Aquest document és un recull de recomanacions per al personal de la UOC pel que fa a la seva signatura en qualsevol publicació científica en què participi. Aquestes recomanacions volen el següent: fomentar l'ús d'una signatura única; fomentar l'ús correcte de la filiació institucional dels autors de la UOC; millorar i assegurar una correcta visibilitat dels autors en les bases de dades de publicacions, repositoris, cercadors a la xarxa, etc.; facilitar el seguiment de la producció científica de la UOC; fomentar l'ús d'una signatura de correu electrònic consistent i que doti de solidesa la marca UOC.El 9 de octubre de 2014 la Comisión de Investigación y Doctorado de la Universidad aprobó las Recomendaciones para la firma de los autores en la producción científica
de la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Este documento es una compilación de recomendaciones para el personal de la UOC en lo referente a su firma en cualquier publicación científica en la que participe. Estas recomendaciones buscan: fomentar el uso de una firma única; fomentar el uso correcto de la filiación institucional de los autores de la UOC; mejorar y asegurar una correcta visibilidad de los autores en las bases de datos de publicaciones,

No full text“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Preparation of uniformly dispersed copper nanocluster doped silica glasses by the sol gel process
No full textThe synthetic mechanism of uniformly dispersed Cu-nanocluster doped (0.05-1.0 wt%) silica glasses (copper ruby glasses) was investigated by UV-VIS and FTIR spectroscopy, DSC, XRD, surface area and density measurements at different stages of drying/densification up to glass formation. The monolithic gels were prepared from Cu(NO3)2, H2N(CH2)2NH(CH2)3Si (OCH3)3 (DAMO) and acid hydrolysed Si(OH2H5)4 (TEOS). DAMO was used to immobilize the Cu2+ ions in the silica matrix. The formation and decomposition of Cu-DAMO complexes in the silica gel monoliths were studied. The doped gels were densified under H2 and He gas atmospheres. A maximum matrix (SiO2) density of 1.70-1.73 g cm-3 (77-79% of the theoretical density) could be achieved in an H2 atmosphere at 900°C. However a density close to silica glass 2.17 g cm-3 (>98.5% of theoretical) was achieved when the gels were densified in H2 up to 800°C followed by He gas at 980°C. The surface area data also confirmed this densification behaviour. Uniformly dispersed Cu metal nanoclusters were formed during the heat-treatment of the gels and as a result a surface plasmon (SP) band of Cu-nanoclusters (563-580 nm) was observed. The increase of heat-treatment temperature caused the growth of nanoclusters and as a consequence the SP band was blue-shifted. XRD data also confirmed this

No full textLa idea moderna de la "figura de autor" debe mucho, de manera irreversible, a los dos ensayos de Roland Barthes y Michel Foucault, "La muerte del autor" y "¿Qué es un autor?". Ellos proporcionan un marco útil para una investigación sobre la aparente ausencia del autor en el mundo del web, nos permite preguntarnos si la autoría es congruente con los nuevos medios de comunicación, y si algún modelo puede ser establecido por su presencia. Se argumenta que el autor es de hecho presente, pero con su presencia y modalidades de actividad desplazadas a la figura del usuario.The modern idea of the author-figure owes much, irreversibly, to the two essays of Roland Barthes and Michel Foucault, “The Death of the Author” and “What is an Author?”. They provide a useful framework for an investigation into the apparent absence of the author-figure in the online world, allow us to ask whether authorship is congruent with online media, and whether some model may be established for his presence. It is argued that the author is indeed present, but with his presence and modes of activities displaced, perhaps counter-intuitively, to the figure of the user
