The entries of the book are from 1842-1848 but are not recorded in chronological order. Rosewood, Sophia's childhood home, is briefly mentioned, along with a newspaper clipping of Sophia's marriage to James Curran.; The book of Alice Curran Conway's recollections is dated 11 September 1892 and contains the handwritten thoughts and memories of Alice Curran Conway.
