    Resumen: Las sociedades modernas cada vez se diversifican más. Junto a los fenómenos existentes aparecen otros nuevos que afrontar. Estos fenómenos pueden considerarse tabúes o temas controvertidos según las características socioculturales de cada país. La normalización de la diversidad y de nuevas realidades es fundamental para construir personalidades sanas. Los docentes tienen gran responsabilidad sobre ello durante el proceso de la enseñanza. Con la Literatura infantil como herramienta en las aulas de segundas lenguas se trabaja con material auténtico que constituye un atractivo y contribuye en la sensibilización de los aprendientes, aumentando su nivel de inteligencia emocional y por consiguiente la tolerancia y la empatía. Siguiendo las directrices de los métodos comunicativos de aprendizaje de idiomas y centrándose en el enfoque por tareas «Titiritesa» de Xerardo Quintiá se convierte en un material didáctico idóneo para el tratamiento de la homosexualidad y el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo. Abstract: Modern societies are becoming more and more versatile. Besides the already existing phenomena new ones appear that have to be faced. These phenomena could be taboos or other controversial topics in relation to certain countries’ socio-cultural system. The normalisation of diversity and the new realities are essential for developing healthy personalities. Teachers have enormous responsibility towards this issue during the teaching process. In the second language lessons children’s literature could serve as an educational tool; these authentic materials could help sensitise the students and could improve their emotional intelligence and consequently their tolerance and empathy at the same time. If the principles of communicative language learning methods are followed and task-based teaching is also is put into focus, «Titiritesa» by Xerardo Quintiá will become a suitable didactic material for covering the topic of homosexuality and same-sex marriage

    <i>4.5.1. Lactuca sativa seed bioassay</i> <p> <i>Lactuca sativa</i> L. var. <i>capitata</i> ‘Attrakcio´’ (R´edei Kertimag, Hungary) seeds were washed twice with DW and were placed into Petri dishes (90 × 15 mm) containing filter paper (ø 75 mm, VWR, Hungary) (5 seeds in all Petri dishes). Dilution series of the isolated compounds were made in the concentration range of 1.0–100 μM by DW. The seeds were treated with 1.9 mL amounts of these solutions for 5 days at room temperature on natural light (the control was treated with DW). The length of the root and the hypocotyl was then measured by the software ImageJ (NIH, USA) using the screened pictures of the seedlings.</p>Published as part of <i>Berek-Nagy, Peter Janos, Gergo Toth, Szilvia Bosze, Lilla Borbala Horvath, Andras Darcsi, Sandor Csikos, Daniel G. 2.3. Activity of isolated compounds on the seed germination of Lactuca sativa and on the growth of Lemna minor plants Metabolites of endophytic fungi can protect the host plants against various classes of pests (like pathogenic fungi, parasitic nematodes, herbivorous insects, etc.) thus, indirectly promoting plant growth (Li and Strobel, 2001; Schwarz et al., 2004; Schardl et al., 2007). Some volatile organic compounds were also confirmed as enhancers of plant development, affecting directly the plants (Berthelot et al., 2016). However, several endophytic metabolites have been shown to be phytotoxic, inhibiting growth of the plants (Choi et al., 2004) and their seedlings (Rivero-Cruz et al., 2003; García-M´endez et al., 2016; Wang et al., 2020). To test the effects of our isolated metabolites on plants, two standardized assays, i.e., the Lactuca sativa seed germination- and the Lemna minor growth test, both having international recommendations, were performed (Priac et al., 2017; Vanhoutte et al., 2017). Neither the seed germination nor the reproduction and leaf development were affected by the metabolites of F. fulophazii, suggesting their no direct effects on plants (Supplementary Figs. S9 and S10).Published as part of Berek-Nagy, Peter Janos, Gergo Toth, Szilvia Bosze, Lilla Borbala Horvath, Andras Darcsi, Sandor Csikos, Daniel G. Knapp, Gabor M. The Autonarratives of Ernest Hemingway (and Others)

    Draws on the theories of Kenneth Burke, Julia Kristeva, and others in his examination of the complexity of self-representation found in A Moveable Feast. Toth analyzes Hemingway’s fictional construction of personal experience in “Miss Stein Instructs,” “Ford Madox Ford and the Devil’s Disciple,” “Birth of a New School,” and elsewhere. Concludes that the discreet sketches “emerge as a series of accurate yet always also contingent portraits—of Hemingway as a young author, of other famous writers working in the same place and time, of the specific events that defined the function of writing during the ‘Paris movement.’

    LINE WIDTHS OF H2O+AIR,HDO+N2H_{2}O + AIR, HDO + N_{2} AND N2O+N2N_{2}O + N_{2}

    Author Institution:Collision broadened line widths of H2O+airH_{2}O + air and HDO+N2HDO + N_{2} were determined from high resolution spectra covering the ν1,2ν2andν3\nu_{1}, 2\nu_{2} and \nu_{3} bands for both absorbing molecules. The N2O+N2N_{2}O + N_{2} line widths encompassed the spectral regions of the (1200), (2000), (0111), (0201), (1001) and (0002) bands. The N2ON_{2}O band notation is (ν1,ν2,,ν3)(\nu_{1}, \nu_{2},\ell,\nu_{3}). The H2O+airH_{2}O + air and HDO+N2HDO + N_{2} measurements were obtained for samples at room temperature and the N2O+N2 N_{2}O + N_{2} spectra were obtained for samples at 296K {296}^{\circ} K and 220K{220}^{\circ} K . The N2O+N2(220KN_{2}O + N_{2}({220}^{\circ} K ) values are compared to best-fit calculated values given in an earlier study by Toth.1Toth.^{1} R. A. Toth, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 40, 605-615 (1971)

    4.5.2. Lemna minor bioassay Lemna minor L. (clone 9441) was cultured during stock cultivation in a light chamber (16 h light exposure) at 24 ◦ C on a liquid medium (Appenroth et al., 1996). The medium was changed every 14 days. Two weeks prior to the tests, fronds were transferred into Steinberg medium to acclimate and the medium was changed after 7 days (Naumann et al., 2007). Dilution series of the isolated compounds were made in the concentration range of 1.0–100 μM by Steinberg medium. The fronds were treated with 1.9 mL amounts of these solutions in 24-well plates for 7 days (in a light chamber, 16 h light exposure) at 24 ◦ C (the control was grown on Steinberg medium). Fronds were then counted and the total leaf area in each well was measured by the software ImageJ using the screened pictures of the plates (Schneider et al., 2012). Statistical analyses of the Lactuca sativa and Lemna minor bioassays were conducted by Prism v.8.0.1 (GraphPad, USA). The normality of the datasets was tested by Shapiro-Wilk test. In case of normality, one-way ANOVA was performed. When data did not exhibit normality, KruskalWallis test was carried out. To compare the treatments with the control, we used Dunett and Dunn post hoc tests, respectively at α = 0.05.Published as part of Berek-Nagy, Peter Janos, Gergo Toth, Szilvia Bosze, Lilla Borbala Horvath, Andras Darcsi, Sandor Csikos, Daniel G. No full text
    This master thesis deals with the software support of one Financial and Property Analysis of Municipalities (FAMA). The co-author of this method is Doctor Petr Toth from the Institute of Public Administration and Regional Development at University of Economics in Prague. The method is supported by Microsoft Access database application and two C++ applications ArisDestiller and Prognoza at present time. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the present software support of Financial and Property Analysis and implement an alternative solution based on Business Intelligence tools. Chosen part of analysis is implemented in the pilot project using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 environment. The thesis focuses mainly on using integration tools for XML data. The contribution of the thesis is to implement data warehouse, which uses the municipalities'annual bills in XML format from the database of Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic. The Financial and Property Analysis method and the current software support are discussed in the first half of this thesis. The other half of the work is dedicated to the Business Intelligence pilot project. Both means of software support are reviewed and compared from various perspectives in the conclusion
