La Cina delle Olimpiadi dal 2008 al 2022: parole, leggi e paesaggi urbani in mutamento
No full textIl volume descrive i cambiamenti avvenuti in Cina negli anni intercorsi tra le Olimpiadi del 2008 e quelle del 2022 e include tredici contributi. I primi tre saggi, rispettivamente a firma di Davide Clementi, Noemi Mazzaracchio e Ilaria Ricci, sono incentrati sull’ambito del diritto e trattano la regolamentazione dei prodotti culturali, la riforma del codice civile e di quello societario. La seconda sezione è invece dedicata all’analisi di fenomeni linguistici, con i saggi di Marco Casentini e Carmen Lepadat, e culturali, con il contributo di Giulia D’Aquila incentrato sul cinema. Nella terza parte del volume lo sguardo si volge alla trasformazione urbana della città che è stata il principale teatro dei Giochi, Pechino. Tre saggi si soffermano su questo aspetto, quello di Alice Cazzaniga, il secondo firmato da Elena Colafranceschi, Carlotta Pia Contiguglia, Camillo Nuti, Paola Porretta e Yudong Wei e il terzo di Giorgia Cestaro e Helena Roux. Anomaly detection in medical treatment to discover unusual patient management
No full textThe increasing availability of electronic medical records makes it possible to reconstruct patient treatment patterns adopted in a given clinical setting. Developing methods to detect deviations from these patterns may help to determine whether the management of a patient is unusual in some way. Using pattern mining techniques, our method extracts frequent patterns from a given dataset of treatment undergone by patients. Comparison is then made between frequent patterns of treatment and the domain medical knowledge, thus allowing the detection of two types of anomalies. The first type includes frequent patterns which deviate from accepted guidelines. These patterns can be evaluated and eventually fed back into improving the guidelines. The second type of anomalies comprises the anomalous cases that deviate from the frequent patterns. They may simply indicate variations in the examinations prescribed due to specific patient conditions, otherwise they may reveal limitation in accessing public health services or identify errors in the data entry process. In all these cases, the detection of the anomalies is useful for a successive analysis by domain experts. No full textThe paper proposes a procedure for the analysis of collaboration inside Industrial Networks. The procedure is based on a constitutive model of a SME network that describes the interactions among firms and their socio-economic environment. After a description of data collection procedure, a practice intended to analyze industrial networks using both quantitative and categorical data is presented. Data refer to several industrial networks spread all over Italy. Said data, collected during the CODESNET EU project (www.codesnet.polito.it), will allow to extract useful indicators of the network productive and logistic potentiality. The approach here proposed can be used by an industrial manager to find out either critical points that can hinder the SME collaboration, or focal points to reinforce their interaction
