wind is a relatively new industry and it is generally more expensive to generate electricity than many alternative renewable sources. Operation & Maintenance (O&M) makes up a significant part of the overall cost of running Offshore Wind Turbines (OWT). Since the O&M associated responsibility is shared among turbine manufacturers, wind farm operators and the offshore transmission owners, this has inevitably led to lack of information, duplication of effort and less efficiency. Big data analytics is one great technique that will drive future growth. In this paper, an integrated operational system of offshore wind farm is proposed deploying big data analytics. Firstly, the current state of the O&M of offshore wind farm and the big data analytics are introduced. Afterwards, a predictive maintenance model and a maintenance implementation model are proposed, and an integrated operational system is developed incorporating those two models in order to optimize maintenance planning and implementation.     Leukonychia is the development of white patches on the nail plates. This type of onychodystrophy has different anatomical and morphological types and may be caused by a variety of both exogenous and endogenous factors. Diagnosis of leukonychia as a clinical symptom of nail damage is not difficult. However, in some cases, the presence of leukonychia in a patient requires closer attention. While acquired leukonychia is most commonly the result of a mechanical damage to the nail matrix, congenital leukonychia, in addition to its idiopathic nature, can be a sign of severe hereditary pathology. Congenital leukonychia may be part of various hereditary diseases and syndromes, being one of the symptoms or an essential component of the disease. Despite the asymptomatic course and lack of life-threatening risk compared to other clinical manifestations of hereditary syndromes and diseases, the diagnosis of leukonychia can help multidisciplinary physicians to identify the syndromal nature of this disorder, with further organization of the diagnostic search for other components of the suspected disease. This issue is especially important in the interdisciplinary collaboration of physicians of various specialties, especially when diagnosis is challenging. The article discusses hereditary diseases and syndromes characterized by leukonychia in patients, and provides summary on the etiopathogenesis and clinical presentation of these disorders.Лейконихия представляет собой появление на ногтевых пластинах участков белого цвета. Данный тип ониходистрофии имеет разные анатомические и морфологические типы и может быть обусловлен целым рядом как экзогенных, так и эндогенных факторов. Диагностика лейконихии как клинического симптома поражения ногтей не представляет трудностей. Однако в ряде случаев наличие у пациента поражения ногтей по типу лейконихии требует более пристального внимания. Если приобретенная лейконихия чаще всего является результатом механического повреждения матрицы ногтя, то врожденная лейконихия, помимо идиопатического течения, может быть одним из признаков тяжелой наследственной патологии. Врожденная лейконихия может выступать частью различных наследственных болезней и синдромов, являясь одним из признаков или обязательной составляющей заболевания. Несмотря на бессимптомное течение и отсутствие риска для жизни по сравнению с другими клиническими проявлениями наследственных синдромов и болезней, диагностика лейконихии может помочь врачам различных специальностей выявить синдромальную природу данного расстройства с дальнейшей организацией диагностического поиска других компонентов предполагаемого заболевания. Данный вопрос особенно важен при междисциплинарном взаимодействии врачей различных специальностей, особенно в случаях трудностей в постановке диагноза. В статье рассмотрены наследственные заболевания и синдромы, характеризующиеся наличием лейконихии у пациентов, представлена краткая информация об этиопатогенезе и клинической картине данных расстройств

    Yellow nail syndrome is a rare disease of unknown etiology, characterized by damage to the lung parenchyma and nail apparatus. The etiopathogenesis of the disease remains unclear. There are no precise epidemiological data on the disease due to its low incidence. The clinical picture that allows one to suspect this disease is a combination of changes in the color of the nail plates, lymphedema and such pulmonary manifestations as the presence of bronchiectasis, chronic bronchitis, sinusitis, recurrent pleural effusion, pneumonia, disseminated processes in the lungs. Yellow nail syndrome is a serious interdisciplinary problem in terms of both diagnosis and therapy of this group of patients. There are no approved treatments for yellow nail syndrome. This disease can resolve on its own within a few months if it is not associated with any paraneoplastic syndrome. The article presents a series of two clinical cases with an established diagnosis of yellow nail syndrome, highlights currently known data on the etiopathogenesis and clinical picture of the disease, and examines issues of its diagnosis and treatment.Синдром желтых ногтей представляет собой редкое заболевание неясной этиологии, характеризующееся поражением паренхимы легких и ногтевого аппарата. Этиопатогенез заболевания остается невыясненным. Нет точных эпидемиологических данных о заболевании в связи с его низкой частотой встречаемости. Клиническая картина, которая позволяет заподозрить данное заболевание, представляет собой сочетание изменения цвета ногтевых пластин, лимфедемы и таких легочных проявлений, как наличие бронхоэктазов, хронического бронхита, синусита, рецидивирующего плеврального выпота, пневмонии, диссеминированных процессов в легких. Синдром желтых ногтей – серьезная междисциплинарная проблема в плане как диагностики, так и терапии данной группы пациентов. Утвержденных методов лечения синдрома желтых ногтей не существует. Это заболевание может разрешиться самостоятельно в течение нескольких месяцев в том случае, если оно не ассоциировано с каким-либо паранеопластическим синдромом. В статье представлена серия из двух клинических случаев с установленным диагнозом «синдром желтых ногтей», освещены известные на сегодняшний день данные об этиопатогенезе и клинической картине заболевания, рассмотрены вопросы его диагностики и лечения

    Theoretical studies of the historical development of the accounting discipline: a review and evidence

    Many existing studies of the development of accounting thought have either been atheoretical or have adopted Kuhn's model of scientific growth. The limitations of this 35-year-old model are discussed. Four different general neo-Kuhnian models of scholarly knowledge development are reviewed and compared with reference to an analytical matrix. The models are found to be mutually consistent, with each focusing on a different aspect of development. A composite model is proposed. Based on a hand-crafted database, author co-citation analysis is used to map empirically the entire literature structure of the accounting discipline during two consecutive time periods, 1972–81 and 1982–90. The changing structure of the accounting literature is interpreted using the proposed composite model of scholarly knowledge development

The key microscopic features that control such assemblies remain poorly understood, nevertheless. Using classical density functional theory, we demonstrate how the intrinsic length scales and their interplay in terms of interspecies molecular interactions can be used to tune soft matter self-assembly. We apply our strategy to two different soft binary mixtures to create guidelines for tuning intermolecular interactions that lead to transitions from a fully miscible, liquid-like uniform state to formation of simple and core-shell aggregates and mixed aggregate structures. Furthermore, we demonstrate how the interspecies interactions and system composition can be used to control concentration gradients of component species within these assemblies. The insight generated by this work contributes toward understanding and controlling soft multi-component self-assembly systems. Additionally, our results aid in understanding complex biological assemblies and their function and provide tools to engineer molecular interactions in order to control polymeric and protein-based materials, pharmaceutical formulations, and nanoparticle assemblies.Peer reviewe

    Cross-Domain Co-Author Recommendation Based on Knowledge Graph Clustering

    Nowadays, due to the growing demand for interdisciplinary research and innovation, different scientific communities pay substantial attention to cross-domain collaboration. However, having only information retrieval technologies in hands might be not enough to find prospective collaborators due to the large volume of stored bibliographic records in scholarly databases and unawareness about emerging cross-disciplinary trends. To address this issue, the endorsement of the cross-disciplinary scientific alliances have been introduced as a new tool for scientific research and technological modernization. In this paper, we use a state-of-art knowledge representation technique named Knowledge Graphs (KGs) and demonstrate how clustering of learned KGs embeddings helps to build a cross-disciplinary co-author recommendation system

    This study aims to determine the effect of motivation on mathematics learning achievement of class X students of SMA Negeri 3 Sibolga T.A 2021/2022.  The influence of learning motivation on students is very important, because it can improve learning outcomes well through the achievements obtained. The results of observations and observations made by the author show that there are still many students who are still lacking in mathematics learning achievement who are involved in paying attention to the teacher explaining learning directly, focus and self-confidence are still lacking due to a lack of interest in learning mathematics. However, this can be prevented by applying the influence of learning motivation on students, especially in learning mathematics so that they are always active and enthusiastic in undergoing education in order to obtain good learning achievements.  The effect of motivation is very important because it can encourage self-awareness to focus on the desired goal
